Took the "littles" to breakfast, walked in and no acknowledgment the hostess (Hispanic woman with blond hair) just motioned us to our seat. Our server Shelly was great, very attentive & food was great! But they definitely need to work on the customer service when you walk in. At checkout I had a coupon which I told her (same woman from when we entered) she never made eye contact took my money & bill and tried to give me my change. So I asked again, "Did you apply my coupon?" She looked dumbfounded walked off (I thought to get manager) she took a table some creamer the other young lady at the front apologized and did the math to give me the correct change with coupon applied. Came in to place an order to go and there was nobody to attend the front. I waited to be acknowledged for a good 20min until the cook saw me from behind the kitchen and was very attentive and explained he was only the cook but that the manager will "eventually" be with me, which never happened. Only two people were seated in the restaurant and absolutely not a single employee to be seen around the premises. Thanks to the cook for acknowledging me and apologizing. GOT TIME TO WASTE? First thing I noticed when I walked in the door was the place was very clean, which is a plus they have this lady working there. She was constantly clean the whole time. I was there. I even told her did a good job but the waiter he was a cool guy, he was very accurate on the order he brought out and I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast with three eggs, hashbrowns, and pancakes, which was very good. I like Denny's for breakfast from time to time. But I will go out of my way to avoid this location even though it's closest to my house. The service is pretty poor. I've had times when it was almost impossible to get a simple coffee refill. There are certain servers who I refuse to have wait on me because they are so bad at their jobs. The food is usually pretty good, but this review was inspired by a particularly bad All-American Slam...cheese not melted, hash browns WAY over cooked, no butter on the toast. Do yourself a favor. I ordered Denny's through DoorDash. One of the breakfasts that I had ordered was missing. I called Denny's to let them know that I was missing a platter. When I called the person I spoke with insisted that it was in the bag which it clearly wasn't now with that being said, I did end up driving to Denny's to pick up the missing platter, and was given bacon and pancakes free of charge. Which I am very thankful for however, the platter missing was the classic benny, basically eggs Benedict. I'm gonna say I was very disappointed with what I was given. As you can see below the picture of what you're somewhat supposed to get or as close as possible, and then what I was given. Normally their service is very good so I'm not sure what happened on this occasion. When you order a platter, you're expecting to get what it's supposed to have. This morning I ordered on the mobile app for curbside pick up. It was supposed to be ready at 9:16 but I was running late so when I got there at around 9:40 I decided to go inside to grab it instead of parking in curbside. When I got inside and told them I'm picking up my order they inform me that they had just given it to some Mexican man in an orange jacket right before I came in. I said I don't know what Mexican man would've got it and they continued to tell me it's been picked up. I wasn't rude or anything and quite understanding and was willing to wait for my order that they did remake for me. But continued to ask if I had a "Mexican husband" that picked it up. Which makes no sense since they said the guy that picked it up was for DoorDash. Why would I have my "Mexican husband" come pick up my personal DoorDash order? And the receipt clearly said curbside order with a description of my truck. After giving me my order I began to leave and they followed me outside to see me leaving in my truck that was described with my black boyfriend (not Mexican) in the truck with me. As if I was lying about picking up my order. This place needs better management and to check the person picking up the orders and admit to mistakes when they are made. read more

They have the retro intelli crew tonight. All the other Denny's were able to leave the mozzarella sticks out of the cheese sandwich but the cooks tonight could not figure out how to not place the mozzarella sticks inside the cheese sandwich. Besides that it smells like a freaking ashtray in here. They had to call lydia in on her night off. She is probably the only positive thing about this place. And when I asked for the cream that goes on top of the pancakes it was rancid. I told the waitress that it was bad and she came back and said that the cooks said it was fine. Ok not my first pick for breakfast but the best in this area as there are limited choices. Nice private parking lot so no concerns there. When you enter the restaurant you are warmly greeted and quickly led to a booth. Since they didn't have potato pancakes I order one fried egg sunny side up with dry rye toast. My colleague ordered Moon's over my hamey. The shredded hash browns were mostly raw and not cooked. It's not Denny's fault they just should use a hash brown coin inside however it is more expensive per pound. This is the least expensive hash brown and it always has poor results. It shouldn't be served anywhere. My toast was delivered white bread. So I said where is the rye? They half heartedly said they have none so I wanted to know my other choices. So I said I will have a biscuit. Instead I was brought rye bread half ass toasted. Whatever doesn't matter that much and goes with the territory if you choose Denny's. Late review; went to Denny's in Dec. 25th! Let me explain the reason for my 2 stars. Walked in and yes, we got seated pretty quickly. However, we legit sat at the table for a solid 15 minutes before someone even acknowledged us/came to our table. I literally had to get up from my seat and tell the server/cashier member at the front that we were ready to order drinks and food. Staff member asked whose your waitress again, and sadly, I couldn't tell her because I never seen the waitress let alone, know her name. Also, the server I told all of this too, looked very irritated. (I hate when people don't want to be at work and they show it = drives bad customer service) Moving forward, waitress finally runs to the table and explains her lateness saying "it's really busy in here that's why..." and all of this other stuff. Which, I get it. It was Christmas Day and it's packed. But, just because it's packed doesn't mean you don't converse and acknowledge your customers. It can be the busiest place in the world but as long as I'm being updated with my order and your communicating with me, I don't mind how long it takes. But that wasn't the case. Also, placing the order with her felt very rushed! So now we're sitting at the table after ordering our drinks & food for another solid 25-30minutes and watching people who got there after us, get their food. There's nothing worse than this at a restaurant. Mind you, I ordered a coffee and not once did I get a refill or even asked if I wanted more. Now, we get our food after all of this, to only realize that we NEVER got any silverware. So this is my 2nd time getting up and walking to the front desk to ask for silverware because the waitress or whoever was serving us, couldn't be found. Then, they forgot my toast with the Build Your Own and the lady who brought our food said, "They're making your toast and I'll bring it out when it's finished." Legit finished my WHOLE plate and about another 15-20 minutes went by and NEVER got my toast. It doesn't take that long to make toast. Let me add this, the same lady who said she'd bring it out...walked by about 4 times and not once did she acknowledge me, glance over to see if I had the toast or even remembered. Rule #1 in customer service, never overpromise. Legit seen our waitress ONCE. So we walk to the front to pay and of course I express all of this to the manager and he ended up taking off 10% of the total. Mind you, all over the restaurant I'm hearing discounts being given due to the poor service, which isn't a good look on the company if you're constantly having to compensate people due to poor service. But hey, who am I to judge, lol. I'm for certain they are like this regularly because this was our SECOND time coming here and the first time we pretty much received the same service, I just thought I'd give them a pass and try again. I NEVER COMPLAIN but this is worth it. We were sat at a dirty table. So we ended up having to wait 4-5 minutes for them to clean it. I wanted my daughter to sit in a high chair but I wanted it to be wiped down so a women took it and sanitized it but communication was not spoken amongst them and my daughter ended up sitting in a dirty one that was brought from them. The women had noticed but she didn't even bother to say that one is dirty here's the clean one. We got our food and it was cold. It was taken back but it felt as if ended up getting less than what we paid for. I wanted to ask for my money back and so did my friend but it was already too much going on.
