I have visited this location several times over the years and the staff is always friendly, service is prompt, and it's the best salad bar in town! I love the free parking and the self service ice cream machines. All the soups over tried have been good as well. Food is usually good but the costumer service for blacks is terrible. Destiny should not be able to help poc . I came inside the store , she looks right at me and continues to do whatever she was doing . I stood there for 2 mins before she asked if I needed help . I asked to have my soup and chips to go and of course she never relayed that to the servers . Then an older white couple comes inside and her whole demeanor changed , like she won the lottery . Got Grubhub per company ordering, and I got: - 1/4 ham and salami muffaletta with added egg, and baked chips: really soft and fresh bread, flavorful meats stacked high, enjoyed the olive tapenade. Could've done with a bigger sandwich, especially for the price. Baked chips was just baked Lays (not sure what I was expecting) - fudge nut brownie: good solidity, too sweet, could do with more nuts For the amount it cost, it left me a bit hungry still. We experienced pretty slow service, with staff that was inattentive. The food was good, on par with what we experience with the Franklin location. The location is pretty convenient, and they do have a large dining area. Overall it was perfectly fine, but next time we're in the area I'll stop somewhere else. read more

I had a lousy experience the last time but there were some extenuating circumstances. This time we went into the location in Murfreesboro. The pics speak for themselves. I'm not sure how much meat is on these sandwiches, but I could only eat half. They were really good. The salad bar pretty much has anything you could think of and was also very good. I can't say enough good things about catering with this Jason's location! Their manager Ashley went above and beyond making sure our needs were met at an affordable price. We ordered 1000 boxed lunches with multiple special requests, and they got the order perfectly!! She was super helpful by email, quick to respond and answering all my questions. Delivery was perfect too, and they were very friendly and helped us get everything set up as well. They even came by voluntarily the day before to make sure the food came to the correct spot when the moment mattered. Everyone was happy with their food, especially a few people who had dietary needs (gluten free and vegan) - it's sometimes hard to find good options, and they were very pleased. Jason's rarely ceases to disappoint. I give it two stars because the price is right and the food itself hasn't been bad, but the service ranges anywhere from "utterly terrible" to "pretty mediocre." I tend to get take-out, either ordering at the counter or online, and I always get one of the baked potatoes. At best and on a slow day, I waited ten minutes. At worst, I once waited for 45 minutes. While the staff aren't mean, they also don't seem particularly happy to be working there or working with each other. It always feels like a frenzy when I go in. I go here every so often when I feel like I've exhausted my other options, but I only do if I have at least 90 minutes to eat. read more

Man, old man, I want to like Jasons so bad. It should be relatively healthy food and somewhat of a salad bar that I always enjoy. The prices are put together in a way that it is just very expensive to eat here for what you get. The service is average. I know that's the same everywhere but I wanted it to be better. The day that I went to Jasons soft drink machine was not working, and as crazy as it sounds free refills on soft drinks is one of the reasons I went there. My one trip to the salad bar vis-à-vis the managers, special, found that many of the ingredients were missing or old and at the bottom of the bowl. It was awful. The sandwich had two pieces of avocado on it but charged over $2. It was so salty i couldn't eat it. They stated there is no salt on the line so I don't know how they managed that. I'm a huge salt eater, so coming from me it's saying something. The potato salad was disgusting. Ive never tasted potato salad so dry that it crumbles. The potato had hardly any toppings. Zero butter. I wasn't able to eat any of my food after a long day of moving. Last time i ate there it was great but not this time. Overall just a horrible meal that nobody could eat. read more

For less than $10.00 I can come to Jason's Deli and get a fantastic salad bar and a cup of soup. Such a good deal! My BF turned me on to this "best deal in town" and I would recommend getting the salad bar to go. You get two small side cups as well as a big to go container to fill up with whatever you want! Mmmm. I love making a salad here and having plenty of leftovers. I like this location on West End, but if you go during lunch on Sunday's it can be very packed with a church crowd. So watch out for that! I also have come here and the salad bar is missing some items, but they are pretty good at filling it up and keeping it clean. My favorite time to go is later on in the evening when it's not as busy and the quality is higher. Great spot to eat healthy! read more

NO MOBILE PAY HERE!!! It's really too bad this deli is still living in the stone age. The score on convenience is ZERO. I had to go back out to my car to get my wallet because they didn't take Apple Pay. In fact, they didn't take any kind of mobile ordering whatsoever. Not to mention I had to stand in a long line. Also, all I wanted was a simple grilled cheese. No chips. No soup. They charged me $11 for a small and simple grilled cheese. The perfect lunch time stop to cater to everyone's dietary needs and preferences! Not only does Jason's Deli have gluten free bread, but they ask upon ordering if it is an allergy or just a dietary preference. When I answered that it was an allergy, they immediately changed gloves and prep surfaces and informed me my sandwich bread would not be toasted. When my sandwich arrived at my table, it was wrapped up in paper and taped with a special dietary sticker (everyone else's was just plated). I was very impressed! The half sandwich (the steak poh boy is delicious!) and one time trip to the salad bar is such a good deal. The salad bar was very well stocked and fresh. The mac and cheese however was a major bummer; I ate one bite of it but it was just plasticky mac that didn't taste anything like cheese. Update 2022: Post covid, this place has gone down hill, some of the employees have one speed, slowwwwwwww. One girl was servicing the salad bar and did the very minimal, in fact she dropped a container with cheese on the floor, startled everyone picked it up and walked away, leaving the cheese on the floor for everyone to step in. Speaking of floors the floors were filthy, slippery and sticky, in the seating area and behind the counter, the food service area was filthy(behind the counter). The ice cream machine was filthy, salad bar was dirty. My husband said his sandwhich was good, but less meat then usual. We will not go back until they clean the place up. read more
