I did meet ( get it not meat pun meant ) at a Schlotzsky's long time ago .. so Iam biased.. but.. the last time I had Schlotzsky's .. it was Grossky's.. and it was this place..so I knew it well .. not good.. not normal..but.. Huge But.. (every body's got one). Yesterday.. I was convinced to try again.. Sooo good.. bread on point.. meat on point.. ALL good!! The only suggestion I would have .. Is if your gonna serve Cinnabon.. Mochalotta Chill is mandatory!! But I also understand the whole cost n machine issue.. All really good though.. and they still have the really good pickle too.. My first visit here was great, but my second trip eight months ago was a complete disaster from start to finish. I arrived in the mid-afternoon and the restaurant was empty, yet nearly every table was dirty and had trash and dishes all over them. Instead of maintaining the dining area, the staff was sitting around eating and chatting, completely indifferent to the state of the restaurant. The meal itself was horrible. We ordered the California Avocado Flatbread which arrived topped with onions and no avocado. When we pointed out that the avocado was missing the server claimed the onions were meant for a Turkey Avocado Club (which also isn't supposed to have onions). We had to send our entire order back. Despite the place being empty, we waited another 20-30 mins for the remake. When it finally arrived, the quality was bland and disappointing; the chicken on the flatbread was served stone-cold, making it clear that "freshness" isn't a priority here. To top off a bad meal, the restrooms were filthy and smelled terrible. To make matters worse the restroom required a keypad code to enter, and the cashier gave me the wrong code twice, forcing me to walk back and ask again. Spending over $20 (including tip) for a "quick lunch" that was neither quick nor quality is unacceptable. Between the lack of basic cleanliness, the cold food, and the disorganized service, I won't be returning. It's a shame to see a place with potential turn into such a letdown. read more

I saw on T-Mobile they had a promo and I've never tried this place before and gave it a shot . The lady at the drive seemed very careless and gave me my food and shut the window quickly . She forgot my straw so I waited there for a few minutes before she returned and felt like she was giving me attitude . Besides that the food was honestly really bad. I'm not picky at all and I ordered the blt and it was so dry and everything in it tasted like it was heated In a microwave . The broccoli cheese was the other item I ordered and it almost tased sour like it was left out for a while . Also not good . Today, the universe aligned and this is how it went: The Good: The food surprised me! I got the French Dip (swapped sourdough for rye, added mushrooms--highly recommend). The flavors were on point and the au jus was savory. The frosted cookie sandwich was huge with perfect texture. Left with a full belly and leftovers. The Bad: The service was... struggling. Both the app and website crashed on me and I couldn't pre-order. Staff: I asked for the French dip to come with rye instead of sourdough, and the kid behind the counter told me this was how it comes (it doesn't). I also scanned the app specifically for the $5 reward, which wasn't applied (neither were points until I scanned my receipt). Management: When I asked for clarification on the rewards glitch, the manager basically shrugged and told me to "call corporate." The Ugly: The playlist. Walking in everything look great, as usual the app takes some work to get thru. We ordered pepperoni pizzas with extra cheese and went to sit down. Well, most of the tables were dirty, hadn't been cleaned, and many had food on the floor under the tables. Our pizza came out with a few slices with no pepperoni and not much extra cheese? Came to pick up for the T-Mobile special deal and to try this place out as it was my first but it did not leave a good impression. I ordered on phone and came to quickly pick up but as I went to the counter no one once talked to me. I waited and still no one. I then ask about my orders and another one I was picking up didn't get printed at all and they had no recollection of it. I got my order but I wasn't able to pick up the other order that was placed the same way. For events like this, their management should have been better and had more people in to help. I saw them all scrambling and just left because I was already at 45mins for a pick up order. I don't think I'll ever again do this. The food is really good at Schlotzsky's. Every morning I get the sourdough bread bacon breakfast sandwich. They have different bread options for their sandwiches, even gluten-free. They have a ton of other good food too. The service is Great! Ambience is awesome as well. All the employees make you feel welcome when you go there. The food is decent but the female staff member working at the drive through on 3/10/22 at 8pm was extremely rude my entire order. I told her I had redeemed the free chips and drink reward and the app would not let me get the free drink, only the chips, so I kindly requested the drink in person. I showed her the coupon as well. She was steadfast in her refusal and said she couldn't do anything about it. She told me to call corporate about a $2.59 small drink. I don't like complaining about the staff at a place but I am sure she was doing her best at the time and was unaware of how to best help me. Haven't been to this Schlotzsky's in years. I arrived at 10 AM and there were three other parties. The vibe inside was a bit upbeat, with loud 80's music, both in the restrooms and the restaurant. Both were kept very clean and the tables were spaced for Covid concerns. I ordered the Big Bacon Beef Cheesy sandwich and a large drink. My lunch arrived in six mins. The drink machines were in sad shape. One was out of order and the other was out of 2/3 of the drinks. My sandwich was good, albeit expensive. The meat was sliced thin and was tender, hot and juicy. Last week I placed an order, it was wrong order, Called spoke to manager was told come through pick up right order when it's convenient. I haven't been to a Schlotzsky's in a few years. I walked in to order a sandwich to go. The store was clean and completely empty on a Saturday afternoon. The person at the counter was polite, and he took my order. During the check out process, he pointed out the tipping options on the machine( 0,10%,15% and 20%). I thought I was being pressured to tip, without getting the food yet. How do I know it's good, what I ordered, etc? I told him I wasn't sure, and he said I could hit zero. I did have a five dollar bill and I said if he could give me singles, I'd be happy to leave a dollar in the tip jar on the counter. He hesitated, and said he couldn't open the cash drawer. So -no tip for perfunctory service at he counter. When I got home, I found the sandwich to be the wonderful, product I expected. I feel bad about not tipping.... But really? Just to give my order? It's a good idea. Take the concept of an old-fashioned Jewish deli sandwich shop, and convert it into a fast food joint. The bread is good, but you can taste all the grease in the dough. Superior overall to Arby's, and it makes a really nice alternative to your standard fast food hamburger joint. It's more expensive though, and for the money, a REAL old-fashioned Jewish deli would deliver up something that would completely blow any sammich here away. Good every once in a while. Surprisingly I haven't been into a Schlotzsky's in over 10 years. I was with my dad in the area and we were looking for something quick for lunch so we stopped in. I can say this, Jason was amazing, very friendly and humored my father by laughing at his jokes. We both ordered medium Turkey Bacon Clubs on sourdough. We hadn't stopped at a Schlotzsky's in years. We weren't quite sure what to order but stuck with a normal favorite of ours, the french dip on pretzel bread. What's pretzel bread? We didn't know but tried it anyway. Pretzel bread is good and the sandwich along with the au jus was great. We also ordered a bowl of chicken and dumpling soup. I thought it was A-OK but my husband hated it. He didn't think it tasted like good chicken broth. Servers were 50-50. Some were friendly and a couple others were sour.
