River's End RV Park: The Place That Ended My Search…read more Five stars isn't enough. I've stayed at some incredible RV parks. I've stayed in places with breathtaking ocean views, beautiful beaches, mountain scenery, and every amenity you could ask for. River's End is different. This isn't a restaurant review. This is an RV park review. And after everything I've experienced since starting RV life, I honestly don't know how anything else is supposed to compete with this place. I thought RV life was going to be about traveling up and down the California coast, constantly searching for the next great destination. Then I found River's End. The first thing that struck me was that people don't come here because they're passing through. They come here because they want to be here. The restaurant is packed. The patio is packed. There are classic cars, motorcycles, families, dogs, live music, and people sitting around enjoying themselves. It feels less like a business and more like a gathering place. You can feel it the moment you arrive. Everyone is happy. That sounds simple, but it's surprisingly rare. Most RV parks are places where people park. River's End is a place where people gather. People stay longer than they planned. Conversations start between strangers. People laugh. They relax. They enjoy themselves. The atmosphere is impossible to fake. The food is outstanding, but if the food were the only attraction, people wouldn't drive all the way out here just to spend an afternoon. They're coming for the experience. And what an experience it is. The property itself is beautiful. Mature trees, open space, rolling hills, a creek running through the grounds, and one of the most unique environments I've ever encountered. But what makes River's End special isn't the scenery. It's the feeling. For someone living the RV life, spending long stretches of time on the road, you notice the difference immediately. Some places are beautiful but feel empty. Some places are convenient but forgettable. River's End feels alive. It's one of those rare places where you look around and realize nobody wants to leave. One thing that may help future visitors: If you're looking for RV reservations, don't stop at the restaurant information. That's what almost happened to me. The restaurant gets plenty of attention online, but the RV park deserves just as much. For RV reservations: 661-888-4272 RiversEndRVPark.com I've traveled to a lot of places. I've stayed in some beautiful places. I've stayed on the ocean. I've stayed in the mountains. I've stayed at places people dream about visiting. But I've never found anything quite like River's End. I thought I was going to spend years searching for my favorite RV destination. Instead, I found it. For me, this isn't just another stop on the journey. It's the destination.

Well I just can't get on board with River's End after our experience. If you look at my history of…read moreYelp reviews, it is apparent I work hard at supporting businesses and giving honest feedback. In terms of River's End, I did have high hopes. The Good: Easy to make reservations. The hostess was very welcoming. The bus boys were helpful and pleasant. Out server, Sky was very friendly and accomodating. She offered to give us separate checks which was appreciated. We were a party of 5 in need of 3 checks. The Menu has a great assortment of offerings. The Not So Good: Memorial Day Weekend and short staffed. We came for the brisket and they were low on brisket. It was only available as a sandwich or 50/50 plate. All of our meals came out COLD. Not only was the mac & cheese cold but it was underseasoned. The trip-tip was over done and very dry and tasteless. The cornbread was doughy and undercooked. The woman who brought out our food was not our server, Sky. That woman was somewhat of a smarty pants complaining we did not know our own orders. However the problem was that NONE of the plates had the right sides. One of the 50/50 plates supposedly had brisket and tri-tip but the brisket was a pile of shredded meat of some sort and we could not tell what it was. She was down right rude. They ran out of onion rings but failed to tell the servers and substituted fries without asking what we wanted in place of the onion rings. They didn't even hold back some onion rings for the Bear Burger which includes an onion ring, an enticing reason to order the Bear Burger. I have no problem paying for a good meal, but these meals were not worth the money. It is very likely this could have been just an off day. What I can tell you is that regardless of the situation, I am always courteous and appreciative of all workers in the restaurant world. Since there are many positive reviews, give them a try and hopefully you will have a different experience than we did.

Lucille's in Valencia is fantastic! My husband and I just left after having really delicious meals,…read moreand it was so good that we ordered a pulled pork sandwich and barbecue chicken salad to go for lunch tomorrow. Our dinner started out with scrumptious biscuits with honey butter, I had a delicious drink from the bar that was berry flavored on top, and limeade with melon on the bottom. It was beautiful and so tasty! Our meals were a barbecue tri-tip sandwich with fries, and a 3 meat meal (pulled pork, pulled chicken, and tri-tip) with mac & cheese and I added veggies. All of it was so good, and we kept commenting that the food was more of an experience than just eating to fill up. Dillon, our server, was awesome, too. He definitely helped make our meal especially wonderful. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and offered great recommendations. I'm excited to dive into all of the yummy leftovers later tonight!

I love barbecue, but I have a burning hatred for the Santa Clarita Valley, since, to my knowledge,…read morethere are about as many barbecue restaurants in Santa Clarita as there are people who would want to date me. Of the few that exist, Lucille's is certainly one of them. I used to feel something when I went here, as their menu is quite extensive and their portions large. The past few times I have gone, however, the pulled pork has been really dry, and the service lackluster. I long for the good old days. The last time I went convinced me never to go again, as the server treated me like I was his senile grandpa who he dropped off at a nursing home and left behind. Worst of all, they did not give me the warm towels after I finished that I love so much. They DIDNT GIVE ME THEM. I miss those warm towels. I might as well have burst into tears right there on the spot, especially after being handed the check. How I held myself together, we'll never know. With no warm towels to clean them, I walked out of Lucille's with my hands dirty, but the waiter's hands were dirtier, covered is lies, deceit, and neglect.

Meats I tried personally were all the Bulgogi's, brisket, thin pork belly, marinated meats. Didn't try chicken personally but if the other meats were good then you already know. It has a really good atmosphere and they constantly have sports on the tv. Robots come to serve you when the servers can't and it's quite funny. That said, service itself is still amazing! All in all, I had a good time here and they didn't make a fuss about us going slightly over the 90 min time limit. Package A - 29.99

The sides were good. I wish there was a potato salad though. It is one of my favorites. The service was great! The staff was very communicative and I wanted to highlight Amanda G. She definitely hears every order you make no matter what you throw or how complex. She will explain things clearly, calmly, and warmly. Case in point: soybean soup One of my party members inquired about the status. She knew that this would take longer than order usual orders of meat and communicated that to us in a nice way. Amanda was also very helpful with grill changes and bringing out items. Wonderful hospitality!
