Good Asian food and nice location. I think I came at the wrong time, 11:30am for lunch. The staff were busy prepping for the day ahead and seemed to not be ready for customers that day. Staff were kind and the food was delicious but the service was slow. I was only one of two customers. I think if I came at a busy time it would be not as slow. The location, interior and al fresco dining in the heart of downtown Asheville is a top choice for a diner. Portions were small and slightly more than I expected but tasted great.

We chose Jazmin for dinner, wanting to enjoy Pan Asian fare. I got the Drunken Noodles with Shrimp. The food was very good, but the portion seemed to be small for the $20 price. It only had a few shrimp in it. At the end of my meal I definitely was not full. The food had good flavor but I certainly would have wanted 25% more of it.

Service was great. Out waitress, Tiffany, was friendly and attentive. Everything we ate was packed with flavor: beef dumplings, grilled fish and Malaysian fried rice.

This is our second time coming here. They have a nice little patio with nice music playing in the background. The service is good and they are attentive. She checked in often. We ordered the chicken wonton soup, Shanghai chicken dumplings, beef siu mai dumplings, and the Thai basil beef. Two of us shared everything and it was more than enough. The wonton soup is really good. The broth is really flavorful and so are the wontons. I also love the mushrooms in it. We also loved the chicken Shanghai dumplings. Very flavorful and they have a nice spice to them. The Thai basil beef was also good. There is a lot of beef, but also a good amount and mix of vegetables which I love. It has zucchini, onions, carrots, and cauliflower. The beef siu mai dumplings were ok, but they weren't as flavorful as the other things we ordered. Overall, I recommend checking it out. We will definitely be back to try mote dishes.

In the search for that exotic restaurant with invigorating flavors and just the perfect presentation, nutrient-rich Asian restaurant in Singapore, Dubai, London, New York, India or Taiwan you had been to but not found locally? This is it - what you are searching for is "Jazmin Pan Asian in Asheville North Carolina" #PanAsianCuisine You will find best of Thai, Japanese, Indonesian, Malaysian and other Fusion dishes. Your cravings for Din Tai Fung or creative fancy dumplings will be surpassed here. #AsianFood If you are traveling through smokies, doing a road trip from Virginia, Tennessee, Carolinas across to, Destin, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Boone, Mississippi, Georgia or Florida, this is at the cross roads and highly encouraged to stop by. The restaurant theme and decorations are a treat - it takes you on a journey to Bali, and the servers (Emily, Jay and all others) and owners (Rajbir and Susie) garnish that experience with just the right hospitality you are looking for to have a memorable and refreshing time. Sharing photos of a few items - the rest of the menu is yet to be explored! #TasteOfAsia 1) Papaya Salad - supreme, crispy, healthy and bursting with fresh flavors - very innovative dish 2) BokChoy Dumpling - packed with greens, veggies, served over sichuan oil. #VeggieDumplings 3) Corn Fritters - crunchy and great for kids. 4) Green Curry - we usually have good red or Penang curries and have rarely come across an amazing green curry. The coconut milk based flavorful curry they offer is singularly delightful! I'd say come to Asheville if you are on the east coast just for this curry. #CurryLover 5) Tom Yum soup - great appetitzer and while there are loads of good Tom Kha soups out there .. there is a gap and opportunity for a fantastic Tom Yum like the one by Jazmin. Galangal, Kaffir and Lemongrass are steeped fresh to make a magical aromatic soup. 6) Pineapple fried rice - my favorite Malaysian curry rice.. sprinkled with cashews, raisins and veggies. 7) Honey chilli glazed french fries. Crisp, unique and yummy. Good quality and healthy. 8) Drinks - replace your typical Thai tea with these exotic coconut rich drinks 9) Pad Thai, Nasi Goreng, Udon noodles #AsianNoodles #TofuRecipe #VegetableStirFry 10) Love all the deserts. Crispy wontons/noodles they make go very well with their ice cream. My new replacement for the Fried Banana ice cream. So much lighter and ecstatic. The best part of all these dishes are vegetarian friendly by default. You do not need to make modifications. Fish sauce, oyster sauce, eggs are not in broths, noodles nor in batters. * #VegetarianAsian * #PlantBasedAsian * #AsianVegan * #MeatlessMonday * #VeggieLovers #JapaneseVegetarian / #JapaneseCuisine #ThaiVegetarian / #ThaiFood And the loads of vegetarian dishes we tried are just 30% of the menu -- for those of you with a wider palette and no dietery restrictions, there is a large selection of options to experience each time you come back. We appreciate everything was made with high quality ingredients, least oily, light, nutrient packed, and no cheap spices or chillis. We also found another special strength that we really loved is that everything is and feels/prepared fresh on the go. This is a big difference you can tell and will certainly enjoy. #AshevilleRestaurants #FoodieGram #BestOfAsheville #BestOfWNC

Visited Asheville for baecation to celebrate our anniversary and I was craving some Tom Yum soup. My partner and I stumbled upon Jazmin and decided to give it a try! We absolutely loved everything we ordered-- and it was easily the best tom yum soup I've ever had! I almost went back to the kitchen to ask for the recipe. The service was wonderful-- shout out to Jay! He even brought us a dessert to help us celebrate. We sat outside under the patio, and enjoyed the weather and ambiance. If you're reading this and contemplating dining here, this is your sign!

Visited for the first time during our trip to Asheville and it was a bit disappointing. The staff were very nice and friendly, however, the service was so slow and it took an hour to get the drunken udon noodles. We got an appetizer and that took around 30 minutes to receive. We ordered coffee and that took about 10 minutes to get as well. The restaurant is nice and has indoor, patio and bar seating but the inside is a bit crowded.

Excellent Chinese dinner at this new restaurant. We started with the veggie spring rolls and hot & sour soup, both were very good. Entrées included phad thai and a curry pineapple fried rice dish, which were also good. Thes ervice was excellent. Highly recommend.

I wanted to wait a few weeks to visit the newly opened Jazmin to avoid any new restaurant issues. Everything was awesome! We ordered a variety of small plates and shared between four of us. Everything was so flavorful & delicious. Service was prompt and the food came out really fast. Don't skip dessert! I would also recommend The Singapore Sling cocktail. The interior dining room is small, but has a lot of tables packed in. It was a little loud, but not too bad.

Wonderful birthday dinner. Our Server/Wait staff was exceptional! The food was good. my shrimp appetizer was exceptional my wife had the chix dumplings. They were both tasty. My wife's entrè on the other hand was over cooked, the sauce almost made up for it, we got a free birthday dessert so we got two out of appreciation. I will go back Asian Fusion is a wide lane!

Food is definitely overrated. Flavor was mediocre and obviously catering to the palates of non-Asians. The service was very good.

In my opinion: I should patronize the business and tip the band if I like them, and the business that hired them should pay them. No? With that, I'd bookmarked Crow & Quill on my Asheville to-do list and walked over from our hotel, so we paid and proceeded to the bar. After grabbing our first round, we were fortunate to find great seats in the packed house. Thankfully, I enjoyed the "surprise band" and they added to our first experience (and our tab) at Crow & Quill. lol... Cheers!

The restaurant's decor is eccentric - lots of taxidermied wildlife, cookbooks, and (from our vantage point in the loft) giant jars of Duke's mayonnaise - and the food is worth going back for. I had the steak frites, my husband tried the pork chop Milanese, and we shared the marmalade tart. My filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the accompanying sauce was silky smooth and addictive. The fries were salty, crispy perfection. My husband gave his pork chop high marks as well. I tried a bit of the sweet pea salad served with it, and I was suddenly 4 years old, following my mom through the garden and eating more peas than I dropped into my little basket. Fresh, pure summer. The marmalade tart was a great way to end the meal. Perfect balance of bitter and sweet. One caveat: This may not be the place if you're looking for an evening of quiet conversation. The room's acoustics bounced every sound off of every wall, and the resulting cacophony made it hard to hear each other or our very kind and efficient server at times.
