The kind gentleman who took our order was genuinely delighted to see how much we enjoyed everything and even surprised us with a second root beer on the house, which was such a thoughtful touch. The little market was another highlight. It was filled with unique, wholesome products, many of which are sourced from the community's farms and workshops around the country and the world. It made for a fun and interesting shopping experience. And whatever you do, don't leave without trying the sweet potato pound cake. It was easily one of the most delicious desserts I've ever had--moist, rich, and completely unforgettable. I enjoyed every bite of my Kahuna Philly Large, the bread was soft, airy and so so fresh, juicy all whilst not being soggy even after the 10 minute commute to it's final destination . The flavors in the Philly were spicy, meaty, cheesy and earthy from the fresh wheat bread, the tangyness from the pickled jalapeños cut the richness from the cheese and meat, the sweetness from the red bell peppers and sautéed onions complemented the spicy very well. It's a well thought out sandwich and the portion of the meat and just the whole sub was gratifying at the price point. I was initially awed by the price and after eating the sub, I was left feeling I got value! This sub puts Fire-House and Subway to shame in my book! The bread is quite impressive! Stowed away in the back of the Oak ridge pharmacy....this hand made deli cafe has some good eats. The Oaknridge club was a good serving sandwich with hearty meats and a decent price of 6.95. My wife got the red beans and rice with Conecuah sausage. She said it was a great homemade option for Tillman's corner. But the best part is that they serve Cammies Old Dutch ice cream which is a downtown Mobile staple.....kids got the chocolate , and mint chocolate chip, and the wife and I got the ever famous lemon custard. Amazing and so close to home. We always forget about this place....Never again! We will be returning sooner rather than later! And they have a monster gift shop that the misses can browse while we wait. A relaxed homemade lunch. FYI my son said it was the best BPJ he ever had. A must visit for Tillman's Corner
