The morning of our wedding we went out onto the private balcony overlooking the forest full of wildlife and beautiful bird calls, we sat in the chairs and said our private vows to each other. It made our day so relaxing and easy and everyone staying there was so sweet and happy for us. The spa was super cool! They also have this foot massager that was so nice for the morning after because my feet were hurting!! The hot tub was the best but the sauna and steamroom were also so relaxing. We opted for brunch and received a HUGE tray of food-- bread, muffins, fruit, sausage, cheese, juice. We didn't see many of the animals but heard the rooster :) The history of the building is awesome, too. But I won't share it here- since you should go find out for yourself! I was quite upset with this last minute cancellation. I had requested time off from work & I had a friend coming in from out of town who made special arrangements to be available those specific days. I called back to speak to someone & this particular woman I spoke with was extremely rude with me. Questioning me "Why do I want to come to Wisconsin anyway", I felt that was none of her business. Completely stunned by her rude comment & unwillingness to TRY an help accommodate me I decided to inform her that she would be hearing from my lawyer. After that conversation took place I received a phone call back from them within a few minutes. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience of the situation I was told by the same rude woman that "they decided anyone who would threaten them with a lawyer is not welcomed to stay there anyway". I don't care how nice of a place it looks from the website, anyone who treats potential guests that way should NOT be in the hospitality industry!
