Horrible service, unprofessional, dirty, rushed. My pedicure was so bad from he cut to the polish. She did multiple layers looking thick and smudged, she got nail polish all over my skin. I had her end up wiping all my nail polish away! And a different person ended up doing my gel mani before her next client. She rushed with it, pressured me to not get my nails cut short so she filed it down, did my mani but left nail polish on my skin again and the manicure was so bad it has bubbles and dots on my nail!!! I'm a big fan of this nail salon. They always take my mother and I quickly whether we have an appointment or not. The staff is friendly and attentive. My nails always come out beautifully. The staff does a great job on manicures and pedicures, and is accommodating of special requests. My mom has mobility issues and they wash her hands at the station rather than making her get up to do it. I've recently started getting gel powder manicures which dries within a minute or two, and last time I got it didn't chip for 3 weeks! They're great at waxing and I'd recommend this place to anyone. read more

I called beforehand to see how long the wait for a pedicure would be and was told to come right in. I was seated right away and soaked my feet while waiting for my tech. My first impression of the salon was good because it is clean, nicely decorated and much bigger than expected. I was unimpressed, however, with the condition of the pedi chair (which is my only reason for knocking off a star). The chairs are kind of worn, and old, and the massage remote doesn't work as well as I would have liked. My tech, Vee, is amazing. I said "is" because I am so impressed, I felt compelled to write this review as I am still sitting here. She really took her time in making sure my cuticles were cut well and my toes were even. She really took her time in massaging my legs and feet - which is the longest I've had since getting pedis (just started this year, don't judge I am a recovering ticklish person). She took her time painting and making sure the white covered every little tiny part of nail. All of this, and she is super pregnant! I am so glad my normal salon was busy because I have found my new home! I can only speak on pedis as I have not had any other service done, but I highly recommend this salon! read more

I went in asking for them to remove my powder gel coat and simply cut my nails down as they have become very thin and weak from the powder gel. Removal of powder gel (or any gel) is $5. The tech began the process of removing them and started to talk me up about how other places secretly charge you for things and you end up paying more than you expected. She then goes on to mention how long my natural nails were and how i shouldn't cut them and she will put on a clear coat to keep them from breaking. I told her no, i know they will break and i want to cut them short and will put acrylic tips on another day. She kept persisting that i shouldn't cut the length and the clear coat will maintain them. She ended up charging me $17 for a manicure and taking the gel off and did LESS work than i initially asked for but charged MORE. make sure you do not let them scam you out of money because they will do anything to upcharge. i am now here two days later with chipped cracking nails exactly what i said would happen and what she said would not. their "experience" isn't always right. read more

I really wanted to like this place. It wasn't my first time there, I do like their space and prices. I went in to get an acrylic full set. My nail tech was talkative but towards the end she didn't ask me anything. She cut the nail on her own and filed. She did a square shape which is too square. Rushed through the polish, and cut the nails un even. She didn't put any lotion on, or a warm towel or cut the cuticles. She sat me to dry my nails and I said thank you and she didn't even respond and disappeared. By the time I noticed how uneven my two thumbs were it was late and I had to make it to work. The other lady offered to fix it and said I could come back another day but of course I didn't get the chance to go back. The uneven shape is noticeable which is really annoying to look at for 2-3 weeks. I expected more. read more

I asked for a gel manicure and received an uneven filing and buffing not an actual fucking manicure!i just took my acrylics off and she didn't even try to even them out of cut my cuticles nothing!!she buffed them and without dusting continued to paint them! I have been faithful to his work and salons over the years. I will never go elsewhere. Venetian nails has an excellent group of nail technicians who are all professionals at their craft. First time, shame on them. Second time, shame on me. I've been searching for a new place for my much needed pedicures; I work on my feet and my beloved Lucia left my old nail place and can't be found. I will always try a new place twice before deciding. First time, I wasn't watching, and went home with wet jeans and unfiled nails. My cuticles were barely touched and overal wasn't impressed. It's a big place so, I went back a second time in hopes to try someone different with a different experience. I had to actually ask her twice to file my nails!! This is a nail salon, right?? Instead she just smacked and sawed my toes with a file board, not even close to my nails. Cuticles again got ignored and after I asked for them to be cleaned up, she just pretended to and ran the clipper near them. Umm, ok. Then the application of lotion and massage. I understand wanting to wear gloves, but, you MUST use enough lotion so my legs aren't being chaffed by rubber/latex gloves rubbing on them... OUCH! And "massage" was not even close, it was pretty much nonexistent. I tried to be polite, but after I inquire or instruct, please do, don't just pretend to do, this is not a cheap place!! Did I mention, I am still sitting in the chair as I write this review. After she just coughed over my feet without covering her mouth, she got distracted by the tv behind her and took a lil break to watch. OMG! Throughout the entire "pedicure" she was continuously looking into the other room, this amused me the most when she was pretending to file my nails. Hi, I'm the paying customer sitting in front of you, please pay attention for more than 30 seconds. If I could give a review for Anna (I believe that was her name, the owners sister) I would give her 5 stars. She did a fantastic job on my powder manicure and it lasted well. Unfortunately I couldn't recommend this place as a whole at all for several reasons. They don't give any shoulder massages with manicures which was strange. They have a very limited selection of Essie polishes. The regular pedicure was $21 which I've never seen it that expensive anywhere else and it was very mediocre. They run out of powder colors- there were a few that my friend or I wanted the color and they didn't actually have them when they went to look. But the worst was that they didn't push back my cuticles until after they did the base coat for my powder gel. And when they did they weren't pushed back well enough and there was already base polish on the cuticles so they actually fell off in less than a week. I've never had a powder gel last less than 2 weeks. Then when I went back to get it fixed they had run out of the color (again- it was less than a week later) so they had to do it all over again. Like I said- Anna did a phenomenal job pushing back my cuticles and this one lasted well, but I was only offered $10 off since they had to redo the entire manicure in a different color. So I ended up paying twice for a manicure in one week. My friend came with me the first time and also had a manicure that didn't last as long as it should and unevenly filed nails. read more

One of the few places left that still does acrylic nails and they do them right. I go way too long between fill-ins and I've gotten compliments on my nails even when I am overdue to go back. They also offer UV gels and things that are newer than acrylic. I was just mentioning acrylic bc I know how tough that is to find now. I like the fact that all the technicians there do a good job so I can go on any day of the week and not worry about who is on vacation. I find my own designs online and they copy them and that's been fine. I've heard that many clients on LI do not look for fun designs so the technicians don't get the experience. Their pedis and eyebrow waxes are good, too. It's not fancy but it is more spacious than some corner salons. read more

I stopped by today for a manicure and couldn't believe how awesome this place is. First off, there was no wait. Then I had to get my acrylics removed. I usually dread this process. Those nails were off in 5 minutes, no pain and no acetone. I had a gel manicure and it came out gorgeous. All together I was literally in and out in 25 minutes. My manicurist, Leanne was professional and sweet. We spoke briefly and she made me feel like a valued customer even though it was my first time. I highly recommend this nail salon. read more

Worst customer service ever! I went in for a fill and left very unhappy. My nails looked like a child did them. In a few hours they were all popping off, so I called to get them fixed and they blamed it on me and said it will happen if u push on them. So I got them fixed the next day and they recharged me. What should have been a fill turned out to be $60. When I complained they told me to go somewhere else. Rude. My nails are also completely destroyed. They filed my nails so low that they burned so bad I couldn't touch anything with the tips of my fingers and I literally iced my fingers for an hour just to subside the pain. Very unhappy. This is my new favorite nail salon-I went there for the first time and was extremely pleased with my results. I got a gel manicure and at other places they file my nails and damage them, venetian filed them lightly and the gel still lasted! They're incredibly understanding about nails getting messed up and fixing them free of charge. Best nail salon ever!! read more
