Especially since I was sitting next to the couple that left two nasty reviews and witnessed what actually happened. I saw how patient, professional, and accommodating the staff were--even in a situation where guests were being difficult and repeatedly asking for additional accommodations. The owner even personally came over, spent time with them, and generously offered complimentary gelato in an effort to make things right. We came on a Sunday afternoon, the place was slammed with a line out the door waiting to order. The cashier even took the time to let us know it would be a 45 minute wait. Despite that, the staff remained kind, attentive, and composed the entire time, which honestly says a lot about the level of service here. Our own experience was wonderful--great atmosphere, attentive service, and you can tell they truly care about their guests. It's disappointing to see negative reviews that don't reflect the full picture. We will absolutely be back.
