Eventually she decided to open up her own restaurant at Stamford's High Ridge Shopping Center. For over 30 years, Olé Molé has been offering consumers authentic Mexican cuisine crafted with consistent quality and fresh ingredients. The menu offers traditional staples such as enchiladas, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, tacos, tamales, and tostadas. At one point, Olé Molé had additional locations in the nearby towns of Darien, Southport, and Fairfield, but they have since closed. My wife and I recently had lunch at Olé Molé. She is a Stamford native and has eaten here multiple times, but it was the first visit for me. We met up with my wife's parents. The interior is cozy and inviting. Margaritas sounded like a great way to get the fiesta started. I had the "Margarita Olé" (tequila blanco, fresh lime juice, triple sec, agave), my wife had "Mango" (tequila blanco, fresh lime juice, triple sec, agave, mango puree), and my mother-in-law had "Strawberry" (tequila blanco, fresh lime juice, triple sec, agave, strawberry puree). They were just what the doctor ordered! We also ordered some delicious "Guacamole" (fresh Hass avocado, jalapeño, onion, garlic & cilantro w/ chips) for the table.
