So I know the food is good here usually and I have yet to try the alligator sausage which will probably be great but my problem is with the service. My husband ordered crawfish like he normally does but this time they were mushy, slimy and seemed like they'd get anyone sick. When he went to take them back, the guy at the counter said "we've received no complaints. You're not getting a refund." I don't even eat crawfish that much and I knew something was fishy (no pun intended) about this batch. I went and got some crawfish about 2 hrs ago and they are perfection! Seasoned well (I didn't add anything) and big. The claws yield good meat, they're big too. Hands down the nicest people that work there. They accept cash tips and are EBT friendly. Not sure of their hours as of now but it's totally worth it. I haven't had crawfish this good in a long time. Seriously worth it. They have crabs and catfish as well. Fresh, fresh fresh. A+++++++ They also have specials for 5 lbs with corn and potatoes. With the current high price of crawfish I was looking for some shrimp. They had beautiful large fresh shrimp at a great price. They are in an older building but don't let that throw you off. I visit here once a month since I spontaneously dropped by once with a mean craving for boiled crabs. Hot boiled crawfish and crabs are great, if a little on the spicy side. They usually have 1-3 sizes crab to choose from, corn, potatoes, boiled shrimp and crawfish during season. Extras like turkey necks, sausage, filets, raw oysters, softshell are usually available. When the crab is plentiful they sometimes offer a buy a dozen get a dozen free deal! Nice enough employees. I don't ask much of them so they have never disappointed. Would be a five star review but the prices are a little higher than Michaels down the street, and the boiled shrimp isn't that great (thin peel and soft texture, though thats a roll of the dice anyway.) read more

I've always gotten really good boiled Crawfish Crab and Shrimp from here. Picked up 10 lbs of Crawfish today sausage and potatoes. Was the best I've ever had. I came here this past Saturday morning to buy live crawfish for a boil, and this will likely be my new go-to seafood market. The old man behind the counter was friendly and fair. The crawfish was the second-cheapest of all the places I called (5 or 6 places in Jefferson, Metairie, Bucktown, and Uptown). And I also bought a pound of smoked sausage, which was cheaper than any grocery I saw. He also had fresh shrimp and fish fillets (TROUT!!!); as well as boiled crawfish and shrimp. read more

This is a good local spot where you can get fresh seafood at the counter and on the street. They usually have a couple sizes of shrimp, crabs and crawfish when in season. They aren't the cheapest, but they are very consistent. Its also a great spot to get some local fish, we get the trout here and it is always fresh! The staff is classic too, no transient employees here; I am always greeted by knowledgeable, friendly people year after year! read more

This place is amazing! I got the crawfish and a stuffed artichoke. The crawfish was amazing! They were a great size and perfectly seasoned. The artichoke was huge, the stuffing was delicious, we were so pleased! It's a small place but they have a huge amount of choices, and the other side offers poboys! I stay down the street from here I went here last week for crawfish and asked how long ago was the crawfish boiled and the guy said yesterday. I called this morning just after 10 a.m. since this is the time they open I asked did they have crawfish and the lady said only cold crawfish it'll be 45 minutes for hot crawfish. I just wanna know who wants to buy day old crawfish or cold crawfish from a establishment that's supposed to sell fresh seafood. Trifling! read more

I got horrible food poisoning after eating 3 boiled crabs from this place. I was suspicious when I saw all of their seafood out on display not on ice. I wish I had gone with my gut on that one.... at least I still have one! read more

Failed to warn of or deliver 100lbs of crawfish that was ordered a week in advance. $400 order is nothing to take lightly; though they did. When I ask who else could help me now that they couldnt deliver on their commitment, they said "we dont know anyone else in the industry who can help." Really new orleans seafood company? You cant identify anyone else in nola who sells crawfish? They blamed an employee for not calling us to say they wouldnt have the 100lbs of crawfish.
