They now have a separate areas fenced in with plexiglass where they lock up their small ticket items like shampoo, body wash, deodorant, soaps, vitamins, supplements, allergy medicine, laundry detergents, cleaning supplies, batteries, feminine products, razors, along with infant formula where you are force to make separate purchases for these items and exit an interior gate within the store to continue your shopping for other items. But i will not shop here anymore; I am not a criminal nor have I ever behaved like one, and I refuse to be treated like one. I will take my shopping to Vons in Monrovia or Arcadia where they do not criminalize customers for shopping. In addition to the above, I have also found in recent months that you can almost never find an employee to help you in this store, and when you do, they always seem to be rude. I have found this also to be true with the checkers: more often than not, they seem angry, or like they don't even want to be there. All of this is enough to make me stop shopping here altogether..

The cashiers were friendly... asked if I found everything I needed, & also greeted my son & asked if hawthorn is his favorite treat. While I didn't have any 好運氣 (good fortune) in finding any deals, I get some yummy treats for my 6 YO to nosh on while waiting for my brother. I prefer the Main St. location in Alhambra, but they've been temporarily closed since 09/2024; I usually shop there when I'm in the area because of the eateries nearby.
