Gleim the Jeweler is a family owned brand that has began on University Ave in Palo Alto in 1931, that's 8 years short of a century! Gleim had 3 locations in the early 2000s, the initial goldsmith shop in Palo Alto, Stanford Shopping Center store where Gleim has been one of the original tenants, and here in Los Altos as well. They downsized back to the roots at one time, under the leadership of Georgie Gleim, the granddaughter of the founder. Only Stanford location has been kept throughout the past couple of decades, so now we have Los Altos store back into the mix of businesses on Main Street! I welcomed Rafik and Carolina to my downtown and they smiled at me gracefully! Let's take a look inside, shall we?
