First timer! Loved the amazing selection of coffee. I ended up choosing one of their specialty coffees, an Iced Maple and Brown Sugar Latte with almond milk. It was very yummy but if you like your iced coffee cold make sure to give it a few minutes for the ice to cool it down. The place is cozy with some pretty great staff. Be advised, the seating it limited and the lines can get long.

Not from the area wanted a quick bite before hitting the road. The food was delicious I wish I grabbed to breakfast sandwich's! The service was great and the place was small but the food was worth every bite...

javahut is an adorable coffee shop that i would visit over any place in tahoe. the paintings and decor are perfect for chic pics with your fav drinks. but the pictures aren't the only upside, because they have such a wide variety of creative and delicious drinks. this includes dairy free milk options, sugar free syrups, and bizarre flavor combinations. the pastries and snacks looked amazing as well, and you can tell they don't skimp on the fillings and toppings. I'm so glad all of the lovely baristas could serve us because they do not disappoint. definitely a key spot for roadtrips or even everyday trips!!

Stopped by before heading back to the Bay Area and was a bit disappointed. The bagels were ok a bit more on the greasy side, they seemed to have changed them because they used to be a bit smaller but full with the bacon egg and cheese. Now the bagels seemed empty like it was pure bagel. Bought 6 and an ice coffee and paid $88!! Seems $12 for each bagel is a bit much!

Dog friendly, friendly barista, fast, good wifi. Sat outside and there was an outlet. Closes early ~2. Coffee got the job done, just got an americano.

    Quaint decor.

What a great coffee shop! The lady working was so kind and friendly too. Stopped here for a quick breakfast and was so pleasantly surprised. The coffee was delicious (raspberry white mocha with oat milk, toffee Carmel latte, coconut mocha), the food was perfect (vanilla waffles, egg, cheese, bacon croissant), and service was exceptional and with a smile! The barista informed me that the croissants are made in-house, whereas the bagels were not. I am so glad I opted for my breakfast sandwich to be on a croissant bc it was perfectly buttery and flakey. I also loved the cozy, quaint vibe of the inside. Definitely will be returning when I am in the area.

Rolled in to JH around 1 and got properly caffeinated post haste. Great goods. Great services. Inventive sweet coffees if you're into such things

Great food and lovely drink options to choose from! A bit pricey, but that's to be expected in Tahoe.

An excellent coffee shop right by the lake. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming & the staff couldn't be more genuine and kind. We came with a large group & they were cranking out the lattes at lightening speed. The coffee was excellent & very reasonably priced ($5 per latte about). They also lots of pastries and other beverage options. I would definitely come back!

A small cafe with such kind service! I tried the Breakfast Bagel with Bacon, Egg, and Cheese (3/5, bagel itself was alright, as a whole delicious but quite greasy), a Bear Claw Pastry (4/5), and Chocolate Croissant (3/5). We bought just the breakfast bagel and they added the last two pastries which really added to my day! They were super nice here, and I'd come again to try their drinks as well.

This little hidden gem is SO cute! We got a breakfast bagel and a breakfast croissant, both of which were fantastic. I tried the caramel toffee latte and that was also really good. The owner (I think) is so sweet and welcoming, and the interior is very cozy!

Stopped here EVERY morning of the trip because it was THAT good!!! The staff is so kind and always has the best recommendations. The breakfast sandwiches? Unreal. And the blueberry muffin was honestly the best I've ever had. There's cute outdoor seating, or you can take your coffee and walk across the lot to enjoy the water views--perfection.

Super long line, food extremely greasy. They got my drink order wrong and charged us extra for flavor but didn't include it.

It's not easy getting vegetarian food in this town, so we are so happy to have such a tasty breakfast option at this adorable and cozy cafe. Thank you, Ana, for making these pockets of joy!

You have no idea what allergies people may have. ---- so arrived around 10 am on a Sunday to a line out the door, it took about 25 minutes to get to the front. I ordered the breakfast tacos with no pico and no guac repeating that I just wanted the meat cheese and egg, and the woman taking my order repeated it. The receipt reflected the correct order (no pico, extra cheese, etc) Food came out approximately 15 minutes later and I opened the styrofoam box to reveal pico de gallo plopped on top of my two tacos. I immediately told the guy bringing the food out that they weren't supposed to have pico, and he took them back. He then called out the tacos no pico pretty quickly and I took them outside to my table, opened them... seeing cilantro and some onions leftover. So, you just scraped it off? I'm just so shocked at this. I understand it's busy but you cannot cut corners like this. I paid for this meal so it's very confusing. My husband then took them back and brought out the correct tacos. These tacos were good. Pulled pork, eggs, cheese. They didn't skimp on ingredients. The homemade corn tortillas were great. As I said, it would have been 4 stars had they not thought it was appropriate to just scrape it off the top. I DO think it would be worth it to give them another chance, it is clearly a popular place. Dog friendly patio.

Clean and comfortable, with a lot of eclectic and funny signs throughout. Feels more like a quick meal spot than somewhere you'd stay a while. Service was good. Everyone was friendly and things ran smoothly. We had the tuna summer roll, fried gyoza, shoyu ramen, and tonkatsu ramen. The summer roll was fresh but pretty standard. The gyoza had a nice crisp, but the filling was just okay. The shoyu ramen was light but a little flat, and the tonkatsu ramen was richer but didn't really stand out. Prices felt a bit high for the quality, but that's pretty typical for Tahoe and tourist areas. Overall, it's a convenient option with good service.

I am a business woman so I show lots of patience especially when there was a new server definitely doing her best. We were seated off to a corner again no worries gave some privacy. Food delicious loved the ramen husband and I tried two different ones and we both very much enjoyed them. I loved the cucumber salad surprisingly my husband did too usually he doesn't like that sort of thing like vinegar cucumber etc but he definitely appreciated this one sweet and tangy. Tried two rolls Togo the mango one my husband was very hesitant due to past experience but family enjoyed including my husband. Husband and I both go Thai tea Boba and that was the best way to end the night. Definitely recommend, they also gave us complementary mochi ice cream and edamame due to the mix up and wait which we appreciated.

However, my current opinion stands as mediocre at best. Ambience is cozy and old-school, borderline needing a deep clean. I ordered the Lumaconi, it tasted fine. But one of the problems with this restaurant is how the food is plated and presented. You can see from most pictures that it lacks visual appeal. My sister ordered the lasagna. It was interesting that the meat inside was a sliced meatball. I don't know what to say about that. Lastly, my niece ordered Angel hair pasta. I would venture to guess that they boiled a whole box and dumped that same portion into her bowl. Way too much pasta and lacking balance with the few scattered tomatoes and protein, of what looked to be a boiled chicken breast. Wishing we could have visited here in its prime. If you visit, you definitely won't be dazzled, but it's possible that you might not be disappointed.
