First of all, if you're not willing to get up early to get a good donut selection...don't complain if the selection is next to nothing by the time you get here! I set my alarm and arrived a little after 5am. Aside from waiting for the customer in front of me, there was no line. And the selection! From apple fritters to buttermilk bars, from old fashioned to cereal topped chocolate donuts. The only thing they didn't have was their croissants which I did want to try but the selection of donuts made up for that! I opted for half a dozen of my choice. I did ask for a Bavarian cream filled chocolate donut and a raspberry filled glazed donut, both of which she was happy to comply with-I waited while she went to the back to prepare the donuts. Total was $9.75, which was good, considering most of my selections were fancy donuts. Soft, fresh, just the right amount of filling. Excellent customer service every time and I love the free donut holes. Get here early for that fine, sweet selection that will leave your mouth watering. Thank you! read more

As the other reviewers stated, what is happening here? I love donuts and this WAS my favorite spot.. my last visit: very rude customer service, coffee was old and nasty and completely cold, refused to make fresh coffee, no donuts available and did i mention how rude the girl was? We will need to find another donut place after that. Please please improve and go back to original service and donuts. read more

Not impressed at all. They are extremely slow. I asked for whipped cream filling in the bar donuts. The lady took them in the back and 3 or so minutes later came out with a tiny bit of whipped cream spread out along the bars. I've never seen this and it looked unappetizing. It was messy. It should have been piped into the bar. I took them back and asked for more whipped cream and she seemed shocked. I waited while she went in the back again and stayed there for at least 5 minutes again. 4 people were served and left by the time she came back out and it was clear she didn't do ANYTHING back there. They still are subpar. I paid $4.50 which is a dollar extra for the cream filled. Waste of time and money. They don't even taste that great. read more

This place was not what I expected. I was looking for a really great donut spot near by. The donuts were just not that good. They had a funny taste for some reason and it isn't because I ate something prior to alter the taste. I have gone to a donut spot in West Sacramento in Jefferson Blvd, and they have an extremely good product, and I have been trying to find something close by home. The service was very nice, but I will try another donut spot in Roseville before I go back to this one. read more

They sell out usually by 11 am on weekends so get there early not because they want to sell out but because they can't find bakers to help them make more donuts. I tried to take my family out for donuts after church, like we do every week. We made the mistake of stopping here. There was one person working and they were completely sold out of everything but apple fritters. This store is terribly mismanaged. I normally start all my reviews with 5 stars and take one off for every negative. As you can see, there were no negatives. Although to be honest I have to say I was inside of the store for less than 5 minutes, but that could be taken as a good thing as I would interpret that as good customer service. So, here we go. The place is clean. It is located in nice strip mall with plenty of parking. The employees are friendly and they have a good variety of donuts. Their coffee was good and the donuts too. I have been here twice now and I have to say "move over Marie's" Jasmine Donuts has knocked you off my top spot. Although Jasmine is not open 24 hours they have the best melt in your mouth buttermilk bars I have ever eaten. The apple fritters are excellent as well and since those are my two favorite donuts Jasmine rules! We came about 1/2 hour before closing time on a Sunday and found the doors locked however somebody came and unlocked the door before we walked away. Although we only wanted a couple of donuts the owner told us, just pick whatever you want and you can have it all for $5 LOL. Great way to clear out inventory and a horrible blow to our waste lines but we didn't argue. If you like buttermilk bars this is the place to come. I randomly stopped at this spot today for the first time to grab a couple donuts before disc golfing, and they were great. I had a lemon filled jelly donut that was filled to perfection. Regular donuts: Meh. Not very fresh-tasting. Cake donuts: the cake-part is pretty good, but the chocolate icing they use if very off-tasting... almost tannic. Not sure what the donut competition is like in this area of town, but this place is not so great. read more

I heard great things about this place, the consensus on Rocklin's neighborhood Facebook page was that these were the best in town. I decided to go try for myself, not expecting much, and was seriously impressed! I tried 11 different donuts with my family and every single one was very good. I've heard this location will close when they run out of donuts so arrive early! My first attempt I showed up at 1:30 because they're supposed to close at 2:00, and they were already closed. The next day I showed up at 11 and got the dozen I tried. I don't buy donuts often but I have a new favorite place and will definitely buy from Jasmines from now on. My favorite was their apple fritter and crumb donut. Oh! They also gave me a dozen assorted for the price of a regular dozen ($8.50 vs $9.50) and they also threw in an extra donut. Beware of hidden costs! I'm happy with the donuts and really love the apple fritters. The staff is also very friendly. The problem with this donut shop is that it always costs more out the door than you expect. There are extra fees and special pricing for everything and they don't say anything, you just discover it after paying. They charge extra for everything you can think of. I payed extra last time for sprinkles. Extra $ for sprinkles!!?? What is that all about? Who's ever heard of paying extra for sprinkles on a donut? And don't even think about paying with a credit card, there's a fee for that too. My advice, come here for really good tasting fancy donuts like apple fritters and crullers, but stick with the local grocery store if you just want a dozen sprinkle donuts for the kids. read more

Came to Jasmine donuts because I heard it was one of the better donut shops around. When my son and I got there around 0900 on a Sunday morning, they were out of mostly everything. There were three younger guys working and one of them said there was more chocolate rounds and maple rounds coming out. I said I would wait for it and he saw me standing there waiting with my son. A few minutes later, I noticed one of the guys brought out a few trays of chocolate and maple rounds. I walked up to the counter and noticed they were helping another customer who had just walked in and they gave him all of the chocolate and maple rounds. They knew I was waiting and just passed me over pretty blatantly. This is horrible customer service and I hope the owner discusses this matter with their employees. When you have people patiently waiting to pay for your product, you don't disregard them. Not sure what the donuts taste like but if they're anything like the customer service then they're probably pretty bad too. read more

While not the fanciest doughnut shop around, Jasmine Donuts has great donuts at a fair price. The service is splendid. I do recommend getting there early, this place is busy between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.. If you have a large order they are very accommodating. I do recommend ordering in advance for large orders. read more

How in the world is jasmine's Donuts the only donut shop in Rocklin?? According to Yelp that is! I'm super new to the area so I'm still trying everything out. This place came highly recommended amongst a local online mommy group. And since it was the only one on yelp in my area I had to give it a try. Let me tell you what, I am so happy I did!! I ventured out for a dozen donuts Sunday morning because isn't that what Sundays are for?!! My step son having a sleep over gave me the extra excuse. With everyone's requests in hand I ended up at jasmines around 9 Sunday morning. The giant parking lot seemed empty except for all the cars in front of Jasmine's. I timed it perfectly because there was a bunch of people leaving as I came in and had zero wait. By the time I was done ordering my dozen the line was out the door! We are a family of maple lovers so I was very impressed at their maple selection. They even had maple bacon!!!! Also my SO loves orange everything and what do you know?! Jasmine's had a cake donut with orange glaze! First time I have ever seen that! There were a few cereal donut too! With our dozen donuts we got a few complimentary holes- the littlest's favorite. Out of the full dozen donuts I only got to try two because the boys ate them up so fast!! I had the maple cake and maple cruller. Uuugggghhhh SO GOOD! Nice crisp out side and super fluffy cake inside and a perfect creamy cruller. Super fresh and delicious. Establishment itself was clean and orderly. The staff was pleasant and did not rush me at all. They do accept CC, no charge over $5 I believe. My dozen was $11.19. Can't wait to go back and try some more!! read more
