The best way I can describe our visit is that everything was just okay. My Reuben - just okay. My daughter's salad - just okay. Afterward, my stomach rumbled for a while, and that's unusual for me.

    Chicken pot pie! Yum!

Time for a quick, and short update. Still great food. Had the deli club this time, and it was big enough for 2 meals for me. Great sandwich. Now, the reason for this update. FREE ICE CREAM! I'm a swirl person. How bout you?

It's just another Jason's Deli... reliable, predictably good food! I always think it's a bit overpriced but the food never disappoints, the people are super nice and the free ice cream... it's usually worth it!

Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but I was dying of hunger so I popped in. And before I became lactose intolerant I tried their pizza and it was delicious and I just loved it so much and their ice cream is so good. I was so happy too, because my relative can eat there and she is gluten soy and onion free, so if you have a relative that has one of those allergies this is one of the best restaurant to go to

Jason's deli is a great place to get sandwiches, salads and soups. They have a vast menu from which you can pick from and add a salad bar.

SLOW! Also half the staff is standing around waited 21 min and counting for 2 meals. Not sure if this is typical or not but not impressed

Poor service, management and servers just standing around while the line grew long. The restaurant was empty at 5 pm but fully staffed.

We had the Old Fashioned and the B1 Bacon Burger and both were cooked to perfection. The fries were excellent, too. Iced tea was fresh brewed and, though we don't drink beer, there seemed to be a wide array of craft brews on tap. Employees were friendly and helpful, we were greeted promptly, assisted with selections, and food arrived quickly. Restaurant was very clean! Oh, and it was only 1 mile (or less) from I-20. The seat was dry. There was plenty of toilet paper. The latch on the stall worked perfectly. At that point, I realized I had found a five-star bathroom. So I sat there a little longer to enjoy the peace and quiet and because apparently this was the only place in town where nobody needed anything from me. While contemplating life, I noticed writing on the stall wall, it said, "If you want the job done right, call Martha." I thought, Well, Martha sounds confident. So I thought I'd give her a call. Turns out it wasn't Martha. It was Bob's Construction. So I gave this place 4 stars. They need to occasionally confirm the numbers on the wall.

So, I have already had one review here. After being in Abilene for about 6 months, and coming to…read moreGrain Theory (almost daily) during that time, I finally tried the Brewhouse Burger. OMG, as an "Old Fay Guy" who has had more than his fair share of burgers, this is by far one of, if not the best, burger I have ever had. Shout out to Chef Rob and the kitchen staff. This burger will stand up (surpass) a burger from anyplace around.

Located on the second story of a beautiful building in downtown Abilene sits Grain Theory, a brewpub and coffee shop towering over the city. It is a mixed indoor-outdoor space with plenty of shaded outdoor and cooled indoor seating. Looking at their tap list, my girlfriend and I were impressed by their unique beers to try. I started with the Strawberry Peach Tonic (Fruited Hard Seltzer) and she had a Bella Rose (Rosé IPA). Both were served in cool glasses, with mine being tall and skinny and hers being almost like a wine glass. Shocking to nobody, mine was quite fruity while her Rosé IPA was hoppy with an underlying rosé flavor. Next, I ordered their Oktoberfest (German Märzen) and she had their Season's End (Belgian Dubbel). She described her drink as tasting like a Biscoff cookie. My Oktoberfest was quite malty, and I was a big fan. To close, we both ordered their Luscent (Belgian Table Beer) because small beers are back in fashion and I wanted to try it. It was obviously very light but still had a good flavor that was very bready. Nice and easy to close out our drinks with. They also have food and coffee that we didn't try, but the food looked sensational from what we saw others eating. They also have plenty of board games and card games to play while you're at the brewery and many beers available to take to-go. My only minor complaint is the lack of TVs in the brewery. Maybe it's a purposeful decision, but Texas Tech was playing football, and it would be a great place to watch the game. The bartenders are very friendly and willing to let you try and sample as many beers as you need to make your decision. Grain Theory feels like the kind of place every small Texas city wishes it had. I am very excited to come back here and try more beers, especially with how excellent the space is. RIYL: Cool-shaped beer glasses or a rooftop bar

Granted it was pretty greasy with so much pepperoni but I really liked the sauce, which had a spiciness to it, and the default crust. They offer cauliflower crust too. I've heard others have had issues when the place gets busy but it was smooth sailing the day I ordered. The pizza was ready on time and the customer service was good. The only caveat would be that the regular price of the pizza I ordered would normally be closer to $20 than $12, so definitely check for specials. Also, I am not sure if they use a third party delivery service or deliver themselves so you should check to be sure you get a hot pizza pie. There are only a couple of tables inside the store, so they are not really set up for dine-in. I will return as I liked it better than Pizza Hut, Papa John's, or Domino's, and I do not need to cook it myself like Papa Murphy's.

Placed my order using specials from the app. It took about 15 minutes and I headed home. I got a large pepperoni and black olive, and some cheesy bread. Sadly, the pizza was ok, but nothing great. Better than the other chains, but not as good as the local places . I will try again with my favorite, the Supreme. On the other hand, the cheesy bread was FANTASTIC! Loved it! Leftovers went in the air fryer for 3 minutes at 400. Still great! So, I will return for more cheesy bread and to try the Supreme. I hope it's better! Welcome to Abilene, Marco's!
