This place is absolutely amazing. Their tortillas and tortilla chips taste homemade and are a great addition to the asada that we had on our tacos and nachos. The food was so great I had to go back for a second round of tacos. The people are very nice and very welcoming. Ordered an asada burrito supreme and received a regular burrito (no sour cream) instead. Aside from the mix up, it was still pretty good. A little on the dry side (which could've been fixed if it had came with the sour cream I ordered), but I can't complain too much. I think they melt the cheese onto the tortilla, which made for good distribution and cheese in every bite. Will be back to try their asada fries! read more

I love Javi's tacos!! I really like when taco trucks use yellow corn tortillas. They're my favorite so this place is up there just for that reason. A little disappointed they no longer offer the breakfast burrito however the regular burrito was okay my friend for the quesadilla and she loved it even went back for seconds! Very clean and staff is on it. read more

OM-FREAKING-GOODNESSSSSSS!!!! Am I thrilled to have rolled across the reviews of this new Taco Truck, that is located on the south side of Turlock! Everything on their FaceBook page looks amazing, so I sent the hubby over, to get a sampling of different things. We picked up a couple of the chicken tacos, Javi Fries with chicken, I had a "veggie" supreme burrito and he had a carne asada supreme burrito. We started with the tacos...FLAVOR abound in each and every bite! I wish I had bought more than the two...lol, because I could have easily eaten two or three! Only having the one, that was a cruel teaser on my part! Then I went with the Javi fries and just for the record....I am not really a french fry person....but I was really impressed and devoured just over half of the fries. Each and every bite has so much flavor and the fries were holding up, which was just awesome! Hubby was eating his burrito, while I worked on the fries and all I could hear from him was grunts and little sounds of happiness, as he swallowed down the entire thing....and the burritos are not small!!! I then handed him the rest of the fries, because I hit my limit...I was full and I didn't get a chance to eat my burrito...but I did manage to take a bite, before putting it away for lunch tomorrow, and it is also just amazing and flavorful! I really can't wait until lunch tomorrow! We are now thrilled to have found this little hot spot of flavor! It will become our new obsession and I can guarantee that we will be visiting often! read more

I grew up eating authentic Mexican food at home. Hard to beat my moms cooking. I've generally avoided eating tacos as they aren't at the top of my list of favorite foods. After eating at this place I'm a fan. Truthfully I probably will only eat them at this establishment. They were authentically delicious. I have tried almost all the trucks between modesto and atwater. Since I currently live in Turlock, I was sick and tired of getting sub-par burritos that looked more like a wrap than they did a full burrito. Elvas and Silvas used to give generous portions for the same price but have since resorted to lowering their standards for portions while retaining the same price point. enough was enough for me and I got on Yelp and checked to see what else was in the area and this place caught my eye and also happened to be new. Call me a burrito snob but I can tell right away if I got my money's worth by the weight and I knew right away it was going to be at least a decent burrito, not to mention the burrio surpremes are only $6 vs $7 to $7.50 the other guys charge for less portions! But its when I bit into this burrito that it exceeded my expectations! The flavor was amazing and the crunch from the outside of the tortilla being grilled properly was amazing! I came to Turlock to buy a car, but when I pulled up to the car lot on the corner of Glenwood and Lander I had realized I could not part ways with my 1998 Toyota Camry (mainly because the car is under my moms name so she has to be there) so I figured I get my belly filled with some delicious eats. Now when I it comes to taco trucks, I strongly believe that the auto industry is behind the idea of putting burritos on wheels but did not think it through when it came to having taco trucks stationed in set locations. Probably government oversight, Im not sure but that is one reason why I do not vote on odd years. Where was I, oh yes, I saw that where the car lot was at, there was a taco truck. Something was telling me to come eat there (the "sign" in the window?) so I ordered the Buffalo fries and wow wee they sure are scrumptious! Whoever thought of combining buffalos and fries needs to get an emmy or some kind of attendance award cause dang its just hard to believe that you can fit so much flavor in one plate, let alone in one box on four wheels! Try the California burrito you won't be disappointed. No beans or rice but it has French fry's on it. I had them add sour cream. The meat, cheese, guacamole, fry's, sour cream, and salsa was even from the beginning to the end. With just enough heat. Very good!!! read more

We were driving Napa to Lancaster and I saw this place 45 minutes out. I called and placed an order to go. It was ready and hot when we got there to pick it up. This is my favorite taco truck in Turlock. While they do have the normal taco truck food such as tacos, burritos, and Jarritos, they also make and put their own twist on the authentic foods. They make delicious and refreshing agua fresca in flavors like cucumber, melon, and strawberry. They have foods for the pickiest kids, like bacon wrapped hot dogs and asada fries. Taco Tuesdays are my favorite days of the week, when tacos are a dollar each this day. For a large family, this day is our favorite! This has to be one of Turlock's best taco trucks! The girl who took my order was super sweet. They did add beans to my burrito when I ordered none, but it was so good that is definitely didn't matter. Meat was nice chunks, not too big, not too small. Will be coming here more often. read more
