Dined in. Tues Nov 18 6:30pm. I putting this here so Jason's Mgt can research the employees working that evening.. Slender Mgr. Nice man. Great Job. The other two behind the counter WTAF?? I come to Jason's all the time. In Phoenix and Las Vegas. The food is always great. This was no exception. This review is for the two unpleasant humans behind the counter. So, like many people I ordered a sandwich with a salad. The very nice slender manager told me my salad plate would be waiting at the end of the counter , as usual. So I went down to the end of the counter. Waited & waited.. There was a man there. He never looked at me. Never said a word to me. I stood there for 5 minutes. I was giving the guy the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he was busy with tasks. Nope. So I finally spoke up and showed my receipt.. and asked him for the salad plate please. He looked at me like I was the rudest human being in the entire world simply for asking for my salad plate. He never said a word. It was almost a stare down.. Is this man autistic? He plopped the side said plate down with a cup for a beverage turned and walked away.. so I thought oh well. I went to build my salad. I went to my seat and enjoyed my salad. I ate the entire salad. And I was still waiting for my sandwich. It had been about 10 minutes. Maybe 12 max. So I walked to the end of counter and politely asked about my sandwich. At that point, the other person working, a woman, walked over with my sandwich, and basically dropped it on the counter in front of where I stood. The noise from the plate hitting the counter, was loud enough to create an echo .. Seriously?? So on this evening for two people working behind the counter, where ignoring people, and being rude to people. I witnessed it with more than just myself. Take a look at the schedule. Take a look at who worked. Be better. Do better. Of course I will be back. Not coming to this location anytime soon. That's for sure. read more

We love this place, but eating here today and looks really dirty. Glass needs to be clean and the ice cream area is a mess. Dirty tables.

First time here and most likelihood the last - we ordered take out - I had the caprese panini (vegetarian) which was hard bread and not worth the price. My friend had the steak po'boy, another also had a caprese and another had the beefeater (it was suppose to come with a cup of au jus but it didn't). Another friend had the plane Jane potato and it was big. She thought it was supposed to come with butter and sour cream, but these was none. I do not have much to say other than it is was pretty busy so maybe all of us just did not select the right sandwich. Not one of us cared for our overpriced food and we most likely would not recommend. read more

Great food, fast service, different sandwiches to choose, and free ice cream cone for dessert

Used to be great - but tonight's experience was different. Not recommended (read on) It's been a while since I stopped here, so I decided to revisit an old favorite tonight since I was in the area. As usual, I ordered my food to-go. Food: While not exactly low carb, I decided to order my usual Ranchero Wrap, and substitute Tomato Basil soup for the chips. They were both very good as always, the soup not too salty, and the wrap was just a bit spicy. But they forgot to include the salsa, which I specifically asked for. And the wrap was really skinny, with less chicken, compared with how they used to make it. So while everything tasted good, it was a disappointment. Cost: The wrap was $7.59, the soup was $3.19, and tax was $0.87, for a total of $11.65. Given the portion size, I don't feel this was a great value. Service: Slow. It was 8 PM on a Saturday evening with very few customers. Even with four employees behind the counter, it took 24 minutes to get my to-go order! Atmosphere: Just as "ok" as ever. Overall: Although I generally like the food here, the extremely slow service and small portions will keep me away. read more

I've always liked this place, haven't been for awhile. Probably one of the best pastrami sandwich's I've had in years. The broccoli and cheddar soup is delicious too! Kind of surprised by the bad reviews, they were busy (noon on a weekday) but not much of a wait, everything was tasty, and clean. read more

Had the muffalleta turkey sandwich and a cup of soup for 8 bucks. The soup could have been good, but was served luke warm. The chocolate ice cream machine wasn't working and almost doused me with the fake soft serve. The sandwich wasn't at its best either, it is usually better, but was way too dry and the turkey was oddly stacked making it difficult to bite into the sandwich. Wanted to come a couple times before writing this review as I know it's a chain restaurant. This location though has been really great, they have quick and friendly service with an impeccably clean, maintained, and well stocked salad bar and a Super convenient pick up and go option. In my most recent visit I ordered the beefeater which is basically a roast beef sandwich with au jus dipping sauce but it was soooo unbelievably delicious. The perfect amount of cheese and beef, it made for a hearty meal that didn't put me into a food coma! I think this will be added into our regular lunch rotation!! read more

The banh mi is a lie (Cool points if you know the reference :) ). Now to be fair, should you be really expecting a true banh mi sandwich at an American style deli? No, but still, don't advertise your sandwich as an iconic staple of Vietnamese fast food if there isn't any component at all that resembles it! It's like calling a dish spaghetti and meatballs using penne pasta with alfredo sauce! The sandwich itself tasted good at least. It was a toasted round ciabatta bread sandwich with "Asian slaw", some pickled veggie (Onion I think), and deli turkey meat. I primarily had the salad bar which was a little over $8. It was decent and had a lot of different toppings, dressings, and pre-made salads such as potato salad and the aforementioned "Asian slaw". They also offer small cornbread and gingerbread muffins currently. There is a fountain drink counter behind the salad bar with Coke products and a few iced teas. Service was fast and friendly. The bathroom was disgusting and looked like no one had cleaned it in weeks. There were a lot of unsightly stains (Stains that are only there if no one has scrubbed the toilets in some time), gray detritus on the floor, and dust on the toilets. Mixed feelings on this one. I generally have had good experiences with other Jason's Delis, but not sure if I'd go back to this one. read more

Jason's deli was much better when they first came to Phoenix metro. Jersey Joe's were my favorite. No more, it's kinda of sad despite covid this place is made to pump out online/phone orders. I just a Ruben besides over stuffing with pastrami the sandwich was very tasteless. I hate adding salt because it tasted like nothing. Toasted bread, some bland sour kraut, melted provolone cheese, and a squirt of thousand island dressing. Blah! Consolation is you still get free ice cream. read more

This used to be such a thriving place, but it's really gone down hill. There was only one other customer there around 530 on a Friday night - there were about 8 dirty tables that remained that way for my entire stay (about 30 min). We went to this establishment today and we have been there numerous times in the past. It takes us over 30 minutes to drive to this restaurant. This is my birthday month and last year they gave me a free dessert. I tried to open their app only to be told that I needed to do an update before continuing. I updated the app and could not get into the site. I tried for 30 minutes as we ate lunch to no avail. Finally, I went up and asked the clerk who needed to go find the manager. She looked up my account by my phone number and then proceeded to tell me that I didn't have a birthday posted in my profile. She never asked to see proof, just proceeded to deny my request. I still could not get into the app, because I could not put in a password. Finally, on my way home, I managed to get into the app and there was my birthday in my profile. If you are not close to the restaurant, you can't scan your receipt, therefore my purchase will not be applied to my bonus. I am beyond upset and disappointed in this place. I feel that the manager was rude and didn't even ask to see my drivers license to verify my claim. This was the worst experience we have had at this establishment. We normally bring out-of-town visitors to this location, but after this rude and inconsiderate treatment, that will cease. read more

Came in on Sunday at a little after 2:00 pm. 70% of available tables were free of patrons. Only 2 had been cleaned. There was plenty of employees working and hardly any customers behind us. In the time we waited for our order, which took over 15 minutes. No less than six employees came out to use their drink machine. We only witnessed two people actually do any work. Someone finally came to bus tables right before we got our order. He cleared two tables very slowly AND DIDN'T WIPE THEM OFF WITJ A TOWEL OR CLEANING SUPPLIES. Sick, need the best chicken noodle soup that Mom didn't make? Come to Jason's! Plentiful moist chicken, plump egg noodles and perfect broth are available everyday for $4 something a bowl. Sick or not I'll drive to pick up a bowl to-go! My favorite sandwich is the pastrami & turkey on an onion roll, called "Bird to the wise". Lots of pastrami and just a touch of turkey make you feel better about this indulgence. Large fresh salad bar, frozen yogurt and bottomless soda machine are just the bonuses. Happy eating! read more

Before they closed their Chandler Fashion Square location, I was a Jason's Deli regular. This is the closest location to me now. Everything I've tried has been good so far! They have fresh sandwiches, soups, pastas and baked potatoes. One of things that draw people here is their large salad bar. I usually get a specialty sandwich or a soup and sandwich combo. They have quite a variety of soups on hand. The Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup combo is amazing! My two favorite sandwiches are The New York Yankee (piles of hot pastrami and corned beef) and the Ham and Salami Muffaletta (topped with a layer of provolone and their olive mix). For drinks, I highly recommend their Black Currant Tea. I think my favorite thing about Jason's Deli is the free ice cream! You can grab a small cone or cup of chocolate or vanilla soft-serve ice cream (or both) after your meal. Jason's Deli does a lot for the community and raises funds to support local schools, churches, college clubs or other non-profits. They also cater and take online orders. read more

One of my favorite sub spots. They have a large menu of sandwich options which made it hard for me to choose! I had the Italian Cruz Poboy with ham, salami, Italian peppers, Asiago, lettuce, tomato, stone-ground mustard, Italian dressing, toasted New Orleans French bread. We always come here for the California Club which is the best croissant sandwich in town for a reasonable price! It comes with fruit with yogurt dip or chips. I would go for the fruit. I wanted a vegan option lunch today. Jason has a short menu option, soup, fruits, spinach deli wrap. I tried the spinach wrap with fresh fruits. I had to stop eating to write this review. The food is FANTASTIC. I ordered the Mesa Chx salad and it is fresh and the flavors are poppin. The dressing is very good and goes well with the salad. My wife and I stopped by for lunch and got exactly what we were looking for. I had a turkey and cheese with the fixings on rye and Emma had the zucinini half sandwich with a side salad and fruit. Save your money. Hadn't been here for a while and thought I would stop in for a pastrami reuben sandwich. Terrible is all I can say. I have never had tasteless pastrami before. No favor to the meat at all. It was soggy and blahs. I had my wife taste the meat before I said anything and her comment was it tastes like soggy fake meat. read more

Jason's Deli ... Good place for a salad and sandwich I have visited a few of the Jason's Deli's around town, and have eaten at the Jason's Deli, Chamdler location several times. Every visit to any of Jason's Deli restaurants has always been a great experience. I cannot seem to stop myself from ordering the fruit platter every time I visit Jason's. The fruit is always fresh and the fruit dip is delicious. I always want to try something new but always get caught up ordering the fruit platter. My lunch companions ordered several different items off the menu, and there were no complaints. The staff at Jason's Deli is friendly, accommodating, and the service is always quick. Jason's Deli has a large drink selection, and you get a complimentary soft-serve ice cream cone with your meal. Can you think of a better way to finish a meal? read more
