Is this the hidden gem Humble/Atascocita has been missing? Absolutely. We started with the fried green tomatoes, which were topped with a delicious sauce and battered and seasoned to perfection. For our main course, we ordered the brisket skillet, loaded with potatoes, mushrooms, spinach, onions, peppers, chicken, and bacon. It was packed with flavor, though I had to add a little picante sauce because that's just my thing. Next, we tried the fried grits and shrimp and added a side of catfish. Let me just say the catfish was incredible. And the fried grits? I had never had them before, and they completely set the bar high. The mimosas were perfectly made, the service was impeccable, and the owner was warm and welcoming. Overall, this was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The fried free tomatoes were good and that's sometimes hard to find. Sauce was good. Actually ate them with the egg. Liked it. Would do again. Ordered coffee too. Their coffee is deeply roasted. Used a lot of creamer and couldn't get past a medium color. Wasn't bad but not for me. My breakfast date ordered the biscuit and it was good. Tasted like a good homemade biscuit. It was big! We def checked our neighbors plates. One ordered the shrimp and grits. He said it's what he gets each time. Shrimp looked pretty large and it has a brown gravy. I love shrimp & grits. This was such an incredible brunch experience! Literally every single thing was fabulous. We had a group of 5, and we all tried each other's food. Faves were the deviled egg quattro (beautiful presentation and all 4 were super tasty,) the crab cake was one of the best i've ever had (almost all crab meat and very little filler with a scrumptious aioli,) the scratch made biscuit with blueberry compote was a showstopper. I came for brunch on Saturday around 10:30am. We were seated right away, the waitress and host were friendly. The chef came over introduced himself and asked about our food that was nice. The place was clean and pretty for pictures. However the food was average. My waffle is thin and the chicken wings are the smallest I have ever seen. The meal was priced at $24 which is average for Houston area prices but the food doesn't match the prices . It was so small and not filling. The taste was ok nothing that stands out. I just had orange juice and water. I will not they also do not take cash I tried to pay with it so that's something to note if you go. I'm a foodie so a cute spot is not enough for me I want good food and the portion should match the prices. This does not. The three stars was for the service and cleanliness which I appreciate. My husband and I have been to Brunch and Bloom twice and we've throughly enjoyed it. I confidently say this place is a little hidden gem It feels relaxed and easy. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly hostess, told us it would be a wait, but within 5 minutes we were seated. Our waitress was lovely & very attentive! My husband, son, and I visited today to try this restaurant. We were greeted and seated fairly quickly, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill once the food was served. When our meals were brought out, mine was missing. I waited about 20 minutes while my husband and son ate so their food wouldn't get cold. During this time, I was offered a free mimosa twice, which I declined. When my food finally arrived, my side order was incorrect. At that point, I was frustrated and ready to leave. I ate a small portion and requested a to go box so we could go since my family had already been waiting. While waiting for my food, I noticed what appeared to be the owner(s) walking in and out of the dining area. I saw them speak with our waitress, who pointed toward our table, yet no one came over to acknowledge the situation or apologize. Although our waitress informed us that our bill would be discounted, I shared with her that a personal acknowledgment from management would have meant much more. After paying and leaving, a team lead came out to the parking lot and offered a free meal for a future visit. While I appreciate the gesture, I won't be returning. Not everyone is looking for free items or discounts. A simple apology and direct communication from leadership would have gone a long way and likely earned a repeat customer. I hope this new business improves how customer concerns are handled moving forward. read more

They forgot to take an item off our total and had to charge me twice after a refund. The mimosa was good.
