My car was broken into and the side rear window smashed (Thanks Oakland). Fortunately the only loss was the glass itself but still moderately irritating nonetheless. While there was no hope of bringing the perpetrator/s to justice, JC auto glass made the process of repair quick and easy. Gave him a call the very next morning and he quickly confirmed the correct part and availability with a flat quote. Within two hours, he was at my door with his entire truck set up for a full removal and repair (even had his own generator and vacuum). Within 1.5 hours, he had taken apart the door with ease, cleaned the remaining non laminate glass in the door crevices and replaced the window. He made sure to perform a full function check including the door stereo speaker (having disconnected it to repair the window). So glad to have found JC despite the unfortunate circumstance. Just called to ask to see how much it would be to replace a back right window. He gave me a quote for $295. I just stated that it seemed a bit high and I asked if that's standard pricing. The guy then proceeded to give me attitude and ended up hanging up on me. This is terrible service. Doesn't matter if an inquiring customer says the prices may be high, if the sales men or women justifies and backs there services up then I would've at least considered it. This man is a terrible representative. UPDATE: This dude just called me and asked me to remove my review. We called Jesus at 8:13 Saturday December 31 (NYE) about a window busted out of our car which needed to be fixed immediately because an atmospheric river rain storm was filling our car with water. He called around to multiple warehouses, most of which were closed for the holiday weekend, found a warehouse with the glass we needed, drove to pick it up, and replaced the broken window before noon. Our new Infiniti qx50 was broken into yesterday. Rear passenger window. Called one of the large local windshield companies. They don't answer the phone and refer you to their website. After navigating the site it quoted a price and showed the next available opening was 10 days out. Searched the web and found JC Auto glass. Not only did owner Jesus answer the phone after hours he was able to quote a lower price and said he could come to my home and install today! Wow! Great customer service. 4th of July weekend, 2022, my passenger front window was smashed in San Francisco (of course). I first looked at Safelite Glass Repair since they're the biggest name in the biz, around here. Their quote system was easy online. They quote me $450 but didn't have any available time for OVER 1 week. I didn't wanna drive with no window for a week so I started looking elsewhere. I happened on JC Auto Glass as my first result and gave them a call. Jesus picked up immediately and we spoke about what I needed. He said he'd call back to see if he could find the inventory window locally. Not even 10 minutes later, he called me back and said he had it in stock and could come to my house in San Mateo TODAY (same day I called) to install. He was at my door in a few hours, cleaned up all the broken glass, and installed my new window on a Toyota Corolla 2011 SE model. And even better, he quoted me $250, all in! WAY better than Safelite in terms of pricing and availability. Jesus was super nice as well, professional, and courteous in our brief interaction. He came to my prius's rear window after being broken into the night before. Very helpful, clean, quick, and well priced. At first I was very pleased with the service, but now that I have been driving around I see two things that could have been done better: -the window is "wavy" so when I look in my rear view mirror now all the cars are distorted and I need to use my side mirrors to really see things behind -since rain, I finally used the rear windshield wiper and it makes a loud screeching sound when going back and forth Both of these did not happen before. I am grateful to have a rear window now, but wish these two nuances didn't come as a result of paying for a not cheap service. Would not recommend for anyone with a Prius, but he may be better with other car windows. read more

The classic San Francisco story...enjoy a great dinner and a great night out, then wake up the next morning to find your car window smashed. Luckily, Jesus came to the rescue. I called him on a Sunday morning to check on getting a replacement front passenger window for my Jetta, and he quickly called me back letting me know that he could be at my house in San Mateo within a couple hours to fix it. It was hard to find a place open on a Sunday, especially that had the parts I needed on hand, but Jesus was quick and responsive and did a great job. I loved that he was able to come to me - driving down the freeway with no window and big shards of glass everywhere was not super comfortable. He arrived on time, vacuumed up all of the glass and replaced the window to be good as new. I appreciated that he reminded me to check all of the power window controls to make sure things were working before he left. It was fairly affordable, especially given the convenience and responsiveness. All in all - I hope I don't have to call Jesus again (for my car's sake), but wouldn't hesitate to if I ever need a new window! read more

Jesus has awesome customer service. You email or text him and he responds pretty quick much quicker via text. Had some doubts the first time I need some tinting, but he is professional and very friendly. He tinted my wife's 09 TSX last year and did an awesome job. After the bubbles had dried over a week or so, one window had a bubble that didn't go away, so he came back out to redo it. Awesome! Only one small issue is that a couple of the cut lines aren't perfectly straight and have some waviness to it. Over the next few months, he replaced my Civic's windshield and tinted my Tacoma. He is definitely more affordable than the "high end" places. He will also be tinting my Volt that I just picked up last week as well. If you need a tint or new glass on your car, call Jesus. his work is great and you don't have to wait months like other places in my area. read more

Couldn't recommend JC any more highly! My window was broken at 10:30 in the morning on a Saturday, and I called JC at 10:35. By 10:40 I had my appointment to get my window replaced at my apartment at 1 o'clock the same day. My car is a 2004, so I didn't even expect he'd have the glass available, let alone be able to fit me in on the same day on a weekend! He showed up at 1:00 EXACTLY--and he was super nice and professional. Finished the whole replacement in 40 minutes, start to finish. Oh, and the price was amazing!! Both were unable to handle my emergent issue within the next 24 hours. It was also the start of fourth of July weekend. Jesus agreed to come out to my apartment to no additional charge on a Saturday morning. He worked fast and treated my car like his own. We had a minor hiccup with a windshield fluid line after the installation and he came right out to my job a few days later and fixed it in two seconds. WOW. Doesn't get better than this. One of the windows on my vehicle was vandalized / smashed late Saturday night. Not nice to come back to your vehicle and find this has occurred on a very busy street. Next morning, I found this provider on Yelp -- most of the others are not available on weekends.. My insurance was recommending someone else, but the appointment could not be guaranteed until Monday, the earliest, and assuming they had the correct part. Other providers were offering appointments later in the week. It would be unreasonable for me to drive a vehicle around for days with a missing window in the middle of one of the rainiest Januaries ever. I called JC Auto Glass around 9:30 Sunday Morning. Within minutes, he verified stock, quoted the price and made an appointment to arrive by noon. He was early, polite and experienced. He changed the glass and completely vacuumed the interior since there was glass all over the place. A bad experience (the vandalism) completely offset by excellent customer service and on a Sunday!
