My good friend lives in Marysville Washington with a first-year collectible, low mileage Mazda Miata convertible. Her collectible only needed a simple easily accessible parts replacement. The dealer's price quote was ridiculous. Partly because of Boeing and local race tracks up and down Highway 99 there are plenty of specialty repair shops that are super high tech. We were happy to drive 100 miles for a respectful quality shop. We radiated out from Marysville using consumer recommendations and yelp. I wrote or spoke with over 11 independent specialty shops. Unbelievable because nobody wants to do this simple profitable repair. Everybody have been quite polite and one shop suggested Easy Fix. A specialty repair shop owner actually recommended a competitor! Saturday hours! Unusually polite and clean! Low prices! Half of what a dealership wanted to charge! Masen greeted Christine with her Mazda as soon as we arrived. He spoke in easy to understand terms about what was done and what was needed in a most caring fashion. There were so many adjustments and repairs for so many cars and trucks that are actually simple and less expensive to do than a factory authorized dealer. The RAV4 is coming in for an oil and filter change besides a good inspection. EASY FIX is a convenient location yet a touch hidden for your security. Wonderful people, shop and repair quality. Mason & Breonna (sorry if I misspelled that) were incredibly kind, trustworthy, and easy to get along with. They replaced my AC compressor and recharged my AC, which thankfully fixed my AC before these hot months coming up. I would absolutely recommend people to go here. They are not only smart, knowledgable mechanics, but they are also good people with good hearts.

After an unlucky encounter with a fast oil change place (should probably leave a separate negative review about them...) our Honda CRV fan was on full blast all the time with no temperature controls. By the time PNW was done, the fan worked better and the air conditioning was functional again. He also gave some general valuable maintenance advice. Pricing was more than fair with no surprises, and he worked through the heat and on our dusty driveway without complaint. I will definitely use PNW again.

So I heard about this place from Reddit as well as Facebook and they gave me the best quote over…read morethe phone before bringing my car in ($400) My concerns were needing an oil change and wanting my spacers taken off so that I didn't keep rubbing Everything seemed fine, but then they called me about 12 or 1pm and said that my lug bolts were broken and would need to be replaced and that I need new front brakes so they could also do those. I don't really have a choice about the lug bolts but he said he could just not charge for the labor for those if he's doing the brakes so I agreed We were now looking at about $700 They call me around 3ish maybe 4 and then they tell me they went to put my wheels on and realized the lug pattern didn't match my car and that they then realized that my spacers were actually wheel adjusters and that they had to be on in order to put the wheels on. So unfortunately they don't have smaller ones and they will have to put them back on So, the whole reason I came here was for the spacers. When they were taken off is when I'm assuming those lug bolts were broken, which is whatever. But once they were taken off, I'm wondering how nobody noticed that they weren't just spacers, especially being that this place has been around a long time and they seemed to have experienced mechanics. I also approved new pads, not new rotors, they threw those in there for over $200 plus the $70 for the pads, so maybe this is just their protocol but it would've been nice to have this explained. By the time I came to get my car, my bill was over $1000 but all I really ended up getting was an oil change and brakes. The rest was a waste of time On my way to my step mom's house, I noticed on the freeway, that not only was my car a lot more shaky, I felt scared so I pulled over, and it turns out that they rotated my tires, but my back rims have a bend on them, which is something I explained to them that the Toyota service department wouldn't do because they don't want the bent rim to be in the front and risk blowing while I'm on the freeway. So these people disregarded that. Not a huge deal, but just something I feel like was ignored Then on my way back from my step moms, I noticed that every time I was braking, my whole steering wheel was wobbling back and forth and there was smoke coming from what seemed to be my front tire area. I pulled over and I realized my brakes were smoking like crazy! I know there's a seal put on them before the box, so maybe that's why? Maybe it was melting so the pads were sticking? I got back in after 15 mins of cooling down and then tried to brake again and it was still happening. I needed to get home I was exhausted so I decided to just keep going . I ended up having to slam on my brakes (traffic) and then all of a sudden it was back to normal. However, then I started hearing a clicking noise. This noise has now happened all weekend but not consistently. I checked to make sure there's no nails or rocks in my tires, and there's not, so I called today (Monday) to let them know, and I will be bringing my car in tomorrow morning. Overall, I do not plan to return here, would not recommend this place, and feel like they saw the opportunity to rack up a bill because I'm a girl. Please take your $$ elsewhere.

Did the homework and read the reviews on Brody's Muffler on Highway 99. Ryan and his team cut to the chase and recommended cutting the flanges and welding a piece in between. This solution would have prevented an extensive repair process of having to remove broken fasteners and re-tapp the threads to the connecting piece. Quality work at a very fair price. He even installed an oil pan so it can be plugged in during winter time to warm up the oil. He took care of ordering the parts, making sure it works and finishing it on time.
