Communication is awful. Impossible to get to dr between appointments. They don't return calls. They give you incorrect procedure instructions. The one thing they care about is MONEY . They will always take that immediately. With Medicare you're supposed to bill patients after claim is processed; they want everything up front and then you can worry about getting your money back. I sincerely regret having surgery here. Potential side effects never discussed . My vision keeps getting worse and I've spent a fortune. Both hubby and I felt comfortable with the exam and her competence. The guy working the front was also very professional and friendly. Once the glasses came in, he took his time to ensure that the fit was perfect for each of us before we left. While we spent more than we normally do at America's Best even with insurance covering a portion of it, we feel like the service and quality live up to the cost. The issue is that they don't have any cheap frames. Most options are designer names. Since we typically only get reading glasses, I will most likely just do the exam here and order frames online going forward because I'm cheap and not interested in spending big bucks on reading glasses that I hate wearing anyway, but this is no reflection on the quality of Eye Optique, which I think is top notch, and I am glad we ended up here.
