Poor service and over priced. The teens working acted as if they were doing me a favor and overcharged for my ice cream.

Geographic monopoly after 9pm on weeknight is the only reason why this place had a line out the door. One single scoop on a waffle cone, one single scoop on a sugar cone and a double scoop in a cup put me back $18. Separately, the $4 oreo macaroon, which had to be purchased in a separate line was thrown away half eaten by my 7 year old who has never thrown away a macaroon. Ice cream was OK. This place makes the best coffee anything. This is a mandatory stop when I come to Park City. I ordered a Nonfat Honey Latte and my Fiance ordered a frostie latte .. both were excellent. As soon as I set foot in Park City I NEEDED a Crepe from COWS! Got to visit the first day here and I wasn't disappointed, again. Ordered the SONOMA CREPE (Grilled Chicken Breast, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Fresh Spinach, and Swiss Cheese) The two soup options were: TOMATOE BASIL SOUP or TURKEY CHILI. The Turkey Chili was my pick hands down! You can customize it with cheese and onions if you wish but by itself it's delish. The Crepe is made to order and in fron of you with fresh ingredients. With every bite you get your tsatebuds going with the delish melted-swiss cheese. The Chili was perfectly condimented and just the right amount of spice. Great addition for this cold weather. The whole shop also has a wide variety of espresso drinks and ice cream bar. They carry an ecclectic selection of funny souvenirs like magnets, posters, postcards etc, great if you're a tourist! read more

I got 2 shakes. I watched him fill mine, then fill my wife's... he didn't make enough so he poured some out of mine and in to hers. For $8.50, can I at least get a full shake??? I also had to wait over 20 minutes in line and there weren't many people in Front of me. Overall not a great experience. Next time I'll try the chocolate factory just down the street. read more

Cows was cool. I went there during a babysitting trip when the family went to dinner up the road. I got a delicious coffee, even though the kid working the bar admitted to not drinking coffee... He still knows how to make a good latte. oh... and he was really nice. They have soy and rice milk for us nondairy folk. And a bunch of granola and oatmeal type to go snacks. The place is cute. It doubles as an ice-cream joint but I stayed on the coffee side... I'll go back if I ever hit up Park City again. read more

Ice cream delight is what this place is! Well actually, the smoothies and lattes are also delicious. The scoops are a great size so one scoop is enough if you just want some fair amount of sweetness. My two scoop ice cream on waffle cone was about $5. I stop by every time Im in Park City so it is definitely worth a stop. read more

At first it seemed fun but I was literally waiting about 10 minutes in front of a couple of teenagers who were talking and giggling. Once I said "excuse me" nicely so I can get some attention the person serving icecream was a little rude. They looked annoyed and I felt as though I was bothering them. I had chosen to get my icecream in a cup and I literally got a spoonful. It was the tiniest scoop EVER. The poor girl struggled to get some icecream while the others were giggling and talking. Totally was not worth the money I paid. I don't like giving bad reviews but would it really be that hard to smile? for about 5 seconds. I left saying thank you so much and she just gave me a blank stare and went back to her conversation. I was about to walk away and asked for a napkin. She took a deep breath and tossed me the napkin. seriously? Sorry I bothered you at your work geez. Another day I ordered a yogurt on the opposite side. A lady with short blond hair was really refreshing and sweet as she took my order. She made sure I was taken care of right away. She is the reason why I am giving a 3 star instead of 1. I can't remember the exact name of my drink but it wasn't black coffee, but instead the type of drink that would make black coffee drinkers make fun of me. A Park City classic. It's tacky - one has to wonder who actually buys the junk they have on display which looks like it's been sitting on display for 20 years... The coffee and pastries are only average. However, Java Cow has the best ice cream on Main St by a wide margin. The worst smoothie I've had in my entire life. The strawberry banana smoothie tasted like teletubby vomit. I took one sip and immediately knew that I wasted $6. They don't use real fruit. Who knows what they use. It tasted like they took a pack of fun dip, a handful of marshmallows, 5 cups of sugar, 10-15 laffy taffys, and blended it all together. It was cold & snowing outside and it was nice coming in here to get all warm & toasty! Loved the cow decor here, bf ordered a lattee and said it was pretty good, but nothing amazing. As the name implies, Java Cow will hook you up with both coffee and ice cream. On my particular visit we enjoyed some of their homemade ice cream. They had some unique flavors and I thoroughly enjoyed my scoop of banana ice cream with peanut butter cups. It had a fun name which evades my. BF decided to get some java and cow in and had an coffee flavored ice cream. Get your popcorn, Yelp. This ones a doozey. As somebody who considers themselves a COFFEE ADDICT, let me be loud and clear: this was the worst "cafe" I have ever been to in my entire life. I would almost compare it to Gourmandise in downtown Salt Lake City(see other review). We'll begin with the quality. The "espresso".... garbage. As a former barista, I am well aware of the life of shots. I watched the barista pull said shots, smile in my direction, and turn around while the milk was steaming. I couldn't believe it either. Receiving my cappuccino took entirely longer than I anticipated, as I was in a rush, and figured a quick stop at a local coffee shop would have been an easy fix to edge my caffeine craving. I asked if they had bagels, to no avail. Bummer, would have made for an additional star. As a coffee snob, I was insulted. Not just insulted, irate. If Ben & Jerry's could have had a savvy Canadian cousin to learn from, then Cow's is who they'd want to "emoolate" (couldn't resist that one). Highest quality products, original flavours, fun every time you walk in the door. Always a struggle to decide what to order. Not only for the ice cream, but for the clever Canadian humor they put into T-shirts for all ages. My first experience with this gem was in Halifax, NS but the company's roots are in Prince Edward Island. I've been going to Park City for 20 years. It is so sad how this place has deteriorated. Used to be a great place to take the kids for ice cream. Service was awful. It was close to closing time when we arrived. The kid scooping ice cream refused to make us a shake for some reason. Cashier was abrupt and was complaining loudly that someone should lock the door so they could go home, even though people were still trying to get in. All kids working there, no sign of any real manager. Can only figure the original owners have moved on and nobody cares anymore. I guess they figure tourists will show up no matter what.
