Let's get first things straight: this is not a pretty, instagram ready restaurant. It's a genuine hole in the wall, and when I'm looking for that, I'm looking for an emphasis on food over everything. This may be the best middle eastern food in the city. We had the beef hummus, falafel, baba ganoush, and a massive family mixed grill with beef, chicken, lamb, and kafta over yellow rice. Their spreads are richly flavored and have a luxurious texture. Their meats are actually juicy and beautifully seasoned, and their rice is tender, brightly colored and seasoned, and maintains its integrity in the juices of all that meat. Their grilled vegetables are smoky sweet, and the house made toom is the perfect condiment. I also recommend saving some of the tahini sauce that comes with the falafel for your rice if you're into that kind of thing. Can't figure out why this place is so quiet. We drove 20 minutes to try this restaurant because we were so excited. We're from a country on the Mediterranean Sea, so finding a Mediterranean restaurant always gets us excited. Sadly, this place was a huge disappointment. Do yourself a favor and don't eat here. As soon as we walked in, we noticed how dirty and outdated everything looked. There was a strong moldy smell, the bathrooms were filthy and smelled awful, and the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The whole place felt unsanitary, and it honestly made us question how clean the kitchen could be. We ordered a few appetizers, and after waiting almost 30 minutes for food that barely needed any preparation, we completely lost our appetite. We were so concerned about the cleanliness that we decided to leave before eating. This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've had. When hearing what a huge fan I am of Mediterranean cuisine a friend highly recommend I try here. Happy I remembered to stop in while in the area this evening. There was tons on the menu I wanted to try but decided to keep it fairly basic because I didn't have a lot of time. Ordered the beef and lamb schwarma plate with rice and salad. While my date (my son) and I ordered first, the other two tables seated after us started receiving their food right away and I quickly became jealous that I hadn't ordered more. Well, next time... The salad came out first and I enjoyed every bite. Had a great taboulleh flavor which made me want to taste what their taboulleh actually tasted like, alas next time. My entree was quite disappointing. On the menu, they make it clear that each dish is prepared to order. However, both meats were not tender and very dry. Kinda reminded me of meat pellets. I think mine was simply warmed up from being prepared earlier. The service was great! The prices were fair. My entree was a little tough and left room for much improvement, but not enough for me to rule them completely out. Plus their garlic sauce and whatever the spicy green sauce they serve it with covered a multitude of dryness! I do want to come back and try some other dishes. Got delivery, a chicken kabob with yellow rice and hummus. The chicken was just alright, the flavor profile was a bit flat. The chicken was cooked right, not dry thankfully. The cost was $15, and had seven pieces included which seems a bit pricey. The rice was good, had vegetables in it and had good flavor. The pitas definitely needed to be warmed, not a good choice for delivery unless you have something to warm them up with (just not a microwave) The hummus was not awesome, very bland. It could have used something to bring it up a bit. (Garlic? Lemon? Something) They included a small cup of toum (garlic sauce) which wasn't great however the green hot sauce was totally on-point and did help with the chicken. I was there last week with my family and it was the worst experience I've ever had. First of all we waited more than a hour for the food, each one of us received their food in different times. We came to eat together not to eat separately. I understand that they had a lot of people but we still have to be seen and checked on as well. If you ask me about the food! Am say mine was not the best because I got a Philly cheesesteak the bread was not fresh at all. Some of us were eating the others were just waiting for to long for the food, at the end we asked for to go boxes and that took for ever and they are so stingy with their plastic bags and boxes I had to keep asking for more because we received the food very late and my aunt ordered her a salad with her rice she didn't even got it . The price was very high and the lady charged us for table service two times because there was two different receipts but we were in one table. Excuse me what service are you talking about? Hidden gem! We tried the shrimp kabob plate and the beef & lamb shawarma plate. Both dishes were well-seasoned and generous portions. We were actually super obsessed with the 2 soup side options - vegetable soup and lentil soup. The owners are from Syria and whatever spices they use are the BOMB.COM! We tried their sambusas(beef) and ohhhhh weeeee they were good savory, well seasoned and just the right start to our meal. They have a sister location so I knew their lamb chops were delish and this location did not disappoint! Hubby tried the kabobs (chicken and lamb) and welp left nothing on the plate. Either entree comes with 2 sides and garlic sauce (can't get enough of that stuff) and what I'm calling a Syrian chimichurri with an attitude cuz of the lil kick of heat! . My kids and I really enjoy Jasmine. The restaurant is very clean and food is rotated frequently. No, it isn't a 5 star establishment, but it is a great value for a family. There are dozens of food options, from typical asian buffet fair, hibachi along with many traditional American food options. The kids go for the jello! Wow. This place was fantastic. It's located in a small strip mall but has plenty of parking and tons of seating available. It is perfect for an intimate dinner or a big party. The server was extremely nice and attentive. The ambiance is nice and enjoyable. But the real show is the food! Wow it was awesome. I mean we cleaned our plates and loved every bite. I really really liked this place. The food was authentic and fresh. If you like, or are interested in trying, middle eastern food, you can't go wrong here. We had the three kabob mix plate, with shrimp, chicken, and lamb kabobs, and yellow rice and hummus (as sides), plus tabbouleh for appetizer. Everything was so yummy. I need to come back for dinner. This place is pretty nice inside, but they seemed a little understaffed for lunch. I came in for a work lunch last week and there was only one other table being used. I only saw one guy working as well though. I assume there were people in the kitchen, but our server wasn't around all that much. TLDR: Food was inedible, slow service, order was wrong. This may be the first place I can't say any good things about. We ordered two plates (veggie and chicken) with a side of grape leaves, two "natural" juices, and a side of hummus and extra pita. Items never received: side of grape leaves, extra pita, extra sauces we paid for. We also waited over 40 minutes for our to go order. Chicken kabob plate: they put such a small and sad amount of chicken on the plate but that may have been a good thing. It was sooooo dry and tough like sad. Basically inedible. Rice was okay, under seasoned. Veggie plate- falafel was so small. Again, it was really dry and tough it hurt my mouth to eat it. It was also super bland-- where's the seasoning?? It came with two grape leaves that were 80% olive oil and 20% super tough leaves. I've had better at Whole Foods. Think that says enough. Pita bread- jeez, what is up with this place cooking tough food. It was like trying to eat cardboard. We ended up throwing mostly everything out. We had such a great experience doing take out at Jasmine Grill. We started with the Fava Bean appetizer. It is served warm and has a hummus type texture except it is a little chunkier. We love the bean appetizer. It was just different but delicious. We then got the Chicken and Lamb Shawarma plate with grilled veggies, lentil soup and rice. Additionally we got the Shrimp platter with Garlic Sauce with Rice and rice Garlic. We mentioned that we live in the neighborhood and as a special thanks for coming in during the opening week, we received some rice pudding as dessert which was sooo good. We picked up takeout on a Thursday night - ordered ahead through Grubhub: Chicken Shawarma with fattoush (salad with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mint) and hummus. Chicken and Steak kebabs with maqluba rice and labneh (yogurt dip). Both entrees came with pita bread and 2 sauces on the side - a very spicy sauce and toum (garlicky, creamy goodness). The customer service at the restaurant was very friendly and informative. The portions were large - definitely enough for some lunch the next day. The food was well seasoned - not overly salty, plenty of herbs - and not overcooked. Do specify how you want your beef cooked - there wasn't an option to do that on grubhub and it was a bit more done than our preference. In my visits, I've had the chicken kebab, chicken shawarma wrap, hummus, falafel, grape leaves, kabsa rice, and maqluba rice, any of which I would happily get again. The service is great; the staff went out of their way to make me feel like I was a guy picking something up from my friend's place, not a customer picking something up from a restaurant. The three gentlemen I interacted with were willing and able to answer any question I had. When my roommate, who dined with me, asked for recommendations, the man taking our order responded by asking about my roommate's tastes and preferences so that he could give an the most informed suggestion possible. Tried this place and it is hands down the BEST middle eastern type food I've had in my life. We had lentil soup and the shawarma chicken platter with kabsa rice and taboleh salad. Probably the best kabobs I've tried since moving here almost 3 years ago. Had the chicken and beef kabob with yellow rice and salad. Everything was delicious. Also ordered the cucumber with yogurt appetizer and also delicious. My 1 year old ate most of it. Parents ordered the lamb chops and those were the tastiest ones I've had and I don't even like lamb.
