First time there. They have a decent selection of sandwiches and some soups. The tomato soup was delicious. Would recommend to a friend and family member.

This location still slaps. There's a lot of competition around for lunch but they are still a go to place if you are on a tight lunch away from office. Depending on the time of day, it might be difficult to get your order and eat at a table so I tend to take out on mine. Great area and easy to get in / out of but it can also be a high traffic area with some noise.

    Sicilian sandwich

Delicious sandwich! Great service! My wife and I shared the Sicilian sandwich. We also had a small gumbo soup.

    Chicken Alfredo

Asked for extra chicken in my Alfredo, was charged $5 extra for extra meat and there is probably 5 pieces of chicken in my pasta. For 5 dollars I could have bought a WHOLE chicken breast and for the other $13 I could have bought everything to make a whole pot of chicken Alfredo.

The meatball sandwich was amazing, and the portion size was huge. Interestingly enough the location didn't come up on Yelp when I searched by food, fast food, and restaurants when I waslooking for something to eat. I only happened to be parked at a light and saw it across the street so I knew it was there. Once I googled Jason's Deli it came right up but not in a general search. As awesome as the food was, and the restaurant was well staffed and generally clean, they do need to clean out the drains by the soda fountains next to the salad bar. It smelled like sewage in that corner which was really off putting.

This was a routine stop for me when traveling through Phoenix. I have been here 5 times in the last year. All 5 times they have gotten my order wrong. I usually get it to go and don't figure it out until I'm well on my way. This time I'm dinning in. The tables need cleaning off. The salad bar is messy. The corn muffins are rock hard. I used to get a sandwich but got frustrated with the order it being correct.

WARNING, Brutal Honesty Below: If there was a way to provide a 0 star rating and still write a review, I would. First the service; the front counter reception was so soft spoken, we couldn't hear her over the standard deli sounds (refrigerators, other customers, the phone). We had to ask multiple (no exaggeration, about 7 times to repeat what she was asking). It took 25 minutes to get our food, it would not expect that from a deli. Now the food (the food was awful in short); I will try to keep this as professional as possible. The food was not good, it was not bad...it was shameful. This was probably the worst food in Ahwatukee I have yet to try. Don't believe me look at the pictures attached. My $6 kids meals were dryer than the piece of cardboard sitting outside in the 110 degree weather, it was actually hard to swallow and my kids refused to eat them. My Muffaletta was an embarrassing example of not having pride in what they served. The restaurant had clean tables and seemed to have a few customers providing a somewhat local ambiance, eating the salads (I won't rate what I didn't have, but I would not eat anything from a salad bar that looked like a tornado hit it). Finally, I ended the night sitting on my toilet regretting not just going to the McDonalds up the road, at least they have flavor.

Drive-thru salad? Yes please! My favorite here is the Buffalo Chicken Salad (Carrots, Celery, Banana Peppers, Tomatoes, Croutons, Romaine, Buffalo Chicken paired with a Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing - 320 calories). The Buffalo Chicken Salad used to be a seasonal item but they have since added it permanently to their menu which makes me happy. I keep a container of blue cheese at home to crumble more in when I'm being indulgent. Aw yis! Come here when you need to hit the drive-thru line but want to eat healthy. You'll never regret eating a salad here.

Despite asking, their accuracy is SO WRONG. I do notice this location tends to have the least frozen drink. It's frustrating when you ask how frozen it is and they say "as frozen as it can get" and so liquid with a few chunks of ice. I appreciate their honesty at locations where they tell me it's not ready and they can't sell it. I used to eat their salads but no longer eat it. Their salad boxes are large thus making it easy to mix the ingredients. These days, it seems like their saving grace are the breakfast burritos which I still recommend.

The restaurant and outdoor entertainment complex is huge and has a really fun, energetic vibe. According to the bartender, they have ping-pong, pickleball, and a big upstairs outdoor patio with amazing views of Tempe and the surrounding area. There's also a large parking lot, lots of outdoor seating, and even a dog park area, which makes it really easy to spend time here. The bartenders and wait staff were very friendly. Azbel was a great server. I had the bistro steak and fries and the Szechuan lettuce wraps, and both were really good. Portions were generous. During late-night happy hour my total was about $55 for a main entrée, an appetizer, a cocktail, and tip, which felt like a great deal. I was pleasantly surprised that happy hour runs every day Monday through Sunday from 3-6 PM and again from 8 PM to close. I also checked out the event venue on site, and it looks like it would be a great place for a company party, corporate event, or group gathering. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.

Plus it didn't have that nostalgia vibe Tempe's location has. But, I was there for the food. I ordered my norm, which is a Chicago style hot dog along with some cheese fries. When my order was called, I picked it up and sat at a window side table. I tried French fry first and it was Luke warm and limp. I had to take it back and asked for crispier fries. They automatically upgraded my fries to large. The fries were just a little crispier and a little warmer, not hot. Weird! But the fries were tasty! Now my hot dog. It wasn't much warmer than my first batch of fries. Plus it didn't taste as good as the Tempe location. It was still good, but I think if the hot dog was hot it would have been better. My wife suggested maybe it's because their grill is new and isn't seasoned yet! Hmmmm! Maybe! But it was still good. I paid another visit and ordered another Chicago dog and a Fish sandwich. The hot dog was the same as my last visit. But the fish sandwich was a different story. It was actually a very good fish sandwich.
