Sandwiches are mediocre I avoid the hot sandwiches because they're usually lacking in flavor and they don't follow simple instructions like toasting the bread or add salt pepper etc... In our home we always get something from Jasper's when we cannot decide what to eat, or just want something savory! The Panini with Turkey, cheese, avocado & pesto sauce was a first for me, but definitely not the last! I loved the combination of avocado with pesto, it was savory and delicious. My boyfriend loved the ham & cheese panini. It was so cheesy, so filling, and a great & light meal for a late night. They forgot my iced coffees unfortunately, which are also AMAZING. But that's okay because I was able to work something out with the man who worked on my order. Shout out to him for the amazing work he put into our food and for being so helpful with the items being forgotten. I've eaten here many times over the years, I'm wildly disappointed. Ordered a bacon cheese omelet and it was terrible, unpresentable, embarrassing. They just fried eggs and put 3 pieces of orange cheese on top. That was not an omelette it was just an egg with cheese on it. I have yet to have a complaint especially when ordering using Grub Hub. For those unaware it is named after the Manhattan College Jaspers. Delivery staff is always friendly, the prices are very affordable. (If anything I wish they had smoothies & more vegan/vegetarian options) The food is always cooked to specifications. I always recieve everything as ordered and any extras or things I don't want are reflected. A 32 oz Iced Coffee is $3.50, there are so many choices on the menu with classic names for the items too! I ordered delivery from jaspers, which I have done several times before. I ordered a bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato sandwich and sweet potato fries. The fries were ice cold, and the sandwich had no avocado and was made on the wrong bread. People make mistakes, but when I called I was told that they didn't have the right bread, no reason for no avocado and that they were busy so then just made it, even though it was incorrect and missing an ingredient I had paid for. I used to enjoy ordering from this place after hours, the food was good; but after a recent issue in which I placed an online order, paid with credit card, left a great tip, to never receive my order and have them refuse to issue a refund/compensation left a horrible taste in my mouth. J deli has hands down the best chicken cutlet in the game. Their sandwiches are insane and their pesto grilled cheese is amazing. Only reason they're not getting 5 stars is bc the guy behind the counter wears his mask under his chin the entire time.
