Excellent customer service! I have been going to Dr. Jed's for nearly 30 years and I can say hands down he is the best dentist! So much so that I come up from Florida 2x a year to see family and get my cleanings because it's hard to find a good dentist! Great family owned business with a well-trained and professional staff. Dr. Jed's nephew, Dr. G is awesome! They make a great team. I had to get a new night guard made and it did not get completed in time before I left to go back home to Florida. So, they shipped it to me and I was so impressed, it was a perfect fit. Alex is one of the best dentist hygienists around, she is thorough with her cleanings and has an extremely soft touch. I would highly recommend this business to anyone. They also text/call you for appointments depending on your preference which makes scheduling a lot easier!! Their team is very knowledgeable about your insurance plan and they gladly provide services only covered under your insurance plan and they never try to get you to pay more for add-ons. read more

Dr Kesler and Dr Guzak are out of this world amazing. Dr Guzak is remarkably gentle and can do Botox! Dr Kesler can do amazing extractions and so charismatic. The staff is exceptional and always help me feel at ease. There's no other office I'd go to. read more

Horrible experience. Chastised me in a borderline threatening manner while I was laying in a dental chair - all based on me asking his staff questions that apparently they didn't like. Never asked me what I was asking or why. I am sure a professional dialogue could have resolved the concerns but that never occurred for I was on the receiving end of a one way interaction. read more

I have been going to Dr Kesler since I first moved to Columbus and it would take some hard convincing to have me go elsewhere. (Though would be easily convinced with a little bribing...a Saab, a year supply of Twizzlers- cherry NOT strawberry please, etc. If you can provide either of these, please get in touch.) He oozes professionalism and expertise (he's been practicing for 15 years) and his staff are incredibly friendly. He's also the official Team Dentist to the Columbus Destroyers. I didn't realize that the team collectively needed one but okay! That has to be a feather in ol' Jed's cap! Take one look at his website and you may understand why I feel 'so L.A.' when I go there. Haha. His services are vast and include ZOOM, veneers, perio disease, xrays, implants and crowns. If you are prone to anxiety attacks or become a nervous wreck at the mere suggestion of going to the dentist you should look him up. Your dental chairs are arranged so that you may look out of the floor-to-ceiling windows to the landscaped backyard. As you can imagine, it aids in helping to create a serene atmosphere. read more

Before I dive into this, I want to express that I do not know Jed Kessler and based on other reviews it sounds like he is great and my experience with the staff was positive. This 1-star review is for "Dr." Eric Guzak, who I was assigned to as a new patient. After the routine cleaning, the dental hygienist told me something along the lines of "your teeth look good and I am not seeing anything, but I will go get the dentist to check you out." Guzak then comes in and states that I have 14 sides of my teeth that will need to be drilled and filled due to cavities. I have never had a cavity, so it was shocking for me to hear that I now had 14. I left with skepticism, but also wanted to trust that a medical professional would not be trying to blatantly lie to a patient so that he could make more money. This skepticism resulted in me taking off work and driving a 4 hour roundtrip to my trusted dentist that I have been going to for 25 year before moving to Columbus. He looks over the paperwork detailing the nature and location of each cavity that supposedly needs to be drilled and filled. After digging around my mouth he expresses that he really is not seeing what Dr. Gozuk claimed to be there. My trusted dentist walked me through the proper way to test for each of these cavities, and he came up negative on all 14. He did mention, however, "it is a stretch, but I can kind of/sort of understand how someone would mistake one of the areas as a cavity, but it is just staining." He also expressed that in the areas where cavities supposedly resided there would be nothing to drill out and fill, and that this would be an irresponsible procedure to perform for the wellbeing of my teeth. Based on my experience, and in my opinion, Dr. Guzak is a phony and should be avoided so that you are not taken advantage of financially or medically. read more

Dr Kesler and his staff are great! They got me in on-time (which was unheard of with my previous dentist), and my hygienist was very friendly and very gentle (a big deal as I don't enjoy going to the dentist). Dr Kesler showed me my x rays and fixed what was needed quickly without trying to sell me teeth whitening, caps, etc. I will go back to Dr Kesler. I would recommend him to anybody who is trying to find a good dentist without all of the hassle! read more

As a mother of four busy children, it had been close to three years since my last dental appointment. In addition to being a little nervous about what they might find regarding my dental health, I was also worried about being judged for not having kept up-to-date on my cleanings. My worries and fears were immediately dispelled when I walked into Dr. Kesler's office. I barely sat down in the waiting room before their friendly staff took me back for my examination. Sure, I needed some additional work beyond just a cleaning, but I never felt judged. The staff was super up-beat and friendly, their work was very thorough and I felt like they got me back on track to having completely healthy teeth. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!! id rate 0 stars if i could. this dentist is awful. their goal is just to get money out of you. i needed a few fillings on each side of my mouth and they told me it would be a pretty easy process. 2 days after my fillings were done i had bruising all over the side of my face from the numbing being done so roughly. i waited a few months before going back because i was honestly scared. they did the other side of my mouth but this time was worse. they told me i had a very deep cavity (which usually they'd refer you over to get a root canal. i didn't know this at the time) but instead of doing this properly, they just put a filling in it. i have been back to this dentist 4 times in hopes of them fixing their error and they kept telling me that after they shave it down it should feel better. keep in mind they shaved it down 4 times (it should've been fine after the first time if it was done correctly). before my last appointment i did a TON of research and found out that they handled this cavity terribly. there never should've been a filling. instead the root canal should've been done asap or else it can just get worse and worse. i was visibly upset and the next appointment and i had to tell THEM what to do. it's been 3 months and they won't fix it. i still can't eat on one side of my mouth. finally going to a new dentist in the morning. btw all the good reviews are from their friends and family. don't believe any of the bs you see. thanks for reading. don't go here. read more

Don't go!!! Their fees are pretty high. Insurance won't cover 100% of the fee for regular annual cleaning. Go somewhere else if you just want to have a FREE annual check up/cleaning service. read more

I came here off a coupon I received in the mail for a $70 new patient check up, which I'm assuming is targeted toward those who don't have insurance or a lot of money. I got my check up and was told I need around 7 fillings, which were very small but should be dealt with right away. I was quoted $2900 out of pocket and $1,000 with their "not insurance" plan, some company they linked up with to hook new patients. My dental hygenist told me it would be $100 a year for this plan, even though they didn't work directly with them. Whatever, I called this place and was told that with the work I needed done it would cost $33/month AND $400/year. So no way I was doing that, which left me with this $3,000 bill. I called around to about fifteen dental offices and got a few to quote me on this work, all less than $3,000 and a couple said they would charge $1,800! I made an appointment with one of these places and was told I didn't need any work done! That if I kept my teeth clean and got regular check ups to see if the cavities got bigger I should be fine. I can't believe this place wanted to charge $3,000 for an unnecessary procedure. We're supposed to be able to trust experts to give an honest assessment when our health is in their hands, and some places like Jed Kesler just want to rip you off. read more

His staff are professional and patient, and they have helped my husband and I get caught upon dental care after several years of being away. They work well with our insurance, and we always know what things are going to cost before they are done. Of course, going to the dentist is not something I enjoy! In fact, I have always been petrified. This was about the best experience I could have. I have had Dr. Kessler do fillings, root canals and crown and even a bridge. He has always been concerned that I am having a pain free experience. I recently had a cap come off while eating a granola bar. Even though he had not done the initial cap, they got me in quickly and provided a solution. The atmosphere is very calming. The entire back of the office is windows with a beautiful view of nature. Don't be surprised to see a half dozen squirrels or deer grazing on the food that is provided for them. I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice. They use the latest technology while keeping the "old school" feel of caring for their patients. read more

Went to Dr. Kessler recently and was immediately led to believe my oral status was near emergency status. Was told I would have major tooth loss in several years. Then he told me I needed a deep gum cleaning and after this procedure I would have much more energy and feel livlier lol, According to Dr. Kessler, despite all these dental shortcomings I supposedly had, the next next step in my oral care should be a $2500 cosmetic procedure. Seemed odd that he wanted to do cosmetics before a regular tooth cleaning, so I went to another dentist for a 2nd opinion. He said my teeth were fine and if I continue regular dental care there was no reason I would ever lose teeth. Been to him twice now and haven't paid a dime out of pocket. It's clear that some dentists are in it to take care of people and some for the cash. Oh, you get to enjoy a 10min high pressure chat with Kessler's salesperson while you're sitting in the chair too! Tacky. Kessler's staff were very nice and the office and grounds are awesome. Hence the 2 stars. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This guy's a quack. Not only did he do a painful root canal on my then 10 year old, he will try to "up-sell" you on everything! He was so rude and belittling to his staff who didn't do "up-selling" that she was in tears in front of patients. I was then in tears after a procedure he did on my teeth, he told me I have a low tolerance for pain. I've had 4 children with no medication, I think I can tolerate pain -I just cannot tolerate Dr Kesler. Do not give him business! read more

I do not know what happened to this practice but it has gone downhill! I had been going to Dr. Kesler for 15 years or so. I also introduced my husband to his practice when he was new to Columbus. For years we loved the staff and services. We slowly started to see changes but continued to stick with Dr Kesler knowing that change happens anywhere. The dental hygentists are fabulous and we acually do miss them but that's it. My husband and I get routine check ups religiously every 6 months which is what our insurance allows. A few cavaties here and there, no big deal. What blew it for us was when Dr. Kesler said my husband had 18 cavaties!!! Really?! I find it impossible to obtain that many within a 6 month period! No previous concern had even been mentioned to him before! The hygentist even rolled her eyes and later explained that there were only 2 cavities that needed filling. This situation snowballed into an ugly mess over several months. There were many times we had to follow up with the office to get them their payments! Even still we are having problems! We just received a collection letter from them after we were told everything was taken care of! What really gets us upset is that we have worked hard to get our credit score over 800...if we legitimately owe someone money we will pay it. We tried to work with them, they did not communicate well and continued to give us false information. For years Dr. Kesler's practice provided great service but ever since 2010 and 2011 it is a drill and fill practice that is run by greed. read more
