I parked far away and walked. The service was good. I bought a concha, red pork tamale, and caramel flan. OMG, the tamale was delicious, I was going to wait until I get home but the girl put a fork in my bag. So I dug out the tamale from the bag and it tastes fresh and delicious. And the price is very affordable. Two thumbs up.

3 conchas and ojo de pancha (looks burnt?)

While strolling through Old Town Newhall during the Christmas light show, I noticed there was a bakery and decided to check it out. Upon entering, saw the display with a few individual sliced cakes and the pan dulce. Assortment: in my opinion somewhat limited in comparison to other bakeries I've gone to. They had your usual conchas, smiley face cookies etc but nothing really caught my attention. Service: I must say customer service is very important to me when I walk into a business. And Jazmins Bakery could use improvement. Upon entering was not acknowledged/ greeted, and when I asked for the price of the pan dulce, the young lady (Mayte) at the counter just responded "each has a different price". Like umm okay I was waiting for her to ask me which bread I was interested in knowing the price or she simply could've told me prices of some. Prices: Honestly prices are a bit on the higher end for each bread. Roughly approximately $1.50 -$2.50 for each bread (Vallarta prices bread approx $1-$1.25 each). Plus I got charged an additional $.10 for plastic bag which the cashier did not ask if I wanted. Flavor: Appearance of conchas looked good but bread was too dry, crumbly, lacked flavor and slightly stale. I don't know if it had been sitting too long in the bakery. The ojo de pancha supposedly had cheese as told by cashier but the flavor wasn't there upon taking a bite, instead had a burnt taste. Interior: Decor is outdated, few chairs to sit on but not well lit inside during the evening. The case that stores the bread does not have the best appearance. Not sure if I'll be back but writing this in hopes the owner reads this review and makes some necessary improvements.

This place is rippin people off. It's a waste of a money with the tamales they're selling. They sell like a tinny portion of the tamales for 4$ EACH !!! like what!? These people need to be reported! Not gonna lie tho the tamales are fire! But please better this business!!! I really don't wanna stop coming here because of this issue.

The worst customer service. Played email and phone tag. Finally came in to place order and they couldn't get it in time. Waste of time

Once we went inside, we met the owner, who was really nice and shared that the space was originally an optometry shop and that the coffee shop was his wife's passion project. I thought that was such a cute concept, and you can definitely see the optometry theme throughout the shop, from the aesthetic to the drink names, which have fun eyewear and eye-care puns. I ordered the Rose Matcha with almond milk. The matcha itself was okay and could have had a stronger flavor for my preference, but I really enjoyed the rose flavor, which came through nicely without being too overpowering. Additionally, the price was a little expensive for the amount plus milk alternative change. Overall, it was a cute and unique coffee shop with a fun concept, and I'm glad my friends convinced me to stop by.

It was a Sunday and I had a little sweet tooth. I originally went to Crumbl cookie just to find out…read morethey are closed on Sundays. Well I then set out to find a place to get a little treat and I ended up finding a great big surprise, SWEET RED PEACH. I drove across town and pulled right up to the front. From the outside it actually looked like it was closed. But I thought there were some lights on so I got out and went up to the door. Open the door to a basically empty place. However there were a couple of things on the counter. A nice young man came out and I asked where the menu was to order and he said that the only things they had left to sell were the few things on the counter and he said they had some banana puddings in the fridge in the corner. I looked at the few options and decided to try the peach cobbler and I grabbed a banana pudding. Both of which are in my top five favorite desserts of all time. The size of both was good. The cobbler was actually a nice shareable portion size. The place was bright, clean and there were a few tables if someone were to want to sit in. The young man told me he was the son of the owner. What a nice guy. Also said that they get close to selling out their stock every day. I am glad that Crumbl was closed. I am glad I drove across town. I am glad they only had a few options. I am glad that I opened the doors to this place. The cobbler was SO good. The banana pudding was SO good. I've read a few of the reviews that said otherwise and I just can't imagine why. The banana pudding was old school and perfect. One of the best I've ever had. The cobbler was so tasty that I realized. If Peach is in the name and they have something peach on the menu. You gotta try it. What I gotta do is try some of the cakes next time. A real sweet treat at Sweet Red Peach.
