We communicated via the same number, so they were aware of that we were interested in the same work as before last year (weed removing, trimming of tree shrub) This time, a different employee (H.H.), performed the work. He trimmed the trees and shrubs a bit more quickly than Francisco did, which was not an issue in itself. However, he didn't remove the overgrown roots, but rather just trimmed them, which caused the plants to grow back much faster than before. He also didn't apply any weed killer. After we paid via Zelle, we noticed that our 24-hr security sign had been snapped in half and left on the same spot it was planted. No shrubs were around that area. The employee didn't mention to us at all, but when we asked him what happened, he initially said he didn't know. Only after we saw pictures showing that the sign was intact, he apologized. Additionally, another blue security sign next to our AT&T fiber box was missing. The sign had been in place for months and was clearly visible from the driveway since the shrubs didn't fully cover it. The worker claimed he never saw it. We understand accidents can happen, but the lack of communication and transparency is unfortunate. We are likely moving on to another company.

The first visit cost $1,133 and covered the initial setup and repairs to both my front and back yard sprinkler systems. They did a good job and I was happy with the results. I brought them back a second time for $1,716 to handle wiring, fix some broken sprinkler components in the front yard, and extend the system to cover additional areas. The wiring of both the front and back systems was done perfectly, and I appreciated that part of the work. That said, if you have fruit trees or citrus in your yard, be aware that they do not have the expertise to handle specialized watering needs for those plants. The sprinklers near my fruit trees were set up incorrectly, and a professional arborist I later consulted told me the configuration would overwater the trees. I called OC Sprinkler Doctor to come back and fix the issue, but they never returned my call. Now I am in a position where I will need to hire a professional arborist who also can do landscaping to come back and fix the sprinkler system again, likely at a cost of $3,000 or more, when I am able to afford it. They are reasonably priced and capable of handling standard sprinkler lawn work, but the lack of specialized knowledge around vegetables, fruit trees and citrus trees, combined with the complete silence when I tried to get the issue resolved, may end up costing me far more in the end.
