Many years ago, after many life changes I moved into this area and this coffee shop was the space that allowed me to enjoy coffee on my own and later coffee with people that are now my close friends. The staff, the people the lattes and the many espressos became something I looked forward to every morning before work. The shop is pleasant, easy, interesting. I've since moved to a different side of town but my occasional visits back to Sambalatte always remind me of why coffee brings people together. I just learned from an employee that this location will be closing its doors permanently later this month. I'm so disappointed. I've been coming here for the last 10 years and it's hard to believe that they will no longer be here. They are always busy when I visit so I was curious what happened. Unfortunately a rental agreement couldn't be made and this plaza will lose yet another great business due to greed. It's so sad. My family and I made a trip here last week on a Thursday morning. The restaurant was not too busy, so we were able to seat ourselves at the front of the restaurant in a bigger seating area. We had 2 vanilla lattes, cappuccino, and hot chocolate. The drinks were all decent and my friend had an apple turnover which he thought was okay. Not sure if we'll make it back this way. Awesome place to work or gather with friends. I've been coming to this location for many years now, from when I was a student to now as a mom and they've been reliable since the get go. The coffee is always explained with education behind it and it makes it truly special. I love the cranberry orange muffin, it's so buttery but still balanced sweetness with a touch of tart, so well paired with a medium roast coffee. Cute little coffee shop/cafe in the north side of the Boca Park shopping area. Music is good, lots of open space, seating is communal. Good variety of breakfast and some lunch options. Tons of drink options. We did our Spring Break reunion brunch here with my former students and the kids enjoyed their sandwiches and drinks. Overall, it's cute and the food is decent. I wish was more of a coffee connoisseur like so many of my friends but I was here specifically to try out their Golden Latte. I absolutely adore this latte but it is so very hard to find as most people are looking for the ultimate coffee. I arrived on a weekday morning and this place was bustling. I was helped kindly by the barista. I love their large coffee cups and mugs which makes the experience so much better than drinking your special drink from a paper or plastic cup. Their offerings for drinks is vast and their coffee comes from Brazil and all around the globe. My Golden Latte arrived and it was good. The barista made a point to walk over and asked if I was enjoying my drink. I found this gesture very kind and helpful. I let her know I should have added a sweetener like honey but my fault for not requesting at the time of my order. In addition to the many drink offerings, they also offer breakfast and lunch to enhance your visit. You may also decide you want to sign up for their coffee club which is a subscription program that delivers a unique selection of coffee beans right to your door each month. Earth tones adorn the walls through out the room inviting warmth and comfort. Plenty of tables inside and outside to sit and enjoy. Upstairs offers another area to study, work or socialize. Parking can be a challenge as they are located inside a large strip mall with many businesses. Tried Sambalatte and it honestly wasn't what I was expecting. The outside seating was probably my favorite part, nice shady patio and a good spot to sit for a meeting. I originally wanted to order while we were outside, but it's more of a walk in and order at the counter type of café. Before leaving, we finally went inside and it was actually really packed. There was only one barista working when we ordered a pistachio roll and a Nutella latte with light ice. The latte was really good and definitely the highlight for me. Unfortunately, the pistachio roll tasted very old and hard to the point it was unappetizing, and we ended up throwing it away. I really like the environment in here. It has really good music, and I like that they have upper and lower seating. It's in a really convenient place, so if you're hungry you can go to one of the many restaurants around. The staff wasn't friendly, but not rude. I got a chai tea latte, it was good, nothing special. The space is attractive and offers a fair amount of seating, though several customers were taking up multiple tables at once, one for sitting, others for bags and laptops, which made seating feel tighter than expected. The baristas were genuinely friendly, efficient, and made excellent drinks in a timely manner. The coffee was easily the highlight of our visit. Food and pastries were less impressive. Items appeared to be reheated rather than made on site, and my croissant came out overly crispy, which is typical of reheating. Stopped in for a matcha latte and a sweet treat around lunchtime. The matcha latte was fantastic and not sweetened. The pistachio roll did not have pistachio flavor at all and I don't even think pistachios in it. The green looked like food coloring and the flavor was just chocolate and powered sugar. Based on how many yelp reviews they got, I can tell right away it's a very popular place to get some coffee. My recent visit (July 3rd, 2025)..... right before starting my fun time in Vegas, I came here to get me a nice delicious ice white mocha. I must say it's a very delicious drink to have on a daily basis. Keep me cool and awake. For indoor seating, I actually had a chance to hang out inside during my 1st visit which was last month. Inside has a cool modern look and the staff was friendly. We ordered the strawberry protein muffin, matcha latte with honey, and red rock latte. I had the matcha, which tasted perfect. I chose the cat bird's seat on the second level. I wish they had single origin options in the drip rotation despite the Nova blend being a very sippable brew. We sometimes buy our beans from this provider, particularly if we are in the mood for a Brazilian bean. The beans run on the pricey side compared to other roaster options in the city. Location at Jones and the 215 is a quieter spot and also has indoor and outdoor seating. You'll need to provide your own jazz. read more

Sambalatte has many awesome things going for it, one of them is that it's been around for a long time which makes it a neighborhood favorite. If you come to Sambalatte often enough you know exactly what you are going to get. I've never had a problem with any of the drinks I've ordered. No matter who makes them they always turn out exactly the same which means they are consistent. And I absolutely love that! I also love the fact that they have plenty of seating at the communal table upfront, booths right by the door and smaller tables to sit at and eat your food. They also have a lounge area and a second communal table upstairs if you want more of a quiet private space. I absolutely love the warm vibes this place has always had and their coffee drinks are always absolutely delicious! Most everybody that comes here is pretty friendly and accommodating. I think my only gripe would be that the pastries could use a little improvement but other than that, I absolutely love Sambalatte! It will always be my absolute favorite coffee shop in town. This cozy coffee shop is AMAZING!!!! It is truly a local gem. Hands down the best coffee shop in town!!! The coffee and lattes here has spoiled me and now I don't like coffee or latte anywhere else. The coffee itself is smooth, never bitter. I always get Nutella latte (it is a MUST TRY) and it's always delicious, very well balanced taste. We have also tried their pastries: pistachio cake and croissant and it is omg delicious. Their food and pastries are made in house. A planned visit! I talked to the Dentist I worked with today and agreed, I needed Sambalatte for great coffee, to fulfill my desire. I hoped for chocolate with red pepper but would settle for an espresso with chocolate of any experience. The barista left me at the counter for 4 minutes while he chatted with a customer that was leaving. He didn't me greet when I walked in. The place was low key chill, 5:45, the patrons were meeting or outside no one except me and this young lady. I heard him compliment her outfit, then her makeup, then her hair. He proceeded to lean on the counter and proceeded to have a short conversation. Although I got a chocolate espresso, this customer care will make me think 2times about stopping in. Had a meeting here this morning with my brokerage. First time visiting this place. The venue has two floors. My team utilized the upstairs area where we had a long roomy table. However, other people still had space to sit around upstairs. The downstairs has even more space but if you're coming here for a meeting, then upstairs is better for that. Before I came here, I checked on YELP to see what are the best coffee flavors and it's obvious that the Nutella and Lavender lattes were the favorite.
