This place really surprised me. We went here for a Sunday lunch and it was packed. The staff was really helpful because we had never been before, and had no idea what to do. They have so many different options it is slightly overwhelming. I got the salad bar and a bowl of the Southwest Chicken Chilli soup. They give big portions here, and the salad bar has great options. Dined in on a Sunday afternoon recently. Older gentleman at register cranky and difficult with wife while trying to order. Wasn't wearing his face covering properly. Jason's deli is an acceptable spot for lunch. They are pretty quick at getting your food and they have a good selection of options. They also offers half portions, which is great for when you aren't in the mood to stuff yourself. The salad bar is huge and has lots of options. You also get free ice cream when you are done with your meal. That is a nice treat. I just don't think that the food is that great and it can get really hard to get a clean table. Stay away from this location. On the Postmates delivery app, this location shows it charges $11.49 for any delivery. That's outrageously high, and Jason Deli's sandwiches aren't very good. Their grilled cheese sandwich was dry and not very cheesy at all. Definitely not worth that kind of delivery fee. When I contacted Postmates about it, they wouldn't do anything. So not recommending Postmates for any food delivery service either. read more

I just love this place. If you want a super yummy salad bar, Jason's is where its at. This place is almost always packed and seating does become an issue. The manager is always front and center and very much active in the entire process. The ice cream...oh yes, the ice cream. I mean, yeah, I had the salad bar and I am trying to eat healthy, but how can you say no to SOFT SERVE SWIRL ICE CREAM?! Yeah, you can't. Lastly, here is my weird, negative quirk. I met a friend here (who loves this place) and for what it is - Jason't Deli is very good. Nice selection of foods on the menu, soups, sandwiches, entrees and an all-you-can-eat salad bar. I love Jason's Deli! Their sandwiches are good but I mostly go for their salad bar. It is huge and has so many toppings. It can get pretty crowded over the lunch hour but lines move fairly quickly. I've tried the soups and they are ok but not great. They have a soft serve ice cream machine that is included with all their meals which is a fun bonus. The service was great on our recent visit. One of the employees got us a high chair for my niece and also helped us carry our trays to our table and then helped us move them when the first table didn't work. They also do take out and have a separate pick up area for take out so that you do not have to wait in line with everyone who is dining in the restaurant. read more

I went to Jason's Deli for lunch today and they were busy. Our food took longer than normal, due to them being short staffed. I asked the manager if I could get my soup out early because I had to leave soon. He not only brought out our whole meal, but also a gift card to apologize for the wait time. Friday at noon. Crazy chaos busy hectic. Lady who took my order was polite, friendly, repeated my special order to double check it was correct. Salad bar one trip with sandwich was $5. Totally worth it. Fresh veggies, staff seemed to check often to refill items. Salad bar offered apple slices which my toddler enjoyed tremendously because food is better off of someone else's plate. Kids pizza was the right size for a kid. Doesn't come with any side but does come with a drink. Our sandwiches were very good warm but not hot. Table turnovers were slow given the amount of people that came and went that day but you will have a throughly cleaned table. Free soft serve ice cream The whole menu isn't posted. Weird right. Was looking for a place to get take out and due to COVID precautions thought we would eat in the car. Saw the dining room was open and not too many people so decided to try it. We ordered and sat down in a booth but noticed it was dirty. Asked them to wipe it off and a lady came by with a mask exposing her nose and pushed some crumbs off our table with a dry rag. When we got our food it was just meh. Husband had a panini and daughter had a salad. I had pasta which I couldn't eat. The Alfredo sauce was slightly orange and tasted like it came out of a can. The salad was good and husband said the sandwich was ok. We spent almost 30.00 which would have been better spent elsewhere. The hubby wanted to come here for a salad bar and I figured I could find something I would want . Not in the mood for a sandwich or soup I ordered the Penna Pasta with meatballs . REGRET !! My first bite of a noodle that did not have any sauce in it it was icy cold !! Is it suppose to be this way ? Do they think that putting sauce on it would warm it up enough so no complaints ? Got him ice -cream ( not "real" ice cream more like ice milk ) melted as it was coming out , he used a straw to drink it because it was melted right away . Expectations exceeded!! Went here for the first time today, Saturday before Easter, and it was packed. After looking over the staggering number of choices we each ordered a "lighter portion" sammie. It seemed to be taking a bit longer than we anticipated but not a huge deal as far as we were concerned. When our sandwiches arrived, Michael (looked to be a supervisor of some kind) looked at our order time and the delivery time and stated "18 minutes, this absolutely does not meet our expectations, this one's on me". I haven't been to this location in awhile, but wanted a fresh green salad and half a sandwich, so I loaded up the fam and headed to Jason's. I've always been pleased with the Midtown location and expected the same experience, but I was sadly disappointed. The sandwich meat was chewy and unevenly heated. The salad bar was alright (they don't give the chilled plates you'd get at the Midtown location). The biggest, more glaring problem was the cleanliness. This restaurant is dirty. When we sat down, I had to wipe down our table. The half wall that the booths are up against was spotted with others' food splatters and the little one's high chair was just gross. I came for the salad bar and wasn't disappointed. For $7.99 all you can eat it is a pretty good deal. Salad bar is good and they have a separate kiosk for salad bar so you don't have to wait in regular order line. Salad bar doesn't have much fruit (some apple slices) and has a good amount of variety for salad. For those interested in salad it's a good deal. If you want meat or soup they charge more but if you just want salad and some water it's $7.99 all you can eat. Cheaper than HyVee's salad bar but HyVee has lots of fruit and meat included in their salad bar. Either way still very satisfied and will be eating here again. read more

I'm not the biggest fan on Jason's deli but several people I know are so I somehow end up here more often than I would like. If I wasn't such a picky eater I'm sure I would really like it. There just aren't a lot of options I like on the menu. I always end up getting the chicken Alfredo and it is kinda bland, I could make much better myself at home. Prices are comparable to other sandwich places. The menu isn't you're typical sandwich menu And they have a lot of choices. It's always clean, pretty quick and the staff is friendly. This is a pretty solid sandwich joint. I've eaten here several times but I've only had the California Club. It comes with plenty of turkey, bacon, swiss, spouts, guacamole, tomato all on a toasted butter croissant. It's a pretty good sandwich and its filling. You can also get baked potatoes with various toppings and pasta among other items. Personally, I prefer Jimmy John's or my favorite, Schlotsky's to Jason's but it's a good change of pace. read more
