And I had been in the shop a few weeks ago getting an understanding of what we needed to do to convert these to electronic media. Yesterday, in the middle of maybe the fifth day of going thru the slides, the projector went out. And the projector is probably as old as the slides. Went in believing the light globe had gone out. These guy checked it out and went to work trying to find a globe that old. Not something sold these days. But they found one up stairs and likely buried eventually. The also offered advise on another part that was showing its age pretty well. When we got home, projector worked well and back to work we went. Thanks Photo Source. (I might add have used the shop a few time in colorizing old photos from over fifty year. Every one turned out awesome. So pleased)

She was very friendly at check-in, and she was patient and helpful during the shoot. I took my cat with me, and he was surprisingly cooperative for most of the shoot. This was my first time doing a photoshoot with my cat. I did book a 30 min slot, but it took half that time to get pictures taken and to order photos. I was honestly out the building before my appointment was officially over. As far as picking out photos, figuring out which deal would give me the most bang for my buck (had to figure that out and calculate it on my own), and having them ship my photos, the experience wasn't that great. I received my digital photos the day of the shoot, but I noticed one of my them was corrupted (it was lighter and more faded than the other pictures). Customer service wasn't able [or willing] to resolve that issue after sending me a link that didn't work, so I had to edit the photo myself... The rest of the digital photos came out really well, though. The wait to get my physical photos shipped to me took longer than they said it would. It didn't help that they created the shipping label a week after my shoot, so I got my photos well after Christmas. I wasted my money on the physical photos and canceled my membership after this experience just to get SOME money back. IF I ever do this photoshoot again, I hope customer service does a better job (or that I don't need to speak to them at all because none of my photos are corrupted).

I am glad to have a physical store to go to. The time needed was about what they estimated. Con: After I left the store with the second flash drive and got home i found the drive was empty, no file. I called then the next morning and described the issue. The guy said "bummer". He asked if i had checked the drive before leaving the store. I replied no, although the answer seemed obvious to me. I guess he was indicating that this was my fault somehow. I could have asked him the same thing, ''did you check that the transfer service to the drive was completed before you told me it was and sent me home?", but i didn't. He checked that they still had the file on their system and could give it to me if i came back in. This went smoothly and i asked whether i could have a discount for the inconvenience of the second trip (20 minutes each way). He related that since I had provided them with my own flash drive, and that was likely the issue that led to the empty drive, he wouldn't offer a discount. He offered me two reasons why this was my fault, but didn't offer any apology for the inconveience or indication that he felt he had any role in what happened. Honestly, if i had heard him use the word, 'sorry' a single time this would have been a very different review. To be clear, I DID ask to not buy their drive (another expense) but rather asked if they would use a new drive i had that was still in the wrapper. They agreed to that and it may have been the reason for the empty drive. But I would recommend that they add a check to their process that the file is transferred properly before giving it to customers.

This is a family-run operation, very sweet family and there are several really fun details that our 8 year old took notice of, they have a huge book of names, and Santa checks you off and adds notes, very realistic, I loved it. I found out that I am apparently on the "naughty" list :-) which my son got a huge kick out of! I highly recommend taking your family to see Santa there. The shop is next door to Jo Ann and Fresh Choice. If you can't make it for Christmas, I am excited to do the cool Halloween photos they do, complete with spectres and ghostly pets!

I am very satisfied with their handling of the situation. Worst exsperiance ever! Do not use Wal-Mart phone. I dropped off 4 disposable cameras at the Wal-Mart phone and was told they would be ready in 7-10 business days and would be contacted when they are ready. At the end of the 10 days I contacted them because I had not heard back and they said the machine that puts the negatives onto a CD was broken and it would be ready in two more days. At the end of that time I called again and was told the machine was still not fixed and they did not know when it would be ready. I said that I wanted to just pick up the photos then and was not concerned about getting the CD. At this point the lady on the phone was extremely rude to me and said I was not allowed to pick up the pictures. I proceeded to tell her I was fine paying the full price for the pictures only and she kept telling me I was not allowed to. I ask to speak to a manager and said that I could understand if it was policy and she could not give them to me but that they were my pictures and I wanted them to get picked up. She snapped back at me that their pictures were not mine and only the original film had been mine and I had no right to pick them up. She then hung up on me. I tried multiple times to call Walmart and talk to a manager and could never get one to answer the phone. I then sent Walmart an email and a different Walmart Photo employee contacted me a couple days later. She told me that I could either pick up the photos and paper photo like you do with digital prints or I could wait till the machine was fixed and they would give me 25% off. I said I would wait a little while and see how long it took. I had to keep contacting them because nobody was contacting me. I waited a little over a week and decided to go pick up the pictures themselves since the machine was still not fixed. When I went to pick up the pictures they said the machine was fixed that day and one of my CDs have been made but the others would be made the following day. This lady was extremely nice and said I could pick the pictures up the following day and all the CDs will be ready. The next day they still did not have all my CDs ready. So I went back the following day to pick them up. The lady in the photo department was the same one that I had spoken to on the phone and you hung up on me. She was extremely rude from the beginning and said she remembered me. I had my three-year-old niece there and she was very rude to her and was even snapping at her for saying she was hungry to me. She said she could give me a dollar or two discount and that was it. I proceeded to tell her that the other lady had told me I could have 25% off and she was very rude and said she could not do that. I asked again to speak to a manager and again said I understand completely if you cannot do that on your own but I was told if I waited until they were done they would give me 25% off and I would like that. She was extremely rude and told me that she was going to give me a discount until I said that and proceeded to mock me because she didn't feel the rest of the 25% off was worth making such a big deal about. When I again push for a manager she suddenly said she was able to give me the 25% discount. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I will never use Walmart Photo again and never go back to this Walmart.

Apparently, 4 photos of my family members, which I have already paid for, were shown as copyrighted on Walmart's printing system, and so they wouldn't make those prints for me when I went in for pick up. I thought that when you pay a good amount of money to a photographer and they send you your pictures so you can print them yourself, you're good to go. WRONG. The associate said that I needed to have a written signature from the photographer in order for the prints to be made. I can respect Walmart's rules and policies, but the way that she went about the situation was unprofessional. Instead of explaining to me nicely why my photos couldn't be printed during the time of pick-up, she gave me an attitude. She told me that I was committing a crime and can go to jail without the photographers' signature of consent. First of all, I have full consent by the photographers to print, OTHERWISE I WOULDN'T HAVE DONE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. I contacted the photographers afterward about the situation and they thought it was strange that Walmart did that. Her manager also knew about the situation, so why didn't they call me to notify me? I could have gotten the signatures before going in if Walmart is that strict. On top of that, their photo quality is not that great. Some of my photos have streak lines the first time. This time, I just needed some wallet prints for a family event and this Walmart was convenient and so I didn't mind, but this is the second time that I've encountered poor customer service, along with bad quality photos, so I will never come here again. I recommend that if you make online orders, don't pay until you see your photos OR get your photos. I did contact Walmart customer service afterwards and they gave me a refund. I kept the photos that they were "allowed" to print. I appreciate the person on the phone for being kind.
