We come from Elkhart to buy our meats and specialty items. We love how many selections of pop and beer they carry. We always walk out with 3 cases of "Goodies".Their meats are delicious of some of the best beef pork and chicken around. Their brats and sausage is the best around. We stock up on their Polish sausage around Dingus Day for the next 6 months. No one else around makes it like they do. We also LOVE their B-B-Q. So make the drive it's so worth it. read more

Had the pierogi burger. Not bad the pierogi I had was cottage cheese. It was delicious. I totally enjoyed it. Only recommendation I could make is to use meat from Kielbasa, the pierogi was huge. Totally different. read more

I visited here again after Christmas. Staff was wearing masks. Still seems they don't care as much about them but the gentleman who assisted me was Incredibly friendly. Also they were open on a Sunday which is a plus. read more

Great place with great prices and selection. Must visit if your animals are on a raw diet as they have selections for a balanced diet! I also enjoy how they allow their customers that have a medical condition to be able to not wear a mask and still enter their store (I guess this is now a thing to be reviewed upon as if their quality of meat fluctuates based on it) !!! Messaged them a few times about a specific meat product. Was told it would be in that very day and could be ready the next day. Came in when they opened the next day to find they never had any at all. Said I could come back later, but it's a 30 minute drive for me and I have company coming. Pressed them and they made some calls and said the truck was 15 miles away. Waited for a full hour for it to arrive only for them to tell me it wasn't on the truck. Two hours wasted, gas wasted and massively frustrated. I had to push on messenger just to get them to even apologize for it. Never again. read more

Great selection of meats, barbecue-related sauces, rubs, etc. Lots of Polish specialties, including Tyskie beer. BUT hardly anyone, workers or customers, wore a mask. The sign on the door had some dismissive language about government edicts to wear masks. We got a smoked turkey from Jaworski's for Christmas. We called them the Tuesday before and they were nice enough to set one aside for us and let us pick it up Christmas Eve. Thanks to a mix-up in who-was-bringing-what, we actually had 2 smoked turkeys for Christmas - one bought local at Jaworski's, one bought online. The one bought online was twice as much and half the quality. Jaworski's was more tender, more flavorful, it was so delicious. And so much cheaper! The shop itself is really cute. They had lots of homebaked goods for the holidays. Plus there are a ton of really legit homemade Polish and meat goods. Plenty of homemade food that is frozen ready to eat. They have a popcorn popper churning out fresh popcorn to munch on while you shop. This place is adorable, the workers are kind and helpful, and the selection is great quality - check it out! read more

Don't ever use this company for catering!!!!! They absolutely ruined my event and then hung up the phone on me when I called them out on it. I called 3 different times to order food, pay my deposit, and pay my bill in full and talked to 3 different people about the day and time I needed the food ready. The day of my party, my brother went to pick up the food at the time it was supposed to be done and my food wasn't ready. Apparently it was prepped, but hadn't been heated up. He got there at 12:45. My party started at 2:00 and was supposed to end at 4:00. Jaworski's was 35 minutes away from where my venue was, which I was paying $75 an hour to rent. They ended up express cooking the food, and when my brother finally arrived at 2:45 with my food, it was absolutely nasty. I didn't get a full pan of mashed potatoes. They were burnt to the pan and absolutely dry. Noodles and sausage were dry. Chicken tasted like rubber. People didn't want to eat the food. When I called the next day to share my disappointment, the owner hung up on me and then had his manager call me back 40 minutes later to say she dropped the ball. After several phone conversations, she said the owner was only willing to refund me $190. I spent around $500 for horrible food and service. I ended up getting refunded for half of the total, but I'm pretty sure he made his manager come up with the remaining money. HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE FOOD, AND A HORRIBLE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS! If you want a smooth party with good food, don't use this place. :( read more

Really first rate butcher and market.We bought some teriyaki jerky and it was really great, nice pieces-probably made from top round. The flavor was excellent-sweet and salty / smoky. The place is really clean and everything I saw in the case was a quality cut,nicely trimmed etc. I have heard people complain about prices but I thougbt they were very reasonable for the quality. read more

One of my favorite meat markets, until Covid hit. Like many we stayed away from public places until businesses got used to the new restrictions. I ventured into Jaworski's in July and was surprised to see no masks being worn by ANYONE, not even his staff handling meat, cheese and food items. No sanitizer or wipes and no signage asking masks be worn. I left. Called them 2 weeks later and was informed they were following mandates of the County Health department so I returned. Sign on door disparaging our Government officials for the mandates. Everyone inside had masks on, still no hand sanitizer as required and people were standing next to each other as were staff. I spent over $150 worth of meat and cheeses and went to check out, asked for Chris (owner) and was told he was unavailable but Dave (?) would not take a message. I have been a steady customer for almost 20 years and have even sent him catering business but my future visits will be very limited. read more

Man, I love buying meat at this place. They are very friendly and helpful. The quality of the meat is great. I own a smoker and always buy my meat at Jaworski's to throw on the smoker. They also have hard to find cuts like tri-tip and hanger steak. I would recommend grabbing some of their beef jerky for the ride home. I have never had them cater, but I hear they do a great job from a good friend of mine. read more

Stopped in today and got the Pollock dinner and a cat fish nugget dinner. We also got a side of shrimp alfredo. Lets start with the shrimp. They left the shells on (in the noodles). Thats just lazy. And gross. Now the Pollock. Tasted rubbery and old. They made us wait. Said they were cooking it fresh. No way, microwave. The cat fish nuggets were gamey. The tartar sauce was yellow (gross). I think it had mustard in it (weird). My wife overheard the owner talking to the bread delivery man. The guy was bringing in fresh and removing old. The owner said "just got another order for 13 loaves of bread, just give me the old stuff." Anyway we couldn't eat it. We threw it all away. Even the fries were overcooked and the bread was soggy. Should have listened to my wife she wanted filet o fish at Mcdonalds. read more

Back in the 70's I worked with Chris Jaworski's father and it was he who taught me how to field dress and butcher a deer so I have done my own every year since. In 2016 the weather was to warm for me to hang my deer so I found out about this place from a friend and decided to give them a try at processing my deer. I reintroduced myself to Chris and explained to him that I was rather fussy when it comes to deer processing he responded with "wasn't it my father that taught you how to process a deer well he taught me the same way". My deer was ready in under a week,nicely packaged,labeled and ready for the freezer. I guarantee you I will be taking my next deer to Jaworski's meats for processing. Meat bundle was horrible, they were too lazy to package it properly, placed 4 pounds of pork in one large package, everything was packaged like you were feeding a family of 6. No way could I use that amount of food at one time, total waste of money, so much had to be thrown out. Found the hamburger to be poor quality, lots of fat and grizzle. We catered in their BBQ package for our Labor Day weekend kick off. The meal consisted of Ribs, Chicken, Coleslaw, Au Gratin potatoes, Mac n Cheese, Baked Beans, rolls and butter. It was amazing. I havve bought packages at a couple of other places and none come even close to Jaworski's quality!. Last place I bought meat from (split a 1/2 cow with a friend), didn't use a lot of it because it either had too much fat in it and very little meat or no matter how you cooked it, it was hard to chew. I learned my lesson, I'll never by packages from any other butcher. Jaworski's is the best there is! read more

I can't say enough about Jaworski's Market. Each year we visit our good friends who host us for a Notre Dame weekend. They always go to Jaworski's to buy all their meat for the weekend and we can attest to the quality of each morsel. This year the Jaworski staff went overboard in helping me! While at the store and while the men were getting the meat, I decided to add a pecan pie (also delicious, by the way) to the meal. I inadvertently left my small wallet on the outside bench as the guys were loading their packages. Oops!! I didn't discover my error until the next day. But manager (owner?) had the jump on me. He looked at my ID in the wallet, realized I was a California girl, went on Facebook, found me and alerted me to contact them. Wow! Now, that's service. So in addition to the excellent food they sell, they are excellent people. I look forward to my next Jaworski steak - hopefully next year. Oh yes, and Notre Dame won the game!! read more
