Me and a group of friends went to this place for TWO nights in a row trying to get crepes. The first night, they just told us the station was closed. The second night, they made up a bull crap lie saying that it was closed because it takes awhile to clean the station (which it doesn't). We showed up an hour and a half before closing time so there was so reason it was suppose to be closed. The management at this place is terrible. They are rude and speak to people like they're the scum of the earth. Not a good idea when you're in the service industry. Their coffee leaves a terrible aftertaste and everything they serve comes out of plastic packaging that they literally heat up in the microwave right in front of you. The only thing this place is good for is finding refuge for their air conditioning in the summer when it's upwards of 90 degrees and you've been wandering Main Street for awhile. Not much else. I'll tell anyone who will listen to avoid this place like the plague. read more

Missed out on Java Cow the other night cuz they close at 9. Fortunately we were in time for Rocky Mountain Candy, in front of Dolly's Bookstore. The mint chip ice cream was awesome. So here we are tonight- 8:30pm- still open and craving an ice cream crepe! But wait a minute, they close down the crepe maker at 8. Seriously? If you're open till 9 be open till 9. And guess what else, no chocolate peanut butter ice cream- it says homemade- oh the scooper told me they haven't had it for two weeks. No need to rush back- I'll go back to the other place where they can meet my expectations! read more

So many flavors to choose from!! The line was out the door when we arrived so that either meant that the ice cream was really good or people just wanted some ice cream. It was definitely the former as the Rocky Road ice cream I picked was delicious! I was given a nice generous scoop in a homemade waffle cone and I promise had I not just stuffed my face I would have had another scoop. We came in near closing and one staff were very rude and unprofessional. He kept telling us we had to hurry, wouldn't give us any samples and then was rude when we asked for another scoop even though it's in the menu. For a sundae it was over 8 bucks and after being treated this way I would never come back. I spoke to the manager and he was also unprofessional and tried to justify the poor treatment by saying the staff had been working all day and just wanted to leave so it was ok to hurry us through. I hope the owners know how poorly the staff treat people at closing time and how unprofessional the manager is. read more

Fabulous ice cream! Many interesting flavors very chock full of interesting goodies/ treats, such as PB cups, toffee, chocolate, caramels, cookies, and actually almost anything you can imagine. Very fun funky atmosphere. Great if you love cows! read more

After enduring ( Gag!) instant coffee at the hotel I went in search of some real stuff. Yelp led me here and I am so glad I trusted you all. The coffee is local Cafe Ibis and they actually ask you whether you prefer light or dark roast ( there IS a difference!) and they use local dairy as well. I ordered a crepe here with my coffee and it was fabulous as well. Great service and great coffee! read more

For what's available in Park City, Java Cow is pretty good. Location is phenomenal, and I like their goofy decor. Crepes were pretty good (better since I don't know of anywhere else in PC that serves them), and their coffee was acceptable. read more

I went here and took my little brother to get a smoothie and right when he got it, it slipped out of his hands and they were so rude about getting him another one and only gave him a half a cup of what he had when i paid 6$ for a small strawberry banana smoothie that could be half the price anywhere. Such a cute lil place to camp out, away from the cold weather....an ice cream parlor, java coffee place all rolled into one. My sister loves cow icons and anything cow-related. So I bouhht her a cow plush toy and cow toy shower scrub! They have everything cow related from plush pillows to stickers to magnets, stationery items...so cute! Totally adorable. read more

The dessert crepes and ice cream is amazing! But ironically the coffee is not impressive at all. I ordered a extreme toffee coffee and it tasted like watered down milky coffee. Most of the friends I was with threw out there coffee. I would definitely recommend for some good treats but pass on the coffee. read more

My in-laws were visiting from out of state, and we took them to Java Cow while we were in Park City. Though the place was busy, the staff had the line moving right along, and I didn't think the wait was unreasonable. In addition, two people behind the counter were extra-helpful in figuring out how to make a cookies and cream frap (which, amazingly, they don't have as a standard coffee). The seating was crowded and kind of weird, with people on top of each other, but otherwise it was a nice visit and I would go back. read more

If you have a kid or are looking for a treat while on main street in Park City there are two spots to drop by, Java Cow or Dolly's Bookstore/Rocky Mountain candy shop. This place has interesting ice cream flavors and some great chocolate dipped waffle cone. Cowcrispy crunch is a killer flavor. Eat your cone on the way to the bookstore and buy some homemade chocolates to enjoy at home. Of course this nutrition plan assumes you skied some serious vertical feet or just completed a hike on the mid mountain trail. Java Cow has great lattes and is a good spot in the morning or late night fix of Joe. Good selection of breakfast items not a bad way to go now that Morning Ray closed. During Sundance you might be standing in line with an A list film maker. Enjoy - this is one of Main Streets best affordable spots, and worth a visit as you stroll and shop. read more

The lady at the cash register was also not very friendly, and it would've left a better impression had she been friendlier. Great little shop in the middle of Historic Mainstreet (next to the Banksy)! I have yet to eat any solid food there, but the coffee, hot chocolate (with marshmallow whipped cream!), and ice cream is delicious. The store is very comfortable with a couple of seating areas, the staff is friendly, and I noticed that there is a deal on pastries when you buy them in the evening. Java Cow is a regular stop for our family during our semi-Annual visits to Park City. read more

This place is nestled on Main St. between bars and restaurants and from the outside, looks like any other coffee shop. But as you walk in, you may be surprised to find that it's actually a coffee shop/ice creamery with half the store serving coffee, lattes and baked goods, and the other half serving a variety of ice cream, shakes, and cow-themed knick knacks. I got a small scoop of the pralines and cream ice cream - delicious. And also tried a sample of the peanut butter toffee ice cream, which I liked but wasn't 100% sold on. It's a really quirky, interesting place and the guys scooping the ice cream were really friendly. I'll definitely be going back to try things on the coffee side. read more

I haven't had anything but ice cream and a milkshake here and both were great choices. It's hard to go wrong with their delicious cookies & cream milkshake with chocolate syrup. They keep a clean place located perfectly in the famous Downtown Park City. I highly recommend to stop here for a yummy treat. read more

To be honest, if I could, I'd give it 0 stars. It was very busy which they can't help, but they had "people," which what does that mean, so they could only make one last milk shake. My MILK shake was made with water and little ice cream, it was melted as soon as I got it, and they gave my friend one tiny scoop of ice cream. We waited in line for over half an hour and got terrible service. As we were checking out, they did not ask if we wanted to leave a tip, which who would it was terrible service, and they did not ask us to sign our receipt. Yeah, expensivo! Ice cream is ice cream & this place does nothing to change that. However, they have the most clever t-shirts that satirize/lampoon pop culture with a "Moo" twist, e.g., TMNT, Teenage Mootant Ninja Turtles, Desperate Housewives, Desperate Housecows, etc. Kids love it, but it's ice cream. The hot chocolate was so flavorless- what little there was tasted like Ovaltine. Hubby got some kind of chocolate caramel ice cream which was okay but I could get better at the grocery store. The decor of the store itself is kinda fun, but it's not particularly cozy. read more

I had the strawberry made with coconut milk...great flavor....also bought 2 eclairs....which I gave to the kids that were with me....sign says half off pastries after 4pm....it was 8pm.....I was charged full price and when I asked why, the less than charming counter girl told me hat the eclairs weren't considered pastries...lmao...WHAT???? $3.50 apiece is steep!! whatever....great icecream and atmosphere...but I felt like their posted sign was bullshit.....I hate feeling like I was duped or taken advantage of.....Cold Stone next time! read more
