Plate 1 of AYCE Salad bar

My friend and I hadn't been back in a while and we kept talking about their amazing salad bar. We had a nice lunch here with chilled salad plates and plenty of salad items including some premium items on the bar too. Our salads, toppings and dressings were really flavorful and fresh. Ad'janad was really nice in taking orders correctly and making sure everything was in the bag on my carryout too as I ended up ordering a Ruben to take home. The corned beef was packed over 2 inches high and was meaty with very little fat marbling. I wish I could have put a picture up but that sandwich didn't last long once it was opened. Prices may appear a little high but you get what you pay for here; generous portion sizes and quality meats and ingredients!

A great place for lunch! This was my first time at Jason's and I had a great experience. Workers are very kind, they work hard, and serve fast. It gets very busy during lunch but they manage well. I wouldn't say Jason's Deli is unique. They have basic lunch options which is not a bad thing! I had the chicken panini and it tasted great. I would definitely order it again. When you dine in, you can serve yourself to some free ice cream!

As soon as I walked in I was offered a menu. The employee was really nice and helpful. This restaurant has lots of seating and also had a salad bar. I ordered the turkey panini and it was really good. The pickle was individually wrapped which is a great idea! They also offer complementary vanilla/chocolate soft serve ice cream to their guests.

Jason deli is always consistent with my sandwiches. The portion sizes are perfect for the cost. The services is okay. Most days its good some days they are distracted. The ambiance cafeteria staff salad bar. The staff will bring your meal to you if you dine in otherwise you wait for your order to go. The waiting section could be a little better designated but otherwise everything else is good. Now on to my favorites.... the pot pie soup and the chicken chilli. The salad bar. The Turkey sandwich and corned beef with pastrami. Let's be honest you can never go wrong with a hearty sandwich to fuel your day.

So I was on an architectural survey and wanted something good and local. Since I'm from Columbus,…read morewhere the food can be pretty meh, I figured I'd give this place a shot because the reviews were great. At first, I was disappointed they didn't have Chicago Italian beef. So I asked what they would recommend, and the very polite lady behind the counter said, "You should try my meatball sub." I laughed and told her, "I don't know... my late grandma (100% Italian) made the best meatballs ever, but alright, let's do it." Then she asked, "Do you want peppers?" and of course my reply was, "Heck yeah!" She chuckled. When the sub came out, I have to say, it was huge. I sat down, took one quick smell and a bite... BOOM. I was instantly transported back to my grandma's kitchen, eating Saturday pasta and meatballs. I highly recommend checking this little gem out. The service, the atmosphere, and especially the food were all amazing. I definitely was not disappointed. P.S. Don't skip the desserts -- once again, absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for the memories and the great experience!

I really liked this spot. The place has the old-school rustic look.. The staff were super friendly…read moreand made conversation, which you don't get much anymore. I got the Italian sub, it came with mortadella, hot capicola, Genoa salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, and vinegar on Italian bread. First bite, I was like yes... this is it. The flavor just hits right, salty, tangy, and a little spicy from the capicola. Bread had that perfect chew, not too soft, not rock hard. Maybe could've been a little toastier but that's just me, but honestly, it was solid. We also got the Turkey Cobb. Roasted turkey, blue cheese, and applewood smoked bacon on thick sourdough with avocado. That one was so good. The blue cheese really stood out, packed a flavorful punch that tied it all together. Portions were generous too, I didn't even finish it all in one go. I'd definitely come back and try the other sandwiches.

Finally made it to try Swansons on Saturday. It's a small spot located between the movie theater…read moreand BBQ joint in hothead heart of La Grange. Although there are no tables, there's a ledge by the window with some stools if you want to "dine in". The guy running the place looked young but was super friendly and seemed genuinely passionate about the deli. He told me they make their meats and soups in store. It was a cold day so I opted for a small size of each of their soils that day- chicken noodle, cream of chicken, and roasted stuffed peppers. Everyone in the family had a taste of each and we all had different favorites so I will conclude that regardless of what you get, you will enjoy it! My husband also had their chicken pesto panini while I split a ham and swim with my son. Good flavors and fresh ingredients. Also excellent proportions. We will definitely be back!
