Service was amazing and made sure everything was good. Regular restaurant price about $18 for a plate The food was pretty good and filling. It was warm in there on a cold day. There was lots of decorations and it was fun. I would go again!

This rating was based on the Javiers burrito alone but sevice, smiles and promptnesxs boxes were all checked off! They did my sausage breakfast burrito "Christmas style" smothered red and green chile, so life was pretty complete after this morning. I also hope they enjoy a long life for representing Hispanic cultures through food and not let Tennyson Street glide into a cultureless vacuum independent of any connections to the people from Mexico and Spain that have been in Colorado a very long time. A burrito should be the state official cuisine.

Great service. Tasty food. The chips and salsa were top notch. Cool, laid back in this diner.

    My son loving his plate!!

The food is always great! There has never been one dish that has disappointed me! My son loves coming here for the smiley face pancake breakfast. The service has always been great every visit. The staff in the whole facility make you feel like home, and always have a positive additude. The environment is always cozy. I live how they always have the dining area decorated for every holiday!

Great ambiance. We sat on the patio. The city sounds are effervescent. Love the fountain and the potted flowers. Can't smell the city. Food was on point and strongly recommend the house marg

We are 4 months new to Denver, we've explored a few restaurants in our area off of Tennyson in Berkley. We decided upon this place for breakfast and what a good choice that was! Upon approach, I was a bit hesitant as the menu pics in the window were a bit faded However......, the food was incredible! Everything was very tasty and flavorful, the chips and salsa was fantastic and our service was sooooo genuine, attentive and kind! The interior is authentic/ typical of what I would expect in Az- nothing fancy however, we are already planning a dinner here with incoming family next week. If you want great tasting food, not expensive, kind people.... Make the choice to come here.

"What are we celebrating?" and "can I take your picture?" was just the beginning of a great dining experience here at Javier's. It was a beautiful Saturday morning so we opted for sitting outside where there was significant seating options. They have a video running showcasing their food, which influenced us to get the molcajete and I tell you, it did not disappoint. Filled to the brim with different meat options, cactus, jalapeño and green onion (I wish there could have been more of the cheese) and a tangy sauce made it so delectable. And my personal fave, it came with rice, beans, cheddar cheese, guac and sour cream. The service was so friendly and they really cared about your experience and that everything was up to par, including if the salsa was too spicy (grandmas sauce that is). The only thing to note is that their parking lot is a little tight for how busy it appears they get and the amount of seating inside so be patient or plan to walk from a side street.

Really good Mexican breakfast. Their salsa is spicy but very flavorful. I liked their rice and beans a lot too. Our server was nice and efficient.

The description for the nachos stated that guacamole, sour cream and jalapeno peppers were included. They were not.

We got takeout brunch from here a few weekends ago and it was DELICIOUS and the portions were HUGE! The service was also great as they labeled all of our food correctly (we have wheat allergies) and swiftly! This is a great place for a classic comforting brunch. We got the country fried steak (I'm from KY so I know good gravy) and the chilaquiles con huevos. Both were delicious!

If you're looking for a delicious Hispanic meal in Tenneyson area, I highly recommend checking out this spot! My experience here was fantastic from start to finish. The breakfast enchiladas were the highlight of my meal - smothered in green chile and eggs, they were bursting with flavor and absolutely delicious. My boyfriend's breakfast burrito was equally impressive - it was huge and filled to the brim. One of the best things about this restaurant is their large patio, which is perfect in the summer. It's a great spot to enjoy a meal and soak up some sunshine while you're at it. We were there when someone was celebrating their birthday, and the staff got everyone singing along - it was such a fun and memorable diner. I was also pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to wait long for a table, even though it was 11:00 am on a Sunday - a rarity in the brunch scene! Cant wait to go back.

The fried chicken plate, although hefty, was mediocre. The chicken was not all that flavorful and also dry. The biscuit though with butter and jam hit the spot! My wife and I stopped into Steuben's to have a snack (donut holes) and a couple of rounds of cocktails. We used the Dining Out Passbook for BOGO cocktails with purchase of food. Our bartender (who was perfectly friendly and helpful) said he needed his manager to get the free cocktail. To be clear, we had literally no interaction with this woman at any point. So it's not like we did something to piss her off. When she arrived at the POS station - behind the bar about six feet from where we were sitting - she proceeded to complain about the "a-holes" (edited for language) using the Passbook and what a bunch of a-holes those customers were (not knowing we were in earshot). And when the bartender - who knew who we were and that we could hear everything - said in a hushed tone "No, they were nice" she proceeded to tell him that she didn't care and that they're just a-holes. I've never been treated so shoddy in my life in a restaurant for no other reason than using a promotional discount that they voluntarily participated in. It's bad enough to attack your customers for using a discount. But doing it behind the bar where customers can hear you is beyond unacceptable. And doing it when the customers you're talking about are within earshot is the most offensive thing I've ever expereinced at a restaurant. You may go to Steuben's and have a nice meal, but just be aware that behind the bar, they're talking about what an a-hole you are.

This is the spot for delicious omelettes and milkshakes wrapped in yesteryear nostalgia. If I lived in the Denver metro, I would make this a regular weekend spot. I'm certain many in Colorado are well aware, but I extend the recommendation to my fellow out-of-towners. Have a cup of cofffee, omelette, and maybe a milkshake; you might leave stuffed full, but not upset. I enjoyed a Greek Omelette and a cup of coffee while my wife ordered biscuits and gravy. Prompt service and warm dishes, a great morning prep for the long drive ahead. Stop by if you're in the Denver area. I wouldn't mind another meal the next time we end up in Colorado.

While this joint isn't fancy, they are doing it right. Reminds me of my childhood days when you could take the whole family out to eat for less than $30, and you're eating GOOD! The cinnamon roll is a must-get. The roundhouse meal was fantastic. The chef even came out to make sure we were enjoying everything. Old-fashioned pricing and hospitality FTW! Later I asked AI to find me a great breakfast spot that wouldn't break the bank, and this place was the number one recommendation. Holy shit... this is one of the best breakfasts, if not the best breakfast I've ever had. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The pancakes were warm, fluffy, and so good they honestly had me wanting to come back every single morning. They're also famous for their homemade cinnamon roll, and now I know why. It was absolutely massive, covered in butter, and did not dissapoint. The real secret star though is the breakfast burrito. Stuffed with meat, eggs, hash browns, and cheese, then topped with their homemade green chili gravy. Holy moly... that gravy is a work of art. I don't even know how to describe it other than I wanted to drink it. The flavor is unbelievable. I ended up eating breakfast here every day of our trip, which is something I literally never do while traveling because I like trying different places. Now here's the crazy part... the prices. This place feels like home and the prices match. I honestly can't remember the last time I saw breakfast this affordable. It feels like stepping back 10 or 15 years. Five people could have a filling breakfast here for about what two people would spend at First Watch or a lot of the trendy breakfast places. The staff was friendly, the food came out fast, and the whole place just has that comfortable local diner feeling that is getting harder and harder to find. Overall, I'll be eating here every single time I visit Denver no matter how far out of the way it is. This place is a national treasure and needs to be protected at all costs. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to spend way too much time trying to recreate that green chili gravy at home... I already know I won't get it right, but I'm gonna try anyways.
