Well it's been a month since I purchased my camper... I will say the sales person that I work with David, was pretty good. He had great communication. Though I was a bit irritated as I had to go back and have to resign my loan paperwork. Not his fault. But needless to say annoyed. Another thing was that the walk through was awful. The guy that I was suppose to explain how things worked went through it in a hurry. We are allocated am hour to go over things and he went through things in 15 mins. My husband and I visited Camping World in Morgan Hill today because we're seriously interested in purchasing an RV. Unfortunately, our experience was so disappointing that we left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. When we arrived, we explained to the receptionist that our daughter had just called and needed to be picked up from work, so we only had about 25-30 minutes to look at a few RVs and compare layouts. We were initially told it was optional to leave our ID and contact information. We politely declined, but after that, the salesperson's attitude noticeably changed. We eventually agreed to provide our names and phone number, but he already seemed frustrated that he had to assist us. Throughout the tour, my husband asked several basic questions about the differences between layouts, sizes, and RV brands. Instead of providing helpful information, the salesperson repeatedly responded with comments like, "They're all the same," and often ignored questions altogether. It became so uncomfortable that I told my husband in Spanish that I felt we should leave because the salesperson appeared irritated and unwilling to help us. The situation escalated when my husband asked one final question about the differences between two groups of RVs. The salesperson became confrontational and told us we were "wasting his time" because there were "paying customers" in the office who were actually interested in buying. That comment was extremely insulting. We came to Camping World because we are interested in purchasing an RV. No customer should be judged based on how much time they spend looking or whether they immediately disclose their purchasing plans. We asked to speak with a manager. The salesperson went to get him while loudly telling his version of the story to him first. Manager Eric Boyd (had no badges claiming he was infact the manager ) he spoke with us. I asked if we could discuss the matter privately, but instead we were taken to a table in the front office where employees, including the salesperson, could still hear our conversation, despite there appearing to be a private office available. I explained everything that had happened and expressed how disrespectfully we had been treated. I was disappointed that the manager never said that the employee's behavior was unacceptable or would be addressed. I had to tell him several times to please address the situation with this employee which was walking around us so casually like he did nothing wrong , that lack of accountability to have his employee do such thing and not apologize was just as upsetting as the salesperson's conduct. I left feeling that we had been judged before we were ever given a chance as customers. While I can't know exactly why we were treated this way, the experience left me feeling as though we may have been unfairly profiled based on appearances rather than treated like potential customers. Buying an RV is a major investment, and every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of whether they're browsing, asking questions, or ready to buy that day. Unfortunately, our family did not receive that respect, and because of this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Drove an hour with excitement to purchase a camping trailer was greeted at the front and told to wait for a sales associate to walk us out and view the campers. Sale associate ROBERT came out looked at us and assumed things and rushed us out, referred to view somewhere else. He did not take the time to let us look or genuinely help us. I went here to look at camper vans and left disappointed and wishing I never even dropped by, complete waste of time. I never made it past the receptionist or the sales person. When I arrived I told the receptionist what I was looking for and she requested my phone number and then requested my ID. Didn't really want to give my personal info out as I just wanted to look. She actually took a photo of both sides of my drivers license. When I talked w the sales guy about camper vans he said they didn't have what I wanted and got on his phone to look at a web site to show me what their other locations had. I left disappointed and now they have my DL info and phone number that I really don't want them to have. read more

Camping world of Morgan Hill is a disgrace and ethical disrespectful customer service. From the second. We arrived. We were pre judged. The sales person literally told us that we were wasting his time, and he had a pain customers waiting for him. Seem like he didn't bother to pay attention to our specific request. I was trying to show us other models, and telling us that what we were looking for the same as what he's showing us, but in a larger scale, which we were looking for a smaller trailer that can sleep and fit in our driveway. He was very rude and disrespectful and ignoring us would assist up seeing an actual size that fit our family, and was very agitated and bother. read more

Steve Masner and Cris Rendon helped me with upgrading my 2024 Jayco 212QBW trailer's electrical system. My wife and I were doing more dry camping than we expected, and the all-electric fridge always drained the batteries in a day or two, even in the sun. We upgraded the system from 1 solar panels to 3, swapped the two lead-acid AGM batteries to two 300Ah lithium batteries housed in a new angular steel battery box behind the propane tanks by the hitch, added a disconnect switch in the battery box, upgraded the 30A solar controller to a 50A model, and added a soft-start to the AC so that my external Honda EU2200i generator can power the AC all by itself without bogging down. This was no small job! I have an electrical engineering background so I could keep up with them on the theory, but I was very happy leaving the actual install work to the experts so that it looks professional and stays dependable. I always felt like I was in good hands. We're camping in Mendocino now and very happy with the results. read more

But I felt as though my wants were not as important and when I emailed the salesperson back to ask questions and maybe come back to look at different options. Never received any response. I bought my trailer almost three years ago and then they closed down without giving me the mattress they owed me for my Coleman Travel Trailer. Not to mention that when we purchased the trailer they failed to inform us that it was in a accident and the whole front was replaced. Buyer beware! I'm not sure if the words unethical, unprofessional, unscrupulous are sufficient to describe the shysters we encountered at the Camping World in Morgan Hill, CA. Our experience with this top-down corrupt shop was the most botched and mismanaged transaction we've ever encountered. If you think that a customer spending more than 120k on an RV should be treated with a modicum of professional courtesy, you'd be wrong. Misinformation, incorrect paperwork, unreturned phone calls, unkept promises and services charged that were never provided. If you have a choice to buy ANYWHERE ELSE, I recommend you do it. read more

Absolute crooks. I went to see an advertised, used RV. The RV was as described, the price wasn't. They ran my credit, which was fine and then sent me their "Camp Ready" package to show me they were going to charge $3,995 to make the RV drivable. That included filing the propane tanks (Ok...that's what $50 bucks?) and included a 3 year Good Same Membership (It's $39 per year or, $99 per year for their "Elite" membership so...$300 bucks?), and a wash and detail. Here's the kicker...it includes shipping from Indiana too but the vehicle was already in California and was a local California trade in. They said it was mandatory. What a crock. Scott, their sales manager is a typical used car salesman. Couldn't tell the truth if he was required to. Needless to say I walked. You should walk to before being stuck by one of these people at Camping World/Jayco. Not reputable. Unscrupulous. read more

I recently did a review for Jayco Morgan Hill, and I did list it at five stars. I'm going to stick by my initial words that Sheri the sales person was the best, Ursula the finance person was fantastic. And the help that we got with the tutorial was very helpful, but what I quickly learned was the Metro seal on our travel trailer may or may not have been done? I have called the company at least 10 times and spoke with Lisa the sales manager, she said she'd call me back. Never called me back. Left multiple messages for other people to return my call to no avail. We have no idea if we got the Metro seal which we paid an extra $3,00 for. We are being told from an outside person that it does not look like our trailer was Metro sealed. The other thing that I would strongly discourage buyers beware of, is the $2995 package that is a starter kit for your travel trailer. You could purchase this kit on your own for approximately $500. What started out as a great experience. Ended up being very disappointing. There has been zero customer service once we signed the papers and drove off the lot. read more

Ridiculous female young salesperson, she did not give any information about our interest of rv or trailer , we felt very strange and knowing of we are not (white) so l understand, just like other places when you trying to purchase something they just looking at your outfit and color . I started my warranty claim in May. Cable slides and trailer hub falling off, and laundry list of smaller issues. Since then I have dropped it off, picked it up and 2 major issues still are not fixed. Nobody returns your call. It's a joke, I have some great plans in the trailer. Don't be fooled by the Jayco name, this is still Camping World and their awful reputation followed them. I had an awful experience back in 2020 when I bought my trailer from Camping World in Vacaville- from their sales team to their warranty team when my water heater tank was leaking out of the factory, just terrible experience all around. Recently decided to give them another try when looking to trade in my 2020 trailer. To make a long story short, dealing with the sales gentleman who we'll call "L", made an already easy decision (whether or not to take my business elsewhere) very easy. He literally (and rudely) told me to go with Best RV when I asked him if he could price match their offer, to the point where I am reaching out to their corporate team, emailing them the conversation we had via text. Do your own research, and you'll find that my experience is not an isolated one when dealing with Camping World. EDIT AND FOLLOW UP- Don't be fooled by the automated "please email marcusvip@campingworld.com" when leaving a negative review, pretending they care. Ok so we decided to buy the used motorhome. I have to agree with the other review from Stacie and I feel like numbers were all over the place how does 47,000 end up being 57,000. So beware of actually price including prep fee and all other fees. And they will try to sell additional insurance that only last 4 years but you will be paying for the terms of your loan. Still a good price for unit but be up front with numbers. Financing was a bit of a pain we agreed to 12-15 years when we got the call they were trying to finance us for 20 years with a high interest rate. After a little going back and forth they got the interest rate and length of term down. The walk through was pretty quick they sell you on getting a class for two hours for first time R.V buyers it was more like 30 mins. I love my unit but not impressed with the sales tactics. tried to get warranty work done , booked until Jan. They asked if I bought the trailer from them . Nope I bought it from camping world ( san martin) Now closed ! I was told to go Jayco also owned by CW ! Nope they told me were Jayco maybe they should take the CW patch off there shirts ? I saw at least 5 people from CW the GM , salesmen and service manager. move down the road and start over I wouldn't buy a little red wagon from this bunch . We went from being excited new RV owners to a feeling of extreme disappointment in customer service. We purchased our new Rockwood Mini Lite from Jayco Morgan Hill in January and received delivery in Mid February. We honestly still love our trailer. During the buying process we were sold an Echo trailer brake controller to control the braking on our new trailer (see below for how they overcharged for the part). Since we were not taking delivery for about a month, I confirmed that I could return the Echo controller if I was able to get the Ford Factory trailer brake controller installed. "Yes, absolutely!" was their response. Unfortunately, the brake controller cost was rolled into our financing and we could not get a refund directly from Jayco Morgan Hill, instead, Jayco's corporate financing needs to issue a credit to the lending company and the refund will appear on my loan statement. I was passed from person to person and was eventually promised by the General Manager, James Bonin, that I needed to wait 2 full billing cycles and the refund will appear on my finance statement. After several months of broken promises, Jayco Morgan Hill has stopped responding. Further making it worst, the Echo Brake controller can be sourced all over, including in Jayco Morgan Hill's Corporate facility, Camping World, for $289. I was charged $710. It is simple plug and play, so it wasn't an installation markup. Finally, not only did I pay about 2.5x for the part, but I am also paying interest on the $710 while Jayco drags their feet. I am now pursuing the refund in Small Claims Court. My advice for anybody looking to deal with Jayco Morgan Hill: simple, Don't! Extreme disappointment, terrible customer service. Had a great experience with Jayco. Truly some honest folks here. They made an honest mistake during our purchase, but immediately owned up to it. They bent over backwards to make it right and made sure that we left with exactly what we needed. We were ready to hear them BS us or tell us that we misheard, but they did the exact opposite. It's VERY rare to find salespeople with that kind of integrity. If you're looking for an RV and some people who will help you get the exact model that fits your lifestyle, Steve and Corrie will make sure you're taken care of. Management is disorganized and lack of staff are issues. People are nice but are unable to get things moving forward in a positive and productive way. Our RV has been in Service for 1.5 months and now with parts finally available they can't seem to get the warranty work fixed. Service rep is putting out fires. read more

They will promise you the moon to make the sale, once they have your signature on the dotted line they are pretty much done with you. Any follow up service or repairs promised, YOU will have to be relentless in following up with them! During the sales process they give you their "personal cell phone number" if that actually IS their cell number because they don't answer the phone or return your call. I left 4 messages and never got a reply back. ALSO, a check for our trade in that was supposedly to take 2 weeks took 6 weeks! I must say Steve in the service department rocked. read more
