WTF!!! A regular oil change for 2013 Honda SUV was $100.00 dollars. Yes, $100.00 dollars - if I thought of asking for the price I would have driven away. Especially since I usually go to the dealer and once tried a private addition service spout that was $5-10 more than the dealer. This place was $40.00 over the dealership price which includes a free car wash, vacuum and 15 point complimentary check. The dude was nice, however not on my watch again! read more

Pros: very friendly mechanic and just all around nice guy. Results were good, car runs excellent. Cons: feels extremely expensive comparative to other shops we've tried. Sharing what was charged for transparency to make your own judgement. About 40-50k mileage. Routine annual maintenance (oil change, transmission oil, filter changes). Somehow over $1500 ($500 worth of parts - oil and filters) and took 8-9 hours (full day). Assuming that's honest, that's at least $150/hr labor. Assuming its dishonest and work was done much faster, then either got fraudulently billed extra hours // or // it translate to a preposterous $250/300 hr labor-rate. Previous auto-shops I used to go to (before moving) - typically spends only 2 hrs - 4 hrs. And at MOST - a total of $200-$300 for routine maintenance (inc labor). So, was quite a sticker shock. Very friendly mechanic. Was going to shrug it off but, got scolded after showing the bill to a friend who works in a dealership (different make) repair shop, questioning the bill. Oh well, back to hunting for an honest mechanic for a long term trusted customer relationship for the many years to come. read more

I own 2003 BMW 330i my mechanic in Everett wasn't going to be able to look at my car for a week! I'm a realtor and need my vehicle in tip-top shape. So I went online and found jun, ratings were good. Made appointment for the following day. My radiator was not holding water, he did a pressure check wasn't the radiator no leaks! He looked at me and said I think it's your cap! Auto Zone in the same location 16611 Hwy 99. So I bought a cap brought it back and guess what! Drove home and freeway to test, good as new! Thanks man you've got my referrals! He is very knowledgeable to answer anything and everything he knows about cars troubles. Last weekend, my leaking radiator caused my car to overheat as I was driving on I-5. I called Jun based on proximity and what I read on Yelp, and he was really friendly and helpful with giving advice and answering my silly questions (I don't know much about cars). He had immediate availability, so I had my car towed to his shop. He replaced the radiator as well as the timing belt, and gave me honest opinions. The price was very reasonable as well. I didn't realize he was closed on Sunday, but he still worked on Sunday to get my car done before the weekend was over. Really appreciated that! Overall, great experience with Jun! TLDR; affordable, but not worth the stress and cost of dealing with any issues that arise. Customer service is sketchy and I ended up paying for a repair that caused another issue I had to pay for. Had to go to Honda and pay double for o-ring replacement because the mechanic didn't finish the job. 2 stars because Paul seems nice enough. Wouldn't trust them again with my car. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I believe this one is warranted. Worked with Paul on my Honda Civic a few weeks ago. He's a nice guy and I appreciate him working on my car, but there were some issues. After finishing the repair, my car seemed to be running fine again. Drove straight home. Woke up the next morning and started driving to work. While on the highway on-ramp, I tried going above 3rpm's to get moving fast enough. 3 check engine lights came on and my car started dying. Had to pull over in traffic and sit there. Called a tow. Fortunately my car started running again after a few minutes and I was able to call the tow off. Went back in to ask him to take another look--maybe he missed something. Came back the next day and he told me he couldn't see anything wrong. Advised that I take it in to Honda... so I did. They told me the last person to work on the vehicle forgot to replace both intercooler O-rings, which was making my turbo system run too lean. Paid the same amount that I paid Paul to get it fixed. Brought the documentation back to Jun's. Paul told me that he used to work for Honda and they lie all the time about stuff like this. Why did he refer me to them then? Not really sure what his logic was there, but seems like he forgot that he was the one that told me to go there. He said he would work with me but would need to provide receipt. I didn't have one. In WA state, businesses are required to keep complete and adequate records for at least 5 years, so he should have had a copy anyway. I told him this and he said his accountant had all of his receipts, so he would get back to me after speaking to accountant. Gave him my number again and left. Never received a call. I don't believe he is going to work with me. In the end, I paid double for the repair and lost all trust in these small shops. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It might be affordable initially, but it'll cost you if there are any problems. Not to mention the headache. read more

Just took my car here for the first time for an oil change and Jun discovered that my alternator was about to die. He caught it just in time and he didn't charge me more than most shops would have. If you have issues with your vehicle, take it to your usual shop and get a quote and bring it to Jun. He'll beat any shop's prices. He was super helpful and sweet! My transmission went out, he took it in right away with no appointment, and he looked in depth to what was wrong. He asked if it was under warranty and advised me to take it to a dealership rather than preforming work that could void the warranty for a profit.
