I love Jason's Deli. I visit the Tucker location often. Great food. Recently tried the Decatur location for the first time. The staff was amazing. A young man named Hendrix assisted me. His level of customer service was top tier! The only thing that would have made my visit perfect is if they would adjust their thermostat according to the weather. I came here today with a LARGE and frustrating lunch order for a bunch of annoying co-workers - I was greeted by a lovely young lady who knew my order would take awhile so she brought me a hibiscus tea. I was at curbside pickup. I had 3-4 bags of food+drinks. I patiently waited - the restaurant was already extremely busy - but after about 20-25 minutes my order finally came out. After getting back to the office, everyone's order was correct BUT they did forget the cookies. I called back and she had someone DRIVE THEM OVER TO US! I just through that was so sweet because I was exhausted at this point from the day I had, dealing with several ppl trying to even organize these orders... I really do wish I got her name but she was working the front. I just wanted to say thanks! We usually order from a different location but we may start using this one even though it's out of the way. Everyone loved their food also by the way. I got the tuna on rye with added veggies and omg it was very fresh! She gave me a side salad for my troubles and it was delish! The cookies were so good there were none left. When I got back with the food the office was quiet from everyone eating lol and I checked on everyone to make sure everything was ok and nobody had any complaints :) I can't list all of the orders here but trust me there were SEVERAL requests and they did a great job. read more

Manager sent a nice reply to my comments about getting hot food At the same time the salad bar plate is delivered requiring us to eat the salad after the hot entree. That's actually not good for digestion and I appreciate the consideration. Apparently the overflow of boxes and overwhelming congestion was due to special project and not the norm. I'm going back soon to try again and hope to upgrade to a five star review. read more

Thanks for the great service. The three person team that handled our order was wonderful. From order to made to pick up, awesome service with a friendly wave and smile, (could see their eyes light up which how we knew they were smiling behind those mask). The food was sooooo good. My toddler loved it so much that today she wanted the pasta alfredo with chicken again, but due to the holiday they were closed. She set in the backseat just crying until I promised her I would bring her back sometime in the week. If you got my baby eating, I mean all of her food, you are definitely at the top of my list for places to get food when I don't want to cook. read more

Had some good experiences and some not so good experiences so far at this Jason's location. The chain's large menu is both a positive, in that most everyone can find something they'd like, and a negative in that the staff isn't necessarily knowledgeable about the options. Last time we placed an order at this location, the cashier was very unhelpful as I was trying to order a baked potato that I knew they had but wasn't displayed on their menu. I didn't know what it was called but she made no effort to help me figure it out. Aside from this staff issue though, their food is generally good and portion sizes are decent for the price. read more

I've spent a lot of money here but tonight was plain ridiculous. I had dinner delivered. There is a $25 minimum so had to order extra deserts Plus a bottle of water to qualify for delivery. I also had to pay a $7.00 delivery fee. 1) The two drinks didn't come with the order. 2) They didn't include the salad dressing with my Caesar salad ( This location isn't aware that Ceasar dressing is always mixed in or even the type of lettuce that comes with a Caesar salad ) but I let that go a while back. Tonight I'm left with desserts I won't eat, I'm out of a delivery charge and since the issue is with the dressing, I still have to go grab dinner! Of course they didn't offer to bring the items back out. No restaurant should be this sloppy. Everything is on ticket as it should be but just not in the bag. They are often careless when I pick up an order ( meaning they leave items out way more than most restaurants) but this time, I had delivery so no one could run back in. The extra I paid and delivery charge...it was all a waste! The manager wouldn't get on the phone (The young man I spoke with was empathetic and understanding) but I am so frustrated with them not being able to be consistent and provide what is requested/paid for. I only have continued with them due to the gluten free options for my son. Restaurants are struggling a bit with Covid 19 but this location ( not all Jason's Deli's) just wont focus on attention to detail. read more

Nice service and friendly staff but whoever is preparing the food could do better. I ordered a club royale no turkey extra ham and I get a club royal with zero ham and full of turkey. I asked for a regular brownie and got some granola Carmel dessert. I got a bottled tea and after drinking half of it I see that it's a month expired. My Wife and I decided to eat at Jason's Deli in Decatur on Sunday, Nov.7, 2021, we have always loved Jason's in the past but were very disappointed this time. The sandwiches were OK but about half the size of the ones we used to get, the broccoli cheese soup was watered down so much it was like eating a cup of water and there were no crackers to be found so we asked for some and we were told that they were out of crackers. Second time I had to leave a mediocre review for a Jason's deli. The particular deli just open which doesn't bode well considering how many middling reviews it already has. We ordered our food at 7 the restaurant closes at 10. You would swear that the restaurant was closing at 7 by how the workers were acting. The salad bar was out of a number of things most of which were still out when we left. The ice cream machine was being taken down when we got our drinks. The worker was dispensing about a gallon of ice cream into a pan. We hoped that it was going back up. Nope. Three hours before close at dinner time is ridiculous to start shutting down the restaurant. My family loves Jason's deli but it is becoming hard to keep going back when the salad bar is constantly in shambles and the ice cream machines is being broken down hours before close. read more

I use to LOVE Jason Deli, but something about this location just isn't RIGHT. The LAST time I ordered from this Jason Deli, they didn't include the seafood gumbo soup. Every time, it's something. So I decided to call the restaurant and the manager (female) stated they didn't have the soup. She said she was going to credit my credit card for two soups. I eat here at least 1-2 times a week normally through DoorDash delivery. Today I wanted to get out of the house so o decided to do a pickup instead. Will never do that again. The timing was okay, the food is tasty as always but geez now I see how the dashers feel. The manager mistook me for a delivery driver and in the nastiest tone directed me to a shelf that held orders saying "they will always be there, you don't have to ask us". RUDE! Even if I was a delivery driver, it could have been my first day. Those delivery drivers are helping get your restaurants food to people, treat them with some respect. I'm not even a driver just a customer coming to pick up for the first time and will never return to this location even though it's less than 1000ft from my home. SO glad that there is a closer location now. The staff is great and very accommodating. The food is great as well. I have been here a few times now and yes I have had a few hiccups with my order but the reason I still give them 5 stars is because of how they handle the issues. The one manager in particular I think his name is Pete, (younger white gentleman with facial hair) is always great and has a smile on his face every time. I normally LOVE Jason's Deli, but this location just can't get it right. Every visit, if the ice cream machine isn't broken, they are out of croissants for the California club. Or you get all the way home and realize they gave you the wrong to-go order. Or the dining hall is filthy. Or the staff member is training (excuse for leaving ingredients off your sandwich). Or the tea is 5 times sweeter than it should be. Or no tea at all. And the employees definitely have the "I don't care" attitude which makes the entire experience much worse. This location needs some major training. I placed an order today at 5:03 for curbside pickup. When I arrived at 5:15 I called per the instructions and was just told they needed to bag my order. 20 minutes later with nothing being brought outside, I go in the store and then wait for another 5 minutes while my order is then bagged. When I get home 5 minutes later, I find my food is lukewarm. What is the point of ordering ahead? This is the second time this location has had extremely slow service. read more

This is one of the best Jason's in the city. The folks here are kind, patient, and hard working. I have been in the store many times and seen them in the "weeds" but every time they find a way to amaze. I have been going to this deli since it opened and it is clear that it has grown up. This was the absolute worst Jason's deli I've ever been to and I frequent Jason's Deli as it has been my lunch of choice lately so I usually spend about $50-80 or so buying meals for the week. I went to this Jason's deli for the first time today and the customer service was TERRIBLE. The lady at the counter asked me my order, while not at the machine ( so I assumed she would be memorizing it, I guess) and when I started telling her my order, which was long, as I mentioned I generally order allot, she asked me to slow down, in a rude way, when she could've just taken my order properly. Secondly, my order was missing items and was wrong! I specifically asked for something not to be on my sandwiches and it was on all of them! Luckily I'm not a picky eater but it's disappointing to have to eat something that you PAID FOR and don't particularly like the taste. Maybe if the woman at the counter was actually paying attention or took my order properly I would've gotten my correct items. read more

Food is good. It's just like any other Jasons Deli. The reason I give 3 stars is because most the staff are young and they are more interested in talking than preparing food. It took them quite a while to scoop out premade soup and put it into a bowl.
