When hearing what a huge fan I am of Mediterranean cuisine a friend highly recommend I try here. Happy I remembered to stop in while in the area this evening. There was tons on the menu I wanted to try but decided to keep it fairly basic because I didn't have a lot of time. Ordered the beef and lamb schwarma plate with rice and salad. While my date (my son) and I ordered first, the other two tables seated after us started receiving their food right away and I quickly became jealous that I hadn't ordered more. Well, next time... The salad came out first and I enjoyed every bite. Had a great taboulleh flavor which made me want to taste what their taboulleh actually tasted like, alas next time. My entree was quite disappointing. On the menu, they make it clear that each dish is prepared to order. However, both meats were not tender and very dry. Kinda reminded me of meat pellets. I think mine was simply warmed up from being prepared earlier. The service was great! The prices were fair. My entree was a little tough and left room for much improvement, but not enough for me to rule them completely out. Plus their garlic sauce and whatever the spicy green sauce they serve it with covered a multitude of dryness! I do want to come back and try some other dishes. Hopefully, I just struck out with this one.

The Chicken Kebab and yellow rice. Seven pieces

Got delivery, a chicken kabob with yellow rice and hummus. The chicken was just alright, the flavor profile was a bit flat. The chicken was cooked right, not dry thankfully. The cost was $15, and had seven pieces included which seems a bit pricey. The rice was good, had vegetables in it and had good flavor. The pitas definitely needed to be warmed, not a good choice for delivery unless you have something to warm them up with (just not a microwave) The hummus was not awesome, very bland. It could have used something to bring it up a bit. (Garlic? Lemon? Something) They included a small cup of toum (garlic sauce) which wasn't great however the green hot sauce was totally on-point and did help with the chicken. Overall definitely a solid three-star place, at least for delivery.

Shrimp kabob with yellow rice; beef and lamb shawarma with fries

Hidden gem! We tried the shrimp kabob plate and the beef & lamb shawarma plate. Both dishes were well-seasoned and generous portions. We were actually super obsessed with the 2 soup side options - vegetable soup and lentil soup. This place is definitely worth a try if you're in the area and/or hunting for a solid meal after 8PM.

I don't usually go 5 stars but one must for this place! WOW I tried to eat my fingers is all I could say and I have lunch for tomorrow- Woohoo This place is spacious, clean and AMAZING! The owners are from Syria and whatever spices they use are the BOMB.COM! We tried their sambusas(beef) and ohhhhh weeeee they were good savory, well seasoned and just the right start to our meal. They have a sister location so I knew their lamb chops were delish and this location did not disappoint! Hubby tried the kabobs (chicken and lamb) and welp left nothing on the plate. Either entree comes with 2 sides and garlic sauce (can't get enough of that stuff) and what I'm calling a Syrian chimichurri with an attitude cuz of the lil kick of heat! . Creamiest hummus ever to be had and their Fattoush salad is nice compliment! We met one of the owners and he was very hospitable! I didn't get many pics but do yourself a favor and GO!

    Mini family style platter

The best family style kebab platter I have ever had! This platter can most definitely feed 4-6 people, a great price for the quality and quantity. Comes with a choice of side, we ordered salad which was delicious. We also ordered the hummus plate to dip the kebabs in, highly recommend.

Great food, great people, great service…read more I enjoyed the chicken kebab with yellow rice and lentil soup. Great stuff.

AVOID THIS LOCATION!…read more My family that resides in Clt started coming to this location because of the proximity to their house, but after this past visit on June 20th, none of us will ever be back again after the absolute awful service! And, as anyone knows, you can have amazing food, but if the people and service are terrible that can ruin any dining experience! We were sat in an almost empty restaurant just after 8pm; the waiter came to take our order and was very engaging initially. We were a party of 6, so we were going to order 4 diff apps prior to the mixed grill which is what we always get. We ordered the hummus, falafel (2 orders because only 6 come per order), baba ganoush, and beef sambousa. We were told they were "out" of the baba ganoush & sambousas cuz they would have to make them and it would take like an hr...this sounded odd cuz umm, don't you make all your food to order?? This immediately put both my stepmom (who is Moroccan) and myself off and we were actually going to leave, but we were introducing my brother's GF to this ethnic food style & him + my dad convinced us to stay, so we just added salad and lentil bean soups). We ordered drinks (the GF & I were the only ones that didn't order sodas; she ordered a pot of Karak tea for her + I to share & I ordered a sparkling water). After 10mins no drinks in sight we were like "ummm?" then at just over 15mins they brought us the apps but no drinks?!? The drinks came separately a few mins later...all except the tea. For $3 on the menu I expected a bottled sparkling water, instead I got flat water from the soda fountain. I told the waiter this and he said he'd try again and if it wasn't "sparkling" then what did I want to drink instead...I said just a filtered water w/lemon. We were missing an order of falafel (were told they only had the one order and would have to wait for the 2nd, so we just canceled it; again whyTF did they not have anything on the menu at 8pm on a Sat!?) and they only brought one basket of pita for the hummus; we asked for a 2nd basket. The lentil soup (my stepmom makes better at home) + salads were mid at best. 20mins later they bring the main course, but we still had not gotten the pot of tea we ordered nor did the guy ever come back w/my "sparkling" or plain water...we'd had enough of this horrible service & I went in search of someone (the place again was empty & I could not find our waiter or anyone anywhere). Finally I see this lady who had attitude (I have a sneaking suspicion she pretended not to understand english when convenient) when I asked WTAF was up w/my water & the tea! Again, another 10mins w/neither showing up at the table...we were also still waiting for the 2nd basket of pita, but it was moot as we'd already begun to eat the main dish...my stepmom went to the lady & spoke to her in arabic and was like "where is her water and where is her tea!?" the lady said she was sorry she didn't know we didn't get them (BS btw) that's when my stepmom asked to speak to the mgr. We also wanted to order Knfa for dessert, so my stepmom told the lady we were ordering 3 now since they were taking forever to get anything to us, and if they didn't bring them when we were done eating, we would not be paying for them. THAT part seemed to get through at least! Halfway (almost an hr at this point) through the meal they finally come w/my water and the pot of Karak tea. At this point we hadn't seen the male waiter who took our order initially; he shows up & is acting huffy (the audacity tbh!) & tries telling me he never said he'd bring a 2nd sparkling or reg water & when both me and my stepmom (cuz she was sitting next to me & heard the exchange called him out) he got all defensive & said "well I guess I misunderstood" so then we are like "why an hr for the tea?" "Wellll, that's how long it takes to make!" I called BS & told him if that was the case he should have told us that expectation when we initially ordered! He then goes "Well I had to go to storage to find it cuz we were out!" K, howTF is that OUR problem!? Just tell us that so we know what to expect!? No apology was made and we were not credited for the tea nor the $3 sparkling water which I never received. Also, received the Knfa (shockingly, right after the meal) but it was served w/o the pistachios it was supposed to come with. When asked for them, we were told they were "out"...because of course they were! Absolutely HORRIBLE staff and service here; the food was good tho, but when u have an experience like that it still leaves a bad taste!

We started with their Calamari and Greek Bruschetta and they were a great start to our meals. Both were so tasty and fresh and I liked how the calamari wasn't too chewy. The interior is beautiful, but the real star is the food (and our waitress, who we were fortunate enough to get both times--she's fantastic!). Plumb forgot her name twice now The portions are so generous that the hubby and I have started a "share everything" policy just so we can sample more of the menu. The Lamb Chops are sizeable, perfectly seasoned, and actually taste like they would in Greece. The Hummus. It's rustic, flavorful, and took me straight back to the streets of Greece. Pair that with their juicy Greek Meatballs, and you're in possible food coma! They also boast an all-Greek wine list, which is a nice authentic touch. While they have a great patio, it's been a bit too chilly for us lately, but the indoor vibe is just as lovely. Authentic flavor, great service, and a wine list that actually knows its grapes--definitely a 5-star gem in the Queen City!
