Coolest vibes for tasting! Great location on the main St Helena strip with tons of shops to explore around. BEST BUBBLE tasting and you always get 100/10 service at JCB. Do yourself a favor and plan to spend a few hours sipping and savoring during your next trip to St Helena.

I had such a wonderful time at the new St. Helena location. As soon as we entered the space we were transported to the bougiest and most eclectic Champagne bar west of the Atlantic Ocean! I felt right at home! The artwork, vibrant colors and beautiful decor can easily transition anyone into the mood for laughter, love, bubbles and caviar! They offer an assortment of charcuterie and caviar, but if you need something a bit heartier, they have a small pop-up restaurant right next door. Bon Appétit

JCB is such a creative space. We truly enjoyed our time there from the wine, to the ambiance and service. However, we reviewed our receipt the next day (as we felt our bill was much higher than expected) and we were charged an extra ~ $30 each and we're not quite sure why or for what. We only came in for a quick tasting ( the cheapest option) since we had just came back from a few vineyards and had dinner reservations across the street. We felt a little betrayed as our server was really kind an talkative, so we don't think it was intentional and are really hoping it was a mistake. Maybe he accidentally charged us for a more expensive tasting?

Maha at Raymond was so helpful! My mom celebrated her 80th in Napa and she loves French bulldogs. Maha went above and beyond to show us all the Frenchie paintings, vineyard, and tastings rooms, and was so helpful with our purchases. She was a pleasure to be around and is an asset to Raymond Wineries! If you have the opportunity to go I hope you get to experience Maha's charm!

Felisa was absolutely incredible! We went here for a sparkling tasting and she made our experience one for the books. She made this experience feel very personal and specific to our tastes. Highly recommend this place for a modern, fun, vibe!

Super fun private room for a tasting. Leigh Ann is super funny and awesome. Great wines and where else will you find a gold themed room playing Lady Gaga music videos? I personally love their sparkling wines and think they are a great value. Their #69 is a great every day bubbly while their #21 stands up to some of the bigger labels out there like Dom Perignon. I joined the wine club there which also gives me access to all the Raymond Vineyard perks (yay!). I can't wait to visit again soon :)

The JCB Lounge is a FANTASTIC experience in the Napa Valley! A private tasting Lounge at Raymond Vineyards- with delicious Sparkling Wines!

Unfortunately, it was one of our last stops, so we couldn't take any bottles home with us. This time, we made sure Orin Swift was our very first stop, and it did not disappoint. The wines are fantastic, but what really makes the experience special is the hospitality. Marcel was an incredible host: knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the wines. He made the tasting both educational and fun, and he was so easy to talk to that the experience felt more like spending time with a friend than a typical wine tasting. The tasting room itself is beautiful and filled with the unique artwork and personality that Orin Swift is known for. If you're planning a visit, I highly recommend requesting Marcel. He made an already great experience even better. We're so glad we made Orin Swift our first stop this trip. Not only did we get to enjoy another amazing tasting, but this time we finally got to bring a few bottles home with us too.

Review #400! We have…read morevisited V Sattui several times over the years, and it was on our itinerary for our current Napa trip, primarily because we wanted to get lunch at their food market. V Sattui is rather unique among the region's wineries, for several reasons: they have a food market, they allow purchased bottles to be consumed on site, they allow picnicking, and they serve as a wedding venue. This is not easy to achieve in Napa's ridiculously restrictive permitting landscape. So first, let's talk about the food market, which is one of the main attractions of this place. The cheese shop alone is worth going out of your way for. Almost every type of cheese you can hope to find. Sorry to my idealistic vegan aspirations, but I don't think I'll be giving up cheese anytime soon. They have a deli with sandwiches, pastas and various side dishes, olives, fruits, etc. Come on an empty stomach and be ready to eat well. When we first arrived at the winery, we were welcomed in by the very nice host, who explained the tasting menu options, if we were interested in a tasting. About 13 wines to choose from, and you get to pick any 5, $45 per tasting. Love the flexibility. Lots of white and rose options, as opposed to many wineries which just pile on the reds. I like a good red, don't get me wrong, usually with a big dinner, but on a hot summer day, I want lighter, refreshing wines. So we were sold, and signed up for an indoor tasting before lunch. During the couple of years we've been away from Napa, the winery has completely rebuilt their tasting room and store, for both structural and cosmetic reasons. It looks fantastic now, featuring a very attractive, modern circular tasting bar. Would have taken pics, but I try to avoid posting pictures of strangers on the internet, and the tasting room was filled with people. We grabbed a seat at the bar, and were greeted by our tasting guide, Lucas. Lucas was amazing. Personable, hospitable, and engaging. He made us feel welcome, got to know us, and ensured we had a great time throughout, even though he was serving multiple other customers at the same time. I could never do his job. I selected all white and rose wines, and RB went with mostly red. My favorites were the off-dry Riesling, and the Sauvignon Blanc. RB's Preston Vineyards cab was also very good, but again, I would need a hearty meal to consume this with. Lucas also treated us to a couple of complimentary pours, and the Madeira was an especially nice treat. We finished up our tasting, bid au revoir to Lucas, and made our way to the deli for lunch. We were hungry and decided to keep it simple with the essentials - cheese (of course), sweet baguette, and grapes. So many enticing cheeses to choose from, but you can't go wrong with French Brie and medium cheddar, so that's what we opted for. As for the beverage selection, RB's and my wine palates do not always align, but we can usually agree on bubbles, so that's what we did. Armed with a bottle of Brut cuvée and the aforementioned goodies, we made our way out to the picnic area. It's lovely out there. Many picnic tables, in the shade or in the sun, or you can picnic on the grass. We found a shaded table in the breeze overlooking Route 29, and settled in for our leisurely lunch. Terrific experience start to finish, even better than I remember from the past. Make sure you make V Sattui part of your Napa itinerary.

We missed our check in time by 30 mins and the team was not accommodating. The tasting was not worth the price since we had a big group and had to find our own seating. We were given a ticket upon check in and when we entered the main store area for the tasting, it was hard to find an employee to direct us where to go or what to do next. One employee told us "Good luck finding seats for your large group". He ended up being our server and had a totally attitude the whole time telling me to "relax"! Very disappointing service and experience and would not recommend it for large groups (over 2 people) and especially if you have a disability. No assistance was provided for our ambulatory friend. Great to see how busy the store and location is. The castle looking decor is cool with a nice picnic area and pretty grounds. Too bad the service put a damper on the whole experience. Hope yours will be much more positive.
