I've been here a few times before and usually thought the food was good, but my experience this past Sunday completely changed that. While refilling the buffet, 1 of the server brought out shrimp and scallops in the original bag, and it was clearly labeled Great Value -- the Walmart brand. What made this even more concerning is that the restaurant has a sign on the buffet claiming they source the freshest seafood and meat. Seeing Walmart Great Value frozen seafood being poured directly onto the buffet was shocking and honestly pretty disappointing. Especially considering there was a recall in 2025 involving Great Value frozen shrimp. I wish I had taken a photo, but my phone was at the table. Still, it definitely made me question where the rest of the food is sourced from. Needless to say, after seeing that, I won't be coming back. read more

First off, I like the variety. For lunch, they had thinly sliced beef, chicken, fish, calamari, bok choy, cabbage, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, lots. I was not disappointed with their selection. They also had quite a bit of sauces too - soy sauce, salt water, oyster sauce, sesame seed oil, chili sauce, garlic. We can on a weekday lunch. It got busy ..so busy that there were 5 chefs at the grill and there wasn't enough room for any more food on the grill. My first plate, I went with my own combo for the sauces and it wasn't saucy enough for me. With the second plate, I followed their suggestion. It was just okay. I was observing why it wasn't it was better and I noticed that the sauces were too diluted. The sauces would literally evaporate on the grill. I'm like I scooped up more than 3 spoonfuls of sauce and yet it still was dry. I think if the consistency of the sauce was better, it would stick to the noodles more. I've been to other Mongolian grills and I like the ones where the chefs add the sauce midway through the cooking. It is ayce but pricey. We didnt get our complimentary ice cream. I've been coming to this place for about 15 years, but unfortunately my recent experience was very disappointing. The food was burned, and instead of acknowledging it, the staff denied it but then one employee even admitted he enjoys burnt food. Which made the situation more frustrating. The main chef handed me back the same plate I had already placed in the dirty bussers bin after I had put together new bowls of meat and veges to be cooked again. I figured since they cleaned the grill after several complaints of burnt food we would be able to get a fresh plate. When I objected to taking that plate back they argued with me rather than trying to resolve the issue. At that point, we decided to leave. Clearly they didn't want to make us fresh food and wanted me to eat the plate that I had put in the dirty busser bin. On top of that, they tried to charge for sodas we didn't even get a chance to drink because of the whole burnt food situation. When I told them we weren't going to pay because we didn't even have a chance to drink it, I was told not to ever come back. After that circus show from the staff I will never come back anyway!!! As a sidenote, the whole buffet was a mess. No one was coming around to clean it or refresh it. First time eating at Jasmine. I came in a bit early (3:30 pm) and it was almost empty. A good thing in my opinion. Allowed me to take my time and not feel rushed. First off the staff was amazing. Smiles and very pleasant. I went to get my bowls and started filling them with my favorites. First time through was chicken and beef, second time through was seafood. Combination of the three noodles offered and lots of fresh veggies and various flavorings. Watched the chef cook my portion on the flattop grill. 5 minutes later it was played and I made my way back to the table. Taste? Amazing!! Perfectly cooked meat and the veggies still had a bit of snap to them. My meal stayed hot the entire time and was delicious!! MONGOLIAN BBQ DONE RIGHT - Jasmine is a lovely very large restaurant perfect for groups or couples looking to have an authentic Mongolian bbq experience. The lunch offerings are slightly more limited in what you can choose from than dinner, which is more premium but also a higher price point. The service has always been excellent and as a buffet style if you want seconds you can always go back for more. Our protip is to use two bowls, one for meats and the other for veggies, so you can get all you can eat on one trip. If you've never had Mongolian BBQ or you are a regular eater, you won't go wrong with Jasmine. If you want a more premium experience, tho, then shell out a few more bucks for the dinner menu. Okay so I realize that we went on Father's Day and they were packed. I've taken into consideration. But there are a number of reasons why this just is not the spot. We'll start with the service, two or three waitresses walked by and rudely were like hold on a second while we waited to be seated. When we finally were seated we had a great waitress who is an elderly Asian lady who was super nice but maybe the first people in the door shouldn't be hostile faces. So then we got up to get our food and it was your typical fair, in fact I would even say they have a really good selection more than most. But once we got up to the grill part I was a little put off by how much food I saw was being wasted in the catch trough underneath the grill. Like it was a lot. That's fine though it's not my money I don't care too much, we finished our meal It was about $67 for meal and drinks, which is pretty high priced if you ask me. The real trouble began about 15 minutes after we left we had to make a stop and during that stop I felt my gut rumble. And realized if I didn't get to a bathroom ASAP it was going to be bad. I proceeded to spend the rest of the night every 10 minutes with it coming out of both ends. I have a pretty strong gut, I don't get food poisoning like ever. This was really bad. I ended up taking the next day off work because I was just physically and emotionally wrecked from what this food did to my body. Don't do it. Love the seafood selection at Jasmines. That's always been my favorite part. I also love the cook on the big grill in one spot. Many Mongolian restaurants walk in a circle and your food and sauces get cross contaminated. That doesn't happen at Jasmine which is another huge plus. Huge location with ample parking. Great for groups. Several large group tables for 10 guests. The restaurant is soooooo loud inside. They need something to help with acoustics. There was a screeching toddler that proceeded to give that high pitch scream consistently throughout most of our stay. Lunch is a great time to visit as it's $21/adults and kids and $11 for kids under 4 vs dinner is about $10 more per person. Overall good value and good for groups we could barely speak to the person sitting right next to you which is a major deterrent for enjoying a family gathering. read more

I don't think I've ever been to a dedicated Mongolian Grill restaurant before. This was a great experience. We arrived just before 5pm on a Saturday. After being seated and ordering our drinks, we went to the long buffet to build our own bowls. Most people will get one bowl for veggies and another for meat. The food really shrinks once it hits the grill. There are two sides to the buffet, and there's a nice selection of meats, veggies, noodles, and sauces. Once you are through the buffet line, you place your bowl(s) on the counter by the chefs, and they cook it up for you! It doesn't take very long, but when we went back for another round, the grill was completely full, so we had to wait a bit for a spot to open up again. This really hit the spot, and we ate so much food. We had complimentary vanilla ice cream and raspberry sorbet at the end of our meal (brought to our table by the server with the check). read more

This was my first time trying Mongolian cuisine and I'm happy that my first experience was at this restaurant! We came in with a big group of people and they were thankfully able to accommodate for all of us with 2 long tables. It's an AYCE style so you walk up to the area where you can grab as much noodles, protein, veggies, and sauces you want (I definitely recommend grabbing 2 bowls when you hop in line so that you can carry everything you want, 1 does not hold everything properly). After you grab all of your things you hand them over to the chefs in the grill area where they'll cook everything you put in your bowls together. They don't really interact with us, they simply cook your food and provide it to you on a plate when finished; however, there is a tip basket available if you'd like provide them with gratuity. The food was so good, I really liked how much options you could choose from for everything. If you didn't put enough sauces while in line, they do provide soy sauce, hoisin sauce, Sriracha, and salt and pepper at the table for you to add more. Our waitress (older Korean woman) was really friendly and attentive to us to make sure our drinks were filled and that our empty plates were being cleared from the table. Add your sauces and enjoy. It's well set up for groups or special occasion. my suggestion is don't try to put it all on one plate, do a smaller 1st time through, then go back and do it again giving you more choices and being able to enjoy the flavors in the foods. The amount of options for the grill were good. Somebody had a cilantro explosion, so the items surrounding it were coated. Bad for me, since I have the cilantro tastes like soap gene. The sauces were okay. Once I had a plate done, it seemed to be lacking a bit in flavor. It was okay, but it definitely needed more flavor in the sauces. Checked this place out a while visiting family recently. The restaurant is very comfortable with a large amount of tables. Great for family dinners or large get togethers. You grab a bowl or two and go through the buffet style line of different ingredients to build your bowl. There are several meats, veggies and seafood to choose from. Tons of add ons and several different sauces to complete your bowl. You can come up with endless combinations depending on what flavors and ingredients you like. I added chicken, shrimp, noodles, veggies and a yummy teriyaki sesame sauce. After building your bowl you take it to the big wok where the cooks dump it out and cook it up for you while you watch. They plate it back up and you're good to go. You can have as many trips through the line as you like. After dinner they serve you a scoop of ice cream or sorbet. I'm a big fan of Mongolian grills. When done well, they are outstanding. There can be great options and variety and different flavours. This is not that. They have a ton of food options but the only flavourings they have are the cooking oils and vinegars for the sautee. They lack finishing sauces which can make or break a stir fry. Increasing the cooking sauces for flavour winds up making the meal oily. I cannot imagine it would have a huge overhead to have a few sauces to help add some flavor options after cooking. The environment is great and the chefs are great but the food lacks a little something without the sauce cart. Edit: the ice cream is a nice touch but when I got it, it had freezer burn ice crystals on it. This place could have been magnificent but it just falls flat. read more

Went here on a Friday night and it was packed. There was a line of people trying to get in and be seated. However, it only took us 5 minutes until we were lead to a table. The dinner prices went up since 3 months ago from $19.99 to $22.99. The rule here is, you can get as much as you want but always finish your food because you cant take it home and you get charged extra for what you cant finish. Because it was packed, less of the vegetables were available. Thankfully though, with a long line, it takes longer for you to approach the chefs at the end as there will be employees refilling the veggies when they can. With that, while you're in line waiting, you can easily go back when you see a veggie you want and come back to your spot. There are always only two chefs available so the line on a busy night will take longer. Each chef serves about 7 people each. Shoutout to them though for being able to hold up the line and getting everyone's food made as quickly as possible. So leave them a cash tip while youre up there waiting for your food. My tip to you when going here is get two bowls and if youre starving, fill up one bowl to be meat and the other bowl to be noodles and veggies. If youre not down to chow down a ton of food or want seconds to try a different combination, half each bowl portion. For sauces, i recommend 2 scoops of chef's sauce and about a quarter of oyster sauce. They also give ice cream at the end of your meal. Its a small one scoop of either vanilla or sherbert. read more
