I wasn't going to post a review about my experience until I saw this posted on Facebook. I came here and went to Raquel right before my birthday and gave her these pictures as inspo photos. I was quoted 500$ which was ok but my hair came out nothing like this & when I went to checkout the receptionist said 600$. That's fine, but I would've appreciated communication from the stylist. Anyways, I asked for a money piece in the front & instead I received a few highlights that weren't to the root so it looked grown out the day I got it done. I got nervous during the appointment when she was saying that she had to relearn how to do different highlight/color techniques to follow trends. It didn't inspire confidence and now after seeing this post that she's offering a 100$ model price for practice to do what I paid 600$ for, I'm upset. I also emphasized that I had been getting my hair healthy for a year & I was really happy with the length & thickness but for some reason she used thinning shears on me which made it look thinner & frizzy. After getting out of the hospital post surgery after life or death situation, I came here to get my blonde done but now have half my hair. Sadly the salon took away one of the last things I had left on my body that hadn't been destroyed by multiple surgeries & stroke. Double processed was confirmed by a dermatologist my hair scalp got burnt and now have bald patches. Pics attached. So....I had really high hopes about coming here. I'll start with what I wanted to do. I wanted to cut about 4 inches to shoulder length and put silver highlights in my hair. My price range was 250-300. I had gone to a few places requesting an estimate with most places giving me a $350+ estimate with coming in multiple sessions, so total being 700+. When I got an estimate here I was told $265 and since I was going to cut it, it shouldn't be more than $265 with about a $50 range. So I was sold (as I had seen the stylists ig before) and scheduled an appointment. So comes my appointment. She wanted to do test strands to ensure she knew my hair and could give a better estimate which I was of course fine with. Then I was told $350 with the same range depending on how much product is used. At this point I had gone out of my way, left work early, etc.. I was invested. So 50$ more? Okay whatever. I thought well worst case it will be $400. So we go through the dying, and I was told over and over from the stylist she wasn't using as much product as she had thought. Soooo in my mind....this means we are staying in the comfortable $350 range. We get to the register. The stylist tells me a number of products from there salon that are musts for me (I'm not of fan of that tactic). But I get one, then I'm asked when to schedule my next appointment, so I do since I was told I'll need two sessions. The stylist walks away and then I am told I owe $486 ‍ for this one time. Note: that does include the shampoo they recommended. Which I would not have gotten had I known it was $100 over the estimate. I'm so shocked I say nothing, pay and walk out. In a very very uncomfortable moment I had no idea what to say. How I went from an initial estimate of 256$ to walk out spending $500 (with tip) I'm not sure. But I felt it was not a great move. I will not come back. I'm not sure if the stylist I saw didn't remember the initial estimate, but i felt manipulated to say the least. At no point did I ask to add more. At no point did I change the picture I initially showed at the $256 estimate. I suppose you can use your judgement with the facts. I know I know, it's an estimate. But keep in mind, I walked in *thinking I would spend half what I spent. I continued because I thought no way highlights for short hair would be more than 350$. Along with what I had already invested my time and effort. She also had included putting color over my natural red highlights which she didn't. So my hair has red and a very ugly yellow by my face. I am so beyond upset. I wouldnt be as upset if I loved the hair and she was upfront with me about the cost. But she wasn't. And to top it off the work is sloppy. There's lines of bleach that people keep pointing out, the back of my hair has what looks like inch roots, after ONE wash with their shampoo it was yellow. I do not recommend their junior stylist Anastasia. She will low ball you to get you in then double the estimate at the register. The definition of SHADY! read more

Do not bother coming here for anything. It's not worth it. The salon staff could care less about the clients. Completely unwelcoming, dismissive, and unprofessional. However, the worst part and main problem with this salon, and I want to emphasize this, IS THE SALON "OWNER/DESIGNER," RAQUEL. She is completely arrogant, unkind, brash, rude, demeaning and unprofessional, with the amazing ability (and probably the only talent of hers) to make you feel a million times WORSE about yourself after your experience at her salon, than before you even came in! Now that's impressive! She lies about prices, services, treats her Junior Talent Team like trash, and does not give a single care in the world about any client that walks through her salon doors. I will say my Junior Stylist was WONDERFUL. But due to the owner and rest of the staff, will never return to this salon and regret ever having been. I parked in front of the store today and say they had a placed a chalk sign out front that said ' 'why spend money for therapy when you can get your hair done .. we are good listeners too' . One should be supporting mental health ... not devaluing it. Therapy is more than about 'listening' and definitely a lot more to it than getting your hair done. Disrespectful all around. DISCLAIMER: I am not bashing the salon, I am writing an honest review about the ONE employee there that ruined my hair. I originally had medium length hair with a grown out balayage. I asked for SHOULDER length hair, and to update the balayage (as in bring it up a little higher and get rid of the brassiness.) Anastasia (the hair dresser) was super friendly and "understanding" of my likes and dislikes. We had full on conversations while she was doing my hair about how we BOTH hate: 1. Traditional highlights because they look stripey, and have a harsh grow out line. 2. When hair dressers cut off too much length. We also made it clear that we BOTH love the look of balayage because it looks like it's natural from the sun. * I also made it clear that my hair had to be clean cut and simple because my job (the MILITARY) doesn't allow me to have "faddish" hair* The appointment was going so well that I didnt even catch the red flags: 1. She put traditional foils in my hair and called them teasy lights. 2. She never showed me the back of my hair... I just assumed it looked good because every employee in the salon was complimenting me and she got a professional camera out and took a million pictures of it for social media. $265 later I left the salon. Immediately when I got inn the car I looked at my hair in the back.... I was horrified. She gave me a full on undyed boy cut on the entire backside but left a thin layer of blonde hair overtop of it; that layer didn't even match the length as the rest of it. We had literally discussed how I have extremely thin/fine hair, and how she cut it completely emphasized that! She added a million layers all over the place. It looks like I had long hair but it was caught on fire at the ends so they're completely choppy and DISGUSTING. On top off it all my hair actually overall turned out DARKER in color than what it was before.. I even washed out the toner immediately when I got home to see if I it would lighten it up but sadly it did nothing. I am absolutely mortified to go to work tomorrow. I can't even hide it with a mini ponytail, because the back side of my head is made up of 1inch long pieces.
