We ordered a family meal today. It took them 15 extra minutes to get it ready after the time we put down for pickup. That would be understandable but the grape salad had no pecans or brown sugar and worst yet there were stems on over half the grapes. We had no idea the gallon of tea would be warm and were not offered any cups of ice or anything so could not drink it with our lunch. The grape salad really was the worst. Used to love this place. Arrived today to learn that they have changed the menu. They have removed some choices of their chicken salads and with that they have added a few different sandwich options and now only one side with your plate and you have to pay for two sides where they use to be included. The lady taking our order was friendly and patient as we were lost looking over the board menu. The restaurant is always clean and they were playing old fashioned Christmas music today and it was awesome!! Kudos. We will return when I have a craving. read more

I have eaten at this place several times but this time was by far the worst. I ordered a scoop of chicken salad and a side of broccoli salad. When it arrived, it was more like half a scoop and on wilted lettuce. The two packets of crackers they provided must have come from the bottom of grandma's handbag; they were stale and broken into pieces. If that wasn't bad enough, about an hour after eating at CSC, I came down with the worst case of food poisoning I've ever had. Don't let their 97% health department rating fool you, they're serving up a generous portion of salmonella. read more

The food is great! The service in the drive thru needs improvement! Waiting 10+ minutes in a drive thru with only 3 cars is just not smart. If the business is short handed place a sign before the drive thru advising customers. If someone has a larger order or an order that will take time to make ready there are solutions... have them pay for their order , asking their name and noting their vehicle. Ask them to pull into a designated spot and then deliver to their vehicle when ready. If customers have to wait and then leave because they cannot order or receive their food, they will likely not be back. read more

We ordered through the app and didn't get half our food and 2 of the 4 sandwiches were wrong. We called and it took a while to get someone to admit they were wrong and apologize. They told us they'd "put our names in the book" for when we came to get our missing food and didn't mention replacing the sandwiches. At first she made it sound like it was our fault and then blamed the app. However, everything was correct on the receipt. Everything she said didn't come through on the app was on the receipt so we paid for food we did not get. They just lost 4 customers. read more

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. There was hardly any line, and the food came out within 2-3 minutes of us ordering. I had the Kickin' Kay Lynne spicy chicken salad with a side of fresh fruit. It also came with a pickle spear, crackers, and an iced sugar cookie. The salad was super tasty - not too spicy either. The fresh fruit wasn't all that fresh though - mostly old grapes. I would definitely order the chicken salad again, but would try a different side next time. It would be nice if they wouldn't use disposable utensils and cups for dine-in orders. Overall, an excellent alternative to fast food when you're out and about looking for a quick and casual lunch. read more

I've been wanting to try this place since a closer location (Gulfport, MS) recently opened. My husband and I was were just driving to get out the house and passed by the location. It was literally 5 mins til closing and we were greeted as if they had JUST opened for the day. The ladies at the front counter were so helpful being that is was our first time eating there and had no idea what to order. She informed us of their BOGO and quite upset I didn't take advantage of that deal after trying the Classic Carol. My husband and I both ordered the classic carol on a croissant (mine no lettuce or tomato as pictured) with fresh fruit. I was amazing. Perfectly seasoned COLD just like I like it lol I'd definitely be trying the location closer to me. Highly recommend. Side note: The ladies also offered us to dine inside but I could see they had started the pre-closing procedures so we took it to go. It's an epidemic! Almost everywhere you go to eat, sit down fancy to drive thru fast, you're left with that feeling of disappointment. Places that just before the Covid lockdown were excellent and consistent are now just fair or horrible. Chicken Salad Chick has unfortunately become one of these places. The food is very good, but the portions have shrunk and the prices keep rising. Then there are those 'wonderful' teenage or under 30 young people behind the counter. Always greeting you with a smirk or sardonic smile. Today for the fourth time in two weeks I stopped by their drive thru to get 2 Trios. And today for the fourth time I was shorted one of the sides and the crackers were smashed into breadcrumbs. For the price that would have bought a nice steak dinner for two, 2 years ago, I got a gut wrenching disappointment complete with the angry feeling of being been robbed. I called the Manager and complained but that left me even more aggravated. "I understand your frustration Sir, what I can do is offer a refund but I will need some information", is what he told me. I get it. Not much a kid in charge of kids can really do. The 'parents' are to blame. Those 'parents' are the upper Management and Corporate fakes who are impersonating a professional quality business, when in reality they run a legal scam. What a shame! So...if you and your significant other are hungry for a Chicken Salad Sandwich, a side of Grapes and a scoop of extra Chicken Salad for a Trio and you happen to have $25.80 for that lunch or dinner and you don't mind getting home with just the Sandwich and maybe the extra scoop or maybe just the side Grapes, depending on what they decide they're going to leave out that day, then by all means stop by this wonderful Woman owned business and make a contribution to her bank account. We try to give places multiple opportunities to do better, but this place is getting worse. The dining area and drink prep area are always filthy. They have more than enough staff to keep it clean, but nobody is holding them accountable. I understand hiring young people, but when doing, an adult should be teaching them the importance of making their restaurant shine. Lastly, due to the dirtiness we decided to take it to go and we got home to find half scope's instead of the normal full scope's. What a unique casual eatery! I got the Kay Lynne spicy chicken salad and a side of pimento cheese. It comes with crackers, a pickle spear and a small cookie. Both the chicken salad and pimento where's were good but they were especially good mixed together. I would definitely come back, particular since it's a new spin on faster food. Why on earth did I wait so long to try Chicken Salad Chick? This place is adorable! I love the decor. It's so light and airy and just feels comfortable. It's a great lunch spot. The menu visited a variety of chicken salads, hence the name, Chicken Salad Chick. It was hard to choose and I considered going with a sampler, but I really wanted a sandwich. I settled on the Fruity Fran. It had apples and grapes in it. The fruit gave it the perfect sweet kick but did not overpower the chicken salad. There were several choices of breads and I went with wheat. My sandwich was excellent. I had a side of fruit with it as it seemed like the healthiest option. The fruit was strawberries and grapes. My hubs had the Sassy Scotty and pasta salad. Our friends had the Fancy Nancy and broccoli salad. All of our meals came with a cookie for dessert. We all loved our meals and can't wait to go back. First off I cannot knock them on their food ! The chicken salad is wonderful and there are many to choose from which is even better ! I can tell you though unless you have forever to wait do not go through the drive thru at this place! I sat there for 15 min at a dead standstill today until I just decided to go somewhere else..... keep in mind this isn't the first time this has happened ! Although everything else is great they really need to work on the efficiency when it comes to their drive thru ! Including myself 3 others also pulled off, so when you are losing business obviously something needs to be fixed! read more

VERY tasty food, plenty of it & quick service too. This place is a definite "keeper", very clean & nice. The plate we ordered was around $9 each, certainly not bad considering how good it was. My only suggestion is that it was really super chilly in there. We may opt for outdoor seating next time which is also available. read more
