This is my favorite coffee house in the Atascocita/Humble area. I swear by their Americano! It can get really busy on the weekends, which is a testament to how awesome it is. They also have great beignets and both savory and sweet crepes. My husband and I usually just share one crepe because of how big they are. Went in for the first time today. Kind of dingy on the inside. Ordered coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Waited a long time for both. The two behind the counter were polite and attentive. They need some assistance. Two can't do it all. The daily roast or blend coffee wasn't too good. Not much coffee taste but to be fair, I'm a French or Italian roast coffee guy. And I used to live in Seattle. There are many little coffee roasting places there to enjoy without going to Starbucks. Not saying I won't be back, but not a "must go" place either. read more

Finally able to try this place out, after living in the area forever, and was NOT disappointed!!! I had the Nutella Crepe, and a Vanilla Latte. Both packed with smooth flavors of deliciousness!! Friendly atmosphere, and very kind staff. Word of advice; Carry wet-naps with you due to the pound of powdered sugar on the crepe (not a bad thing), and be prepared for a crowd at mid-morning hours....(also not a bad thing). This is our weekend breakfast place! Amazing coffee and several choices. And of course, great crepes and beignets! The service is friendly and usually fast even when busy. Always a great way to begin the weekend and something unique besides the traditional breakfast places. Since we go here almost weekly, would be great to maybe have a seasonal or rotating crepe to give more options (like lemon butter, cinnamon sugar, blueberry, orange marmalade) to regular patrons. First timer to Javaman Coffee! I needed a lunchtime pick-me up before the Texans game on Sunday and wanted to try something new (aka NOT starbucks). There was only one other couple inside when I stopped by. Due to the heat, I was in the mood for an iced coffee drink. I walked up to the counter and was asked if this was my first time there. I told him yes, and Mark immediately introduced himself and welcomed me to their establishment. He explained that their coffee is stronger than regular and asked what I was in the mood for. I ended up getting an iced coffee toddy with sugar free chocolate flavoring and skim milk. A medium came out of a little of 4 bucks which is pricey for a coffee, but it was good. Definitley better than Starbucks, I find their iced coffee bitter. Being almost closing time (they close at 1 on Sundays), they had only a couple muffins and few types of cookies left behind the counter. They all looked delicious, but I had to pass...this time. Will have to go back to try their beignets they have on Saturdays. I love to support local businesses and I will for sure be a repeat customer. Just had the best coffee and food ever! The crepe was perfect and the coffee is always great been going there since they opened . If any thing they have improved every year that they have been opened. The service and food choices have grown over the years. What I like about the coffee is Mark the owner roast his own beans and has a house blend that is my favorite. The food is cooked fresh everyday and from scratch, they added crepe's about a year or so ago , they have sweet and savory ones. My favorite food item is the snickerdoodle cookie ! The coffee was good, the chocolate chip cookie was mediocre, and the service was complicated. Although I got my coffee with a smile, it took a little too long. Throughout my time I had to endure a male employee (the owner?) loudly criticizing the other employees and loudly greeting women only as they entered. I also couldn't avoid hearing a woman employee coyly arguing with a few customers. The bathroom had 4 dead tiny roaches in the floor. The wifi worked well, and I had access to a plug. I'm on the verge of 2 stars, but honestly there aren't many options out here so I'll probably return. read more

I went this morning at opening to grab me and my father beignets and also grabbed a savory crepe. Both were excellent per usual but what really sells me is how nice the owners are. I wanted to buy their espresso and when the batista asked Mark at what fineness to grind the beans he came out, greeted me and remembered my face! We spoke (read: joked) about my cheap espresso machine and how a good machine should actually work. In short: the pastries both savory and sweet hit the spot and the espresso was devine!
