I have gone to Clear Sunset for quite some time now on and off, and they always have done a great job at taking care of my vehicles! I have recommended them many times over to clients that purchase homes in the area and are looking for a place to get their cars taken care of. Very good car wash. They have a lot of options for all budgets. I had the interior detailing done, which came with a "good" level wash through the tunnel. They have loyalty programs, coupons online, memberships, and gift card options (if you have more than one car). I was able to make a same-day appointment for a 1-hr detailing service. I liked that I could vacuum myself if I feel; or have them do the inside detail (for under $100). You are greeted by a cheerful intake employee and given many options off a menu. After entering I-75 I was behind a construction dumpster spewing small pebbles over my car. When I stopped at my destination there were white spots covering my black paint, like concrete or paint. I took the car here and they were honest, thorough and came up with a plan. It took 2.5 hours and lots of work but I was pleasantly surprised. I will return here every time now. After getting my car back, it wasn't dirty but that's about as much as you can expect from this place. On a normal basis when I clean my own car at home, it comes out looking much nicer than when I got my car detailed here. On top of that, the main items I keep in my car were not put back in the trunk of my SUV. I had to go back a couple days later after I noticed to retrieve my things, however my OEM Audi windshield shade couldn't be found. Although that can be replaced, I'm more disturbed that I didn't get a simple apology throughout the whole ordeal. The one upside is that the manager was willing to order a new one if they couldn't locate it within 24 hrs. I'm just hoping it's of the same quality as my original one. read more

This place does a wonderful job with cleaning the interior of both of my vehicles. But this is the third time this has happened. I have no clue if they don't see it or the just don't wash the outside of my car very well. They seem to miss my whole front grill every time. It's not a huge deal because I can wipe it down in 3 minutes. It's just I don't pay 40 bucks to wipe down my own car. read more

Been going to Jax Car wash for more than 5 years. Quality of the wash and a value for their service is second to none! I recently had a small animal gets stuck and die within my air ventilation system. UGH! I had the AC fan motor replaced as well as the interior air filter That's didn't help - the smell in the car remained even after using fragrance spray, Air refreshers and peppermint oil drops on the cabin air filter. My wife would no longer ride in the car. I asked Jax owner Tony Milen for help! (In addition the great car washes - Jax does full detail on my cars inside and out- Outstanding attention to detail) Tony Recommended a new process where they use a special new product to completely clean out the interior as well as the ventilation system! I picked up the car last week and the following day was the first day in two months that my wife would ride in the car in 2 months! It has been a week and a car interior smells brand new! Over the past 10 + years I've been a seasonal customer at JAX. Even moving out of Bradenton , I was willing to drive abut 12 miles to use this car wash. The car wash was (past tense) THE BEST in town not only for the quality of the wash but for seamless customer service. BUT recent managerial changes have changed policies that are disturbing, especially having been a loyal customer for years . As a seasonal member, it was easy to simply walk into the office, advise that I'd be leaving and needed my service paused or restarting my service. A follow up EMAIL was quickly received and service was paused or restored. I attempted to pause my service before leaving in the first week of March. The agent at the desk said I had to go to a web site to pause my service , which I did. Regrettably that didn't work and I left a message to EMAIL me to confirm the changes I wanted to make. I never received the email so I called JAX . I was then informed the PAUSE policy had changed under NEW MANAGEMENT and I'd lose the time left on my account ( about 18 days) and would have to renew my account upon return to Florida at which time I would be reinstated. So the personalization of doing business has deteriorated and policy changes that will certainly have a great deal of effect on seasonal customers will no doubt enter into their decisions to continue to do business with JAX. I regret that I will not go back after my recent experience and after hearing of changes that puts seasonal customers at a unfair disadvantage. Managing seasonal customers is a necessary way of doing business , especially in Florida with the annual migration of visitors in winter months. Also with ALL of the competition of car washes nearby, Id think retention of repeat customers is VERY important. So NEW MANAGEMENT, for what appears to be some BAD business decisions , you've LOST me not only as a LOYAL customer, but someone who has always endorsed your product. I've purchased a six month unlimited car wash for my daughters birthday. When I went in to purchase a gift card for her car washes, the sales person informed me that the best way to do that would just buy her six month unlimited carwashes. But he failed to mention that my card would automatically be charged again $170 in six months to renew the membership. I had no intentions of having a Unlimited Fund as this was only a one time gift. When I called to cancel the membership and get a refund I was informed by management that this was their policy, the renewal had to be canceled within seven days of the charge going through on my card. Even though I was not sent any notification that the renewal was coming up and that I would be charged again. I have been using this car wash since they opened and My entire family has been using this car wash, but this was the first time I had purchased a membership not knowing that it was a renewal from the salesman and he never gave me any indication of the renewal. Manager basically said this is our policy and I'm sorry that is our policy and the 170.00 charge would not be reversed. read more

How is this place always crowded? It usually is but they seem to be fully staffed and hey keep the lines moving. It was recently closed a day for net belts or chamois in the drive through car wash and it's been amazing. I was super reluctant to take a new car through a car wash but I quickly tired of (a) washing the car myself and/or (b) dust and fluff on my car. I'm very happy with the the place. You'll see everything in line here waiting for a wash, from a Mazda to a Maserati. There are several monthly packages and members get an express lane and discounts on upgrades services. Their car wash scratched up my car really bad, they were implementing new spinning drying roller at the end and there was an obvious malfunction because it put a film all over my car, and due the weight of the this roller holding water instead spinning it out caused obvious swirled scratches on the top of my cat. You know what, it's just a car and it's going to get scratches, but the worst part about it is when they come over one by one and instead of owning it, they either just keep saying oh let me go get so and so , and so and so has to go get someone else.
