Sub...Hoagie...Po'Boy...Torpedo...Grinder - no matter what you call it, there is an essential quality about these style sandwiches no matter who makes them or where you purchase them. They come on some sort of French bread (or Italian, depending on your neighborhood.) Today's PSECS subs came on a crispy-crust, French baguette: crunchy on the exterior, and soft/chewy on the interior. Fillings are up to the customer who can choose from a list of hot, cold, wrap, or salad preparations listed on the wall and on the on-line menu. We opted for two simple, straightforward subs we order almost anytime we are trying out a new venue or chain. Unfortunately, what we received did not resemble the subs pictured on their advertising. Of course, frequently that is the case and accompanied by the disclaimer, "serving suggestion." The fillings were sparse...really sparse; but they were fresh and flavorful. Nonetheless, it was disappointing to get nearly twice as much bread as filling. (Compare/contrast my photos with the menu photos the company provides.) Fries were mixed in terms of quality: Cut Fresh, yes; Fried Nicely, yes...BUT other than the few 2" ones pictured on the photo I took and posted, they were little 1-inch pieces and smaller, hardly big enough to pinch between your fingers when trying to extract them from the cup-container. Flavor was good...at least from what we could tell with these nibbles. The employees were friendly and courteous. The interior of the building, located in the corer of a strip mall, was dim and dingy (but appeared clean). It's unlikely that we will return to this place again. But, as with nearly all my reviews, I urge you to check it out for yourself. Just ask them to be sure to stuff your sammie with a value congruent with what you order and how much you pay.

I witnessed an employee being rude to a couple that was trying to enjoy dinner then as I'm approaching the window it was 8:48pm and the new owner tells me that they are closed. I asked what time they closed and he stated 9 o'clock. From then I knew something was different. So I asked if it was anyway that I could please place an order to go as I'm aware it takes 10-15 mins? He replied, go ahead with attitude.. This was the second visit and I had been asking if Lisa was there and he would only smile and say "no, not today!" Well once this happened I simply asked, "Does Lisa work here anymore at all?" He replied, "No". I remember seeing her training him. while back - he over charged me one night and when I came back to pick up my pizza she apologized, gave me the overage back and asked why I didn't say anything when my price was higher that normal. It'll never be another Lisa!! I wish I would've known that she was leaving... I would've been looking for a new pizza place in our area. Due to their bad customer service - I cannot spend my money there... And my pizza was terrible Where is Lisa please come back!!! Signed Mrs. Olive Oil on Top (she gave me that name )

He personally told everyone to have a great day on their way out, which made the whole place feel welcoming and intentional. The restaurant was very clean -- and I mean actually clean. The floors didn't have that weird oily or sticky feeling that some restaurants have. Everything, including the drink dispenser, was spotless and working properly. I really appreciated that you can order face to face or through a kiosk. The kiosk option is especially nice for people who deal with anxiety. Just a tip -- if you order at the kiosk, you'll need to ask for your drink cups while you wait for your food. I ordered the Classic Burger combo, and it was hands down the best burger I've ever eaten. The bun was soft without being soggy, the burger itself was juicy and full of flavor, and everything tasted fresh. The burgers and fries are made to order, which really makes a difference. It was mildly busy, and it only took about 8 minutes for our two combo meals. The décor was super cute, with fun 1990s vibes that matched the Wayback theme perfectly. Overall, such a positive experience -- great food, great service, and a clean, welcoming environment. We'll definitely be back!

The hostess was sweet and polite. The runner bringing our order was nice too. Basically everyone here is pleasant with the exception of our waitress. Our waitress was tatted, sloppy and rude. Anybody can have a tough day, so I want to be merciful, but she started my day off on the wrong foot and nagged at me all day. I regretted tipping her out of habit; she deserved a dressing-down not a 15% tip. First, she ignored me for a long time, then took orders from several people who got there after I did. During the order, I specifically asked for a crispier, not floppy waffle, yet she brought me the floppiest pale yellow waffle I've ever had at the restaurant, to the point where I sent it back. She never came around with more coffee, I had to repeatedly ask for it, and the last time she brought a nearly empty pot that half-filled my cup, and never came back. She never brought my check and I sat and sat, finally went up to get my bill. I could've just walked out, I'm sure. Whoever this terrible server is, she's short, squat, and has a tattoo on her breastplate just below her neck. Very bad representative of Waffle House, a place where I customarily find the service friendly, and Nashville, a city that's already got a growing negative reputation for un-Southern rudeness and inhospitality. She made me wait ten minutes for a Coke refill (they weren't very busy) and then brought me sweet tea, which was what my husband and his male friend were having. She gave our friend a spoon with his grits, but I had to wait about fifteen minutes before she even brought me my grits, and she didn't even give me a spoon. When I asked for a spoon our waitress rolled her eyes; fortunately she didn't have to even take a step away from where she was standing, so I got the spoon fairly quickly. Worst waitress I have ever encountered in all my travels. I'll be telling EVERYONE who reads any social media available exactly what happened at this Waffle House all about this "dining experience" during which I could barely hear my companions speak because the workers were hooting and hollering so loudly. Where was the manager? Does the owner not care enough about the business he/she/they do at this Waffle House? Doesn't seem like it.
