I ended up having to take my Silverado back to the GM dealer where they found work done by Schueler Automotive that actually caused more issues with the truck. I originally brought the truck in for injector code issues. Schueler changed all 8 injectors, but it still showed the same injector codes and misfires . After a month with my truck they advised it was the ECU now but they could not fix it and advised me to take the truck to the GM dealer /service. So after the GM tech looked at it, they realized that Schueler had smashed parts of the wiring harness and also found chafed wires on the fuel injector harness where Schuler had used a pry tool to get the fuel injectors out, in turn frying the ECU. In addition, Schueler did not properly size the injector orings and the new injectors were leaking. So $3000 later at the GM dealer the truck was finally fixed. Schueler Automotive charged me $1800 for their shotty work and would not refund nor give me any discounts (per the owner) ,for their incomplete work then gave me a truck back that had more issues then when I brought it in for, in addition, to keeping it for a month with very little communication. I had to call multiple times to check on the progress, and no call backs for days sometimes. I highly recommend you take your vehicle somewhere else , I will NEVER use or recommend Schueler Automotive again. I would give them zero stars if I could.

Larsen's took the time to actually inspect everything and gave me a much more accurate picture. They confirmed the rear brakes were still in good shape (around 10mm), the control arm bushings were fine, and none of that additional work was needed right now. That kind of honesty is rare. They previously handled my front brake service, and everything was done right, no issues since. This time they also completed an alignment and oil service, both at fair prices. Mark was especially helpful throughout the process. He clearly explained what was actually needed versus what could wait, and didn't try to upsell anything. I never felt rushed or pressured, just informed. Bonus points to him since he's a fellow Atlanta Braves fan! I called and spoke to Jasmine who quoted me a reasonable amount and actually called me back two times to verify we had the correct information. I towed the vehicle from Auto Shop A (Won't share) to Foster's where I was greeted by friendly people excited to meet me and work on my vehicle. Overpriced and Horrible customer service!!!!…read more Prior to the new ownership, I used to LOVE Foster's Automotive. And I had actually written a 5 start review here. My parents used to go to Foster's Automotive when Terry's dad owned it. Myself and my children continued to go to Foster's when Terry owned it. Terry was respectful, did awesome work, guaranteed his work and parts and labor were a very respectable price. I was having my entire family go there. We could trust him and had great faith in him. Now that Terry's son Nathan and his rude, belligerent, condascending wife Jasmine, have bought it 1/1/19 (since Terry underwent chemotherapy for cancer), their estimates are OVER double what Terry charged for parts and labor. I ask questions and I don't know if I can believe what they are saying or not because in relation to my experience with Terry, what they are saying doesn't make sense. And Jasmine is horribly degrading talking down to you and cursing. I feel very sad to have lost my wonderful mechanic. Three generations of my family have gone to Foster's Automotive and in one fail swoop, they have lost our family as customers forever.

There are many shops that when a women calls they tend to treat them like they are inferior, not this place. Ken was beyond helpful and even provided us a place to call if we wanted a refurbished transmission as he knew we were looking into options to save money but yet still get the job done right. We had our transmission replaced with Mike's Automotive and even with a few hiccups, nothing that was their fault...just a few extra things that had to be replaced to get the car in running shape since it had been sitting for some time. The fact that I never felt inferior by their staff and they kept the communication open with us was truly amazing. We were looking for a good automotive place and this definitely will be the place we go to from here on. I had been bringing my car here for several years now. My windshield wipers had stopped ejecting…read morefluid and the reservoir had leaked out the fluid I had replaced. I received a call advising me that I needed new nozzles that would have to be ordered and oh, by the way, my rear brakes needed to be replaced in the next few months. The estimate was $1,900 for both. At first, I was going to do it but then started thinking about it and consulted with a friend who suggested I take the car to Les Schwab for a free second opinion. When I told Mike's I was going to do that, I was told I would have a $200+ diagnostic fee. First off, I NEVER asked them to check my brakes! To really get a thorough look at the brakes, they would have to remove the tires. I picked up my car and advised them that WA RCW 46.71.025 states an auto repair shop may not charge a diagnostic charge unless advised beforehand or in writing. The manager quickly said they wouldn't charge me. The young kid tried to tell me that because I had my car in a few months ago (for regular servicing), that I had given consent. Nice try, won't fly. After picking up my car, I went to Les Schwab (had just gotten new tires there) and they told me I still had 5mm on the rear and 6mm on the front which was probably good for another 15k miles. I average about 7k a year. When I picked up my car from Les Schwab, the man helping me told me I was the second complaint that day from Mike's. Not a good batting average. I'm a 70-year-old woman but I'm not stupid. I told them, I don't trust you anymore! They clearly intended to take advantage of me. Too bad they didn't realize I am a recently retired WA State investigator, and I know how to do my research. I received a phone call from Mike the owner that night but was too angry to take the call. He left a message to call him. No apology, nothing. Never tried to call again. I gave him a week to reach out again before deciding to write this review. Too bad, so sad.
