We visited so many jewelry shops and found the one we wanted here. We ended up purchasing my engagement ring here. They were attentive, not pushy, and provided their take on the different selection of jewelry. Unlike CH premier across the street where the sales representative kept urging us to purchase a 0.25 carat rock and was condescending. What drew us to Jade galore was the unique designs of their bands. For instance some of the bands are lined with baguettes diamonds and regular tiny round diamonds. The price was also much more affordable for a rock that had better specs that some of the more famous retailers. Bought engagement ring long time ago from JG back when they were still in Milpitas, when one of the smaller diamonds was dislodged I tried to replace it in nearby shop, the quote was quite outrageous and they would need 3 weeks to fix, which means they outsource it somewhere else. I have decided to try Jade Galore, the quote was half the price and I got it back in less than 3 days, they polished it too so my ring came back very shiny like new. Meh, prices are super inflated. They do have a lot of stock to look at. I've been a customer since they had their iconic shop in SF's Chinatown on Grant and then later at Cupertino Square. I compared prices on Diamond bands and I've for sure have seen and purchased rings that had more carats for way less in price. The ones I saw were inflated by more than 2 times the price. Amazing staff and service. I had a bracelet and ring gifted to me last year and I came in to look for a pair of diamond earrings. I've never shopped for jewelry before and the staff really treat you like you're family. Debby Wu was our sales person.She was patient and discrete. She gave us a lot of space/time to think over and look around. She was NEVER pushy! In addition, she gave very good advice( after we queried her) such as : 1) round diamond have better resale value. 2) Get six prongs instead of four because it's secure and it make the diamond look rounder (for our stone's size). We made the plunge and never regretted it. Over the years, I came back to either get my ring serviced and always asked for Debby. I came in to ask about a watch battery change, $30 from an experienced jeweler. They know that the Great Mall will do it for $10 or $15, but they said that they are high end jewelry and their batteries are high quality from Swiss. ok. i get that. i've taken watches to get cheap battery replacements and their batteries died on me after a few months. So i think, sure i'll spend $30 on this and it better last me a long time. Btw, i have a crack on the watch. The other thing the jeweler noted is that the way the watch close/open is just by snapping it open and putting pressure to close it. Closing the watch worried the jeweler because it could make the crack bigger due to the high pressure to close it. Amy was helping me explain it from the jeweler point of view and that it will be up to me if I want to get it done here. She convinced me that he is a very good jeweler and been working in the industry a long time and I've had my frustration with cheap places so I decided to pay the $30. He did it successfully and he said that it was very tricky and he was so worried about cracking it more. Anyway, I'm really pleased and I hope the battery lasts at least a full year. read more

My first visit to Jade Galore was back in July 2019 when my fiancé and I were shopping for engagement rings. When we arrived to the store, we were immediately greeted with a warm welcome and given a tour of the amazing space. I told Fannie exactly what I had in mind, and she showed me all the options they had in stock, and they were all beautiful! Since the pear shaped diamond I was looking for wasn't available in store, James, (store owner) offered to find the diamond I wanted with all my specifications and create the exact ring I had in mind. While discussing my diamond specifications (4 C's), I learned so much about diamonds and the details of the cut, color, clarity, and carat...something I don't feel many jewelers discuss with their clients. A couple weeks later, James contacted me to come back to the store to view the 3 loose diamonds he was able to find with my specs (with GIA certification). Two weeks later, my ring was made and it was everything I wanted! (Second Photo) Fast forward 3 years later, I unfortunately lost my engagement ring! I contacted James a week after my ring didn't turn up and we did the same process again, but this time, I changed the shape to an oval and made the center stone slightly larger with no diamonds on the band. My husband and I moved back to San Diego, so we made a trip to San Jose to view the 2 loose diamonds James found with my specifications. Christina showed us the diamonds and the options for the white gold band, and from there, I was kind of happy I lost my ring because was able to re-create my engagement ring according to my current style LOL. Just stopped by the new jade galore flag ship store in Santa Clara across the street from valley fair mall. Wow this place was huge... even tho Jade galore wasn't fully finished with their decor, this new spot was designed perfectly. My family and friends have been buying all our custom high end jewelry and watches from jade galore for over 20+ years and they have always exceeded our expectations with price, quality and service. Every time I stop by to take a look at new inventory, the sales person would always sonic clean and polish all of our jewelry we have on. Every few years, I upgrade my wife's jewelry, and they always give us full credit of the purchase price of the item, so it's much easier on my wallet, and the wife is incredibly happy too :) I can't wait to see the finished flagship store... No longer do I shop there.........the last time we were there, one of the gals yelled and screamed at me, luckily my man was outside and didn't hear it.......Her name was Monica or Mona, what a rude ass girl.......let me tell you what happened.... Besides being their customer, I introduced many people to that store, I would even drive the 45 min to get them there...... At one time I was gonna purchase a nice watch, very expensive one, and put a deposit down of 4 grand, when times were tough I told them that I could no longer afford to buy it and they credited 2 grand to one card, and the remaining 2 grand went to a store credit. The store credit didn't have an expiration date on it. When I did attempt to use it, I would call and let her know, she must be some owner or manager there. Whatever, anyways, by the time my finances got back in shape, I went there to buy something just so I could say hi and to get rid of that credit...... We looked at a watch, normally 10% is given to repeat customers in the watch field and I asked for an extra discount.......She went off the bandwagon, everyone in the damn store started looking at me, I felt so embarassed, telling me that credits only have one year and this and that, couldn't believe I was spending money there, I said screw this, use my 2 grand credit, paid an extra 8 grand and left that damn place....after all I have nothing against Rolex....lol Now I go straight to Alan Man's for diamonds and for watches, I go to Shreve's on Post, better discounts....after all, isn't that what a woman looks for............ Over the years, we've shopped here quite often and I got some sparklies from them. My mother had her engagement ring reset here and I had a gorgeous loose diamond set into a nice necklace. My parents have been shopping at Jade Galore since I was a kid, the first store on Stockton Street now moving to Stonestown Galleria. I now shop at the Milpitas Jade Galore, I highly recommend this jewelry store for all your needs. They have a great selection of watches and jewelry. Why I would recommend this place is the friendly staff like James, Jacky and Anthony. They do everything they can to meet your needs and custom fit if needed. What I love best is the service behind the product you get, I bring my watches back to have them polished from time to time and the watch comes back looking like brand new. They are very careful with there work and only let certain jewelers work on certain pieces of jewelry. I recommend James as he is very knowledgeable and doesn't pressure you into a purchase. The customer service is just above and beyond, I walk into stores like Cartier and other Rolex dealers and they just don't talk to you. The staff at Jade Galore make you feel important by offering beverages and makes you feel that your business is greatly valued.... Too bad yelp maxes on five stars....only if there was more...... My mom and I have shopped at both the Cupertino store and the Milpitas store. They have good selection of jewelry and watches. However... We bought two watches there over the course of 12 years and both had something wrong! The first was a women's Cartier Tank. That watch's date viewer stopped working about a year after purchase. When I brought it back, they wound it up and said, "here". They said I would have to send it to Europe to get fixed so I ended up not doing it and figured I would just live with it. A broken date viewer. Then 2.5 years ago, we bought a women's Rosegold Datejust. Beautiful watch. However, it was fast. Rolex timepiece? Anyway, I figured I would live with that too but now, 2.5 years later, the watch is not working... It was 30 minutes slow after only a few hours. A $15K watch... Really? So is it coincidence that both my supposedly "good" watches purchased by Jade Galore has some issues with it? I am going down to their shop this week to see what they will do... Look at them sparklies. It's hard not to stop and stare at the display windows when walking by this store in Milpitas Square. They always have something that will catch you eye. Compared to other Asian jewelers, the service here is very good. They're knowledgeable and seem for the most part patient with you as you go over their inventory and try on whatever interests you. From what I've seen with friends and my own personal experience, they don't really put too much pressure on you either. So no twists of the arm to buy now now now. They know their stuff, and all the in's and out's of every brand they carry. Prices on branded stuff are hard to negotiate down as they're pretty much fixed, however any loose gold, jade ,or diamonds can always be negotiated down. They do want you to come back as a repeat customer so they'll accommodate the best they can. read more

Walking into jewelry stores sometimes gives me an uncomfortable feeling, especially after my experience with Davidson and Licht at Valley Fair (see review). But Jade Galore in Milpitas was different. I purchased a watch here for my husbands 40th birthday in May. I knew what I wanted and had done research on pricing. Jackie helped me with my questions and gave me the best price on the Rolex. It's sometimes hard for me to hand over my credit card for such a large amount but this was easy. I felt good because Jackie gave me great service and was patient with me. I was offered green tea while waiting for my receipt and she also offered to clean my diamond earrings and have the Rolex engraved with a special message, all gratis. Since then, we've been back to purchase a gold chain for our son, from Christine and Jackie and they were helpful once again. read more

We cannot recommend James and Jade Galore enough! My fiancé(!!!) and I were referred to James by a co-worker who had also gotten his engagement ring for his lovely wife from James and Jade Galore. We went to a few places before we made an appointment with James--and wow! What a difference! James is very professional and knowledgable. Before we went in for the first visit, we gave James a general idea of what type of diamond we were looking for. When we came in, he had a few to show us and took the time to educate us about the 4 Cs and worked with us to determine what was important to us as a couple. He never pressured us to make a purchase. This was SO different from what we had experienced at Shane Co (where they pressure you INTENSELY to make a purchase) and Brilliant Earth (where they literally do not care about you). My fiancé gave James his budget and we left it up to James to source us a diamond. And OH BOY! When he called us to come in 3 or so weeks later--the diamond he had sourced for us was beautiful, BIGGER than I had expected, and was within my Fiancé's budget! He wanted us to see it under all different types of lights and even brought out the magnifier so he could point out what we're basically imperceptible flaws (seriously guys, this diamond makes me smile so hard!) He never pressured us to make the purchase-but honestly, it was a beautiful diamond and more than what we thought we were looking for (quality and size wise--not price wise). James had a setting modified to fit the diamond and had my wedding band custom made to ensure the rings were perfectly matched. This ring is exactly what my finance and I had envisioned. Price was competitive--and the experience of dealing with James was really priceless. James is a certified gemologist and he is incredibly knowledgable and honest. Our engagement ring is gorgeous and James and his staff are incredibly sweet and professional. They ran an appraisal for us for insurance purposes and reminded us to come in to get the ring examined and cleaned regularly. I wouldn't trust any other place to handle my ring. One of the most important things I looked for when getting insurance coverage for the ring was whether I could choose to work with the jeweler of my choice if anything happened--because I won't go anywhere else than Jade Galore and James!
