First time there. They have a decent selection of sandwiches and some soups. The tomato soup was delicious. Would recommend to a friend and family member.

This location still slaps. There's a lot of competition around for lunch but they are still a go to place if you are on a tight lunch away from office. Depending on the time of day, it might be difficult to get your order and eat at a table so I tend to take out on mine. Great area and easy to get in / out of but it can also be a high traffic area with some noise.

    Sicilian sandwich

Delicious sandwich! Great service! My wife and I shared the Sicilian sandwich. We also had a small gumbo soup.

    Chicken Alfredo

Asked for extra chicken in my Alfredo, was charged $5 extra for extra meat and there is probably 5 pieces of chicken in my pasta. For 5 dollars I could have bought a WHOLE chicken breast and for the other $13 I could have bought everything to make a whole pot of chicken Alfredo.

The meatball sandwich was amazing, and the portion size was huge. Interestingly enough the location didn't come up on Yelp when I searched by food, fast food, and restaurants when I waslooking for something to eat. I only happened to be parked at a light and saw it across the street so I knew it was there. Once I googled Jason's Deli it came right up but not in a general search. As awesome as the food was, and the restaurant was well staffed and generally clean, they do need to clean out the drains by the soda fountains next to the salad bar. It smelled like sewage in that corner which was really off putting.

This was a routine stop for me when traveling through Phoenix. I have been here 5 times in the last year. All 5 times they have gotten my order wrong. I usually get it to go and don't figure it out until I'm well on my way. This time I'm dinning in. The tables need cleaning off. The salad bar is messy. The corn muffins are rock hard. I used to get a sandwich but got frustrated with the order it being correct.

WARNING, Brutal Honesty Below: If there was a way to provide a 0 star rating and still write a review, I would. First the service; the front counter reception was so soft spoken, we couldn't hear her over the standard deli sounds (refrigerators, other customers, the phone). We had to ask multiple (no exaggeration, about 7 times to repeat what she was asking). It took 25 minutes to get our food, it would not expect that from a deli. Now the food (the food was awful in short); I will try to keep this as professional as possible. The food was not good, it was not bad...it was shameful. This was probably the worst food in Ahwatukee I have yet to try. Don't believe me look at the pictures attached. My $6 kids meals were dryer than the piece of cardboard sitting outside in the 110 degree weather, it was actually hard to swallow and my kids refused to eat them. My Muffaletta was an embarrassing example of not having pride in what they served. The restaurant had clean tables and seemed to have a few customers providing a somewhat local ambiance, eating the salads (I won't rate what I didn't have, but I would not eat anything from a salad bar that looked like a tornado hit it). Finally, I ended the night sitting on my toilet regretting not just going to the McDonalds up the road, at least they have flavor.

Great lunch spot in Chandler! I have received a lot of recommendations to check out Sourdough & Co…read more I wish I would have gone sooner! Walking into the store, the first 2 things you notice is that it is busy!, and the heavenly smell of fresh baked sourdough. The staff is extremely nice and patient, willing to answer questions if you have any. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating, even though there is a lot of tables it is definitely not enough during lunch time. I ordered a 6 inch frensh dip and their bowl of clam chowder, all to go. Driving home with my to go order was torture! My entire car smelled like bread that just came out of the oven!!! The French dip was delicious! The shop provides a giant cup of Au Jus with the sandwhich, there is no way you are going to use it all! The sandwhich was well belanced with the meat and cheese, and the flavors were a great combination. The sourdough bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely recommend checking out this sandwhich. The bowl of clam chowder is the reason I know I will be consistently coming back to this shop. As a clam chowder snob, I am obsessed! The portions of ingredients were great, not too many of one ingredient. The soup was creamy but not thick like glue, great consistency! The cut sizes for the potato and clams were great and you could easily see the clams in the soup. It was phenomenal!!! I beyond recommend checking out Sourdough & Co.

Owner is super nice and the sandwiches are definitely a hit! Number 1 on the charts!…read more My husband ordered the Take On Me and I ordered The Boss. Soooo good!

Price and quality did not match…read more I ordered the pastrami sandwich and immediately noticed some cost cutting choices, like butter flavored spray (can we use real butter) US Foods/Chef's Store sourdough bread, (can we use real sourdough bread) and a microwave sitting next to the griddle (which the griddle looks like it has not been cleaned very often). I didn't think much of it at first, but then I watched the owner heat the pastrami in the microwave before assembling the sandwich. I've never had a deli sandwich prepared that way right in front of me, and it was disappointing. She also pulled out a large bag of Taylor Farms shredded lettuce. I asked for no lettuce, and she joked that "people don't want lettuce anymore." Given the recent news surrounding Taylor Farms, that comment didn't exactly inspire confidence. What really surprised me was that the pastrami was placed in a plastic basket and microwaved. Whether or not it's considered safe, seeing food heated that way wasn't very appetizing. Looking around, there also didn't appear to be any real kitchen equipment for preparing hot sandwiches beyond a microwave. A Blackstone griddle or even a quality countertop oven would have inspired much more confidence in the food, especially considering the owner's Yelp responses emphasizing the quality of their sandwiches. From what I experienced, the preparation didn't match those claims. In the end, we ordered just one pastrami sandwich and one beer, and the total came to about $25, with the sandwich alone costing over $17. For that price, I expected much better ingredients and preparation. Unfortunately, the quality didn't match the cost. We tried to be as nice as possible but we left feeling pretty disappointed and couldn't wait to get out of there.

We've been to The Sicilian Butcher in Chandler many times, so when my husband and I decided to go…read moreout for a nice Italian dinner, we figured it was a safe bet. Well...apparently, someone decided to fix what wasn't broken. As soon as we sat down, we noticed the menu looked different. Our waitress explained that it's a "test menu" that's been around for a couple of weeks. Uh-oh. We ordered our usual: bruschetta, Margherita pizza, and Bolognese pappardelle. The bruschetta was good, but now you get 3 instead of 4--and somehow pay more. Math was not on our side tonight. Then came the "Margherita pizza." I'm sorry, but this is where things went sideways. It's now basically a thick piece of flatbread with pizza toppings on it. That is not pizza. I wanted pizza, not a piece of bread going through an identity crisis. Thankfully, the Bolognese pappardelle was still really good. Thank goodness they left the pasta alone! Overall, we were pretty disappointed. With so many great Italian restaurants to choose from, I'm not sure why the menu needed such a drastic makeover. Sometimes, when something is already good, you just...leave it alone. We've always enjoyed The Sicilian Butcher, but if this new menu becomes permanent, we may have to find a new Italian dinner spot. Hopefully, this really is just a "test" and the old favorites make a comeback!
