My sister and I ate here today and not only did I have to wait an eternity for my sandwich, it was terrible. I ordered the hot pastrami and the pastrami looked more like undercooked bacon. The sandwich was probably 50% fat. Will think twice before going back. They were out of pasta on the Salas bar so I asked if they could put some more out, they promptly went to put more out but informed me that they had run out. While they were packing my to go salad I asked if they might have any behind the counter since the salad bar was out. Mike, who I assume was the manager was very nice me immediately went back to have some more made and brought me out a cup of it. He went above nd beyond and I was really impressed. I have been to this one a few times. I like it. I am not a deli fan. I really don't care for thick, hard, cold sandwiches. But for Jason's it is good that it offers other foods. They have a salad bar, small but good enough, soups that come in cup or bowl, and baked potatoes with choice toppings. The potato that I had once ordered was the size of a child's Nerf football! Think about that, for a potato that was huge! I had the works on that baby. I could only eat half! With it I had a cup of broccoli and cheese soup. Oh that was dreamy! I LOVE their broccoli and cheese soup!! I recon you can get a complimentary ice-cream cone when you order. I am not positive about that. The store here on Waco Dr is decently big. Plenty of sitting. It is kept clean and the service is nice. This place caters to the health nut folks and medically healthy food people like gluten and dairy and nut allergies. It is a good place to go. read more

Not 100 % organic...but look at what limited selections are available in Waco. starting back as regular customer...why? I see careful detailed customer service..attentive to each one. cleaning procedures, check food temp at salad bar,changing food tongs, cleaning non stop and managers who take time to ask what do you need. Time to wake up America Waco and demand real food and patronize restaurants helping better our health...no preserved foods, no high fructose, no msg, yes they still serve toxic sodas but soon we will wake up and keep demanding good food and pay either with a wallet for health bills or organic healthy foods..waiting for a whole foods. I don't ever go into this Jason's to eat, but I do have them deliver pretty often to clients I call on. I'm generally pretty happy with the quality of the food for what it is. I don't ever get regular sandwiches, because I'm not a huge fan of their sandwiches. But I do like to order the baked potato bar and salad, and also some of the wraps are yummy and travel well. I order breakfasts from here most often. I love the yogurt parfaits, and the croissant sandwiches are good, if they are still warm by the time I get to eat one. The coffee has an odd taste, but the iced tea (especially the mango) is really good. I've been less happy with the delivery service. There have been times when it is very late (an hour), and they have even delivered to the wrong office a couple of times. That can get awkward. Ultimately, I think the main reason I order from here is because it is easy to order on-line, so they will continue to get my business because I hate having to make a phone call read more

One of the worst meals ever. Their version of a Reuben is called a Rachel. Scanty pastrami on the sandwich but that wasn't the worst part. The coleslaw that was on the sandwich had a funny taste to it, like it had been put in a refrigerator uncovered and picked up that weird refrigerator tang. I opened the sandwich up after the first bite and the coleslaw clearly was not crisp and fresh. It was soggy and discolored. Now I'm hoping I don't get sick from it. Won't go there again. read more

We had our football game in Waco we traveled from Mansfield TX and we had to feed 368 Band ,cheerleaders and drill team . Not knowing the area I reached out to Jason's deli and they went out of their way to accommodate us. Customer Service was great and the management team was amazing . Our experience was not so great considering there was a cockroach crawling across our table. When we confronted the management they seemed to not care so much and simply said 'sorry about that' and nothing more. Not eating here again. Place was filthy. read more

Great variety of veggies and the salad bar is great. Well stocked and maintained for cleanliness. Seating is plentiful and layout supports one or twenty. Only negative is the sandwich combo or soup combo will leaving you hungry. If you are a light eater, no worries. If you hunger for more than salad and a side snack, you may need to go to a popular sub shop for a real sandwich like Quiznos, Jimmy Johns, or even Jarrod Subs. Soda machine a plus for sugar fix. Yogurt machine a plus if you can digest dairy and sugar. read more

This is my favorite place to get lunch in Waco!!! I always order Amy's turkey-o sandwich with avocado and it is AMAZING!!! It's pretty cheap and is such a great deal because you get unlimited soft serve ice cream included!!! Would highly recommend!!! read more

If you don't know Jason's Deli, than I'm sorry to be the one to introduce you. I have a bit of a love-hate thing going on here. Most of the menu is not very good and overprice to boot. The notable exceptions are the salad and muffaletta. To be sure, it's not as good as you'll get in N'Orleans or any decent deli in this country, but it does the trick. Hint: Get the half muff; eat a quarter; take the other quarter home with you. And even though this is muffaletta heresy, choose the turkey option. Hey, it's a chain we're talkin about. read more

The times I've ordered carryout I've been really disappointed. I order the Pollo Mexicano which when ordered in store is wonderful. With carryout theres very little chicken, pico de gallo, and sour cream. Theres no butter. Dont waste money doing carryout. BTW, ive called each time except this one. Nothing changes. I went into Jason's Deli on Friday May 12, 2017 and had a terrible experience. First off, I went around 8:00pm well after the rush crowd was gone so they were not busy at all. I ordered a managers special which was half of a sandwich and a trip to the salad bar. The girl that took my order didn't know what she was doing and I had to ask her for my salad container. At the salad bar, it was very low and not clean at all. There were items that were mixed into containers of other items. I had to ask if they could send someone out to stock the salad bar which they did. After I made my salad, I went to the front counter to have them bag my order. There were no customers up front at this point, however I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me. There was a young girl to the right of me that worked there, but she had her head down in her phone looking at FB to even know that someone was standing right at the counter. There was another guy that I witnessed eating something off of the sandwich line that finally looked at me asking if I needed something. I told him that I needed my salad bagged and my sandwich that I ordered. He looked and said that my sandwich wasn't ready yet, however there were no sandwiches being made at the time. In the meantime, I noticed the girl that took my ordering walking around with 2 sandwiches on a tray looking for the owners. One guy stopped her and said that one of the sandwiches was his so she continued walking around about 5 more minutes looking for the other owner when it dawned on her that the sandwich belonged to me. I advised her that my sandwich was to go and that I didn't want a sandwich that she has been walking from table to table with for over 5 minutes and she asked me what did I want her to do with it?? The nerve!! I saw a manager and stopped him to complain about the service but he just offered excuses and didn't offer and apology nor to remake my sandwich nor any type of compensation so I demanded a refund and left. I will not be back there and will be contacting corporate on Monday to voice my concerns since the local establishment didn't seem to be very interested. read more
